Super nice people and I would do business with them again. There were some scheduling issues -which they admitted were their fault- and to compensate, did not charge me for extra keys for the doors. They came highly recommended and all in all, I'm very pleased. I'd definitely recommend them and would certainly contact them again first, if I ever need further locksmithing work.

My husband called at the end of the business day for our locks to be replaced and they scheduled a house call for the next morning. Matthew was professional and friendly and completed the job in a timely manner. He offered to look at our garage door b/c we have trouble locking and latching the door. Turns out we installed it incorrectly and he corrected it at no charge. As far as price goes, we didn't know what to expect and our cost was close to what we were guessed would be reasonable. We will definitely use them again and recommend their services to others.

They are great, and they are very good. I haven' taken anything to them that they couldn't deal with. They have been around a long time. I would recommend them to others.

The Cox Lock and Key shop is a couple of blocks from my property, a 1930s home in a historic district. The front door knob was stuck and the door couldn't be opened. I stopped by the shop on Friday afternoon and made an appointment for first thing Monday morning. The technicians were able to open the door and replace the pin and knobs, making the original hardware functional again. They were very helpful explaining the details of the mechanism and how to best handle it to avoid future jams.

The contact phone person was great to work with. I work and can't get away during normal business hours but the phone person helped me choose three deadbolts which turned out to be exactly what I want. The service person showed up promptly even calling to say he was on his way. Once there he promptly installed all deadbolts even though there had been some previous amateur work to contend with. All were courteous and pleasant. I don't know if the price is reasonable since I have never had this type of work done before but I still have some hardware to replace and will be going back to Cox's. I'm late with my review because I expected to have them back before now.

I bought a 1963 VW Bug. I wanted to have spare keys made. I went to the shop. The woman researched for me which key blank I needed. There are several styles for the bug. She then ordered blanks. She had to order several blanks to obtain the blanks I needed. She didnt charge me for the extra blanks. They worked perfectly. She has also cut house keys that have worked without issues. I would highly recommend them. Nice, helpful.

It went very well. Our technicians were courteous and very helpful. They did the work and identified other issues. We were very pleased with the service.
