Description of Work: Sinks weren't rraining well. They rooted from an area that a previous company didn't bother to roto root. They also replaced the insid s of a toilet that wasn't flushing well. They were very fast and efficient and clean.

Description of Work: They gave my HVAC system a tune-up. I purchased the Angie's List deal. This is the second time I've purchased their tune-up deal and I've used them for HVAC repairs as well. Great company, customer service. Punctual, professional and great at what they do.

Description of Work: They did a great job. They gave me an appointment window, and stuck to it. That was very convenient. Plus, the service technician was friendly, intelligent, and informative. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced a/c capacitor and fan, two customer bought faucets, and a 50 gal water heater. Good comms and arrived on time.

Description of Work: Cody & Sons replaced one of my air conditioners. In the process of checking the ducts under the house they discovered that the plumbing fixtures under the house were partially broken and leaking. Today, they are replacing the plumbing pipes under the house and also replacing 2 old toilets that my wife and I hated. I am so glad to get all of this taken care of. Knowing that your HVAC and your plumbing is in order in a 50+ year old house is great. I use these people for all plumbing and HVAC matters, including water heaters. They are spot on and their prices are reasonable.

Description of Work: They had to come twice because my Fossett needed to be replaced and they don't sell them. So I purchased a faucet which they installed. They also did a good job fixing the cut off valves below the sink.

Description of Work: Second opinion on plumbing issue - Fixxer Company had said may need new pipes at $100s or $1000s. Cody said it was the washer.

Description of Work: Cody representatives came to my house and reviewed my needs and made a proposal. I became concerned because they made statements that I did not find credible. They told me I could not use the bathroom sink just because the stopper was broken. Also, they wanted to replace the gold stopper with a silver stopper because they did not have a gold stopper. I thought their estimate was high. They proposed doing the work for $436 dollars. I found an alternative plumber that actually did the work for $263. Their estimate was more than 70% higher than the plumber that actually did the work.

Description of Work: They showed on time, did the job correctly the first time, were polite, professional, pleasant, and respectful. I will call them the next time I need a plumber.

Description of Work: Cody's came on Aug. 28 to do a routine maintenance and system check-up. Technician said that the bearings were starting to go in the fan motor of the condenser. No need to do anything now, but it's probably not going to get any better by itself. A week later the motor died, and the technician came out and said "I knew this motor was going to go out, I just didn't expect it to be in a week." The only thing that bothered me was the nice round number: $500 to replace the fan motor and replace a fuse in the disconnect box. No invoice showing cost of parts and labor: just that nice round number. I realize that every vendor marks up the cost of parts and has to charge a good amount for labor to keep the business going. But coming up with exactly $500 seemed way too easy. But everything has been fine since, so no complaints.

Description of Work: Purchased new refrigerator, not realizing it was deeper than old one. Because of water connection projecting 6" from wall, new refrigerator was displaced more forward into the kitchen than we wanted. Asked Cody & Son to provide a "fix." They offered several options. The one we chose has worked out well. | They were unable to arrive at the time agreed, but did call and offered two options - later that evening, or the next morning. The latter option was not feasible, so we elected the later evening offer. They appeared at the revised time, surveyed the problem, offered us options, and proceeded immediately to do the work. The work was done quickly and professionally. And, of course, they honored the Angie's List coupon!
