Cody & Sons Plumbing Heating & Air

This was the third time I have used Cody Plumbing, and the third time I was completely satisfied with their punctuality, their work, their professionalism, and their price. I have dealt with two members of their family, and cannot recommend this company highly enough. The first time I called them in March of 2012, I had a leak in the wall behind my kitchen sink. Although the dishwasher had to be removed and replaced in order to fix the leak, it was done efficiently, and I have had no problem since. The second time I called was for my ghost commode that kept flushing itself, my disposal that kept backing up into the other section of the sink, and one sink that was slow to drain. All were fixed to my complete satisfaction. I almost hate to write a good review for the Cody's, as I'm afraid they will have too much work and not enough time for all the problems of my 50-year-old home. I'm getting ready to call them again.

I needed a plumber to fix a couple of issues. I called them on short notice and they sent someone out immediately who was honest, knowledgable and thorough. They had to come back out and got the job taken care of quickly with no mess. I was very impressed by them and will absolutely use them again in future.

If you can imagine moving into a new home ( it was built in 1964, and it was my childhood home, and I was SO excited about raising my child there!!), and finding out 1 week later that you not only did you smell gas but that it was a major leak. I was nervous scared and not unimportantly, worried about cost of repair, but willing to pay whatever. We did call the Warranty Company (don't ever use First American Warranty), who sent out THE most incompetent plumbing company that tore up our walls and couldn't even find the gas pipe that led to our home! My husband and our lawn company dug up a few holes and found the pipe! You would think a licensed plumbing company could find it, but oh well! If I didn't mention it, don't use "On the Spot Plumbing"--they are off the mark in a major way!! Anyway, not willing to work with incompetent vendors on such a scary leak, I contacted Bill Cody's company, and without a doubt I am SO thrilled and so relieved with their responsiveness, thoroughness, professionalism, kindness, and price. From Mark, Randy, Mike, Brad to everyone else, they were such a joy to work with!! I have never been happier with a service provider and I am still in shock at the level of amazing service provided. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime! Thanks guys!! :-)

From the first call to Randal until the job was completed by Curtis it was an excellent experience. Not only was the professionalism outstanding but the informative advise on preventive measures were greatly appreciated. It was completed in a timely manner and within the cost that was quoted to me which, BTY, was less than some of the other major plumbing companies. They do business all over the DFW area and I would HIGHLY recommend.

I had a water leak under my pier and beam foundation. It was a pretty bad leak so time was important. I called Cody and Sons Plumbing and they got someone right out to the house. They had the water leak fixed in less than one hour and the charge was very reasonable. I will certainly use them again and recommend they to friends. They even sent me a card in the mail thanking me for picking them. Great Service!!

They were supposed to come at 9am on 10/8 but Mike called me at 9am to ask if they could do the job the next day as one of their customers had an emergency. I agreed and I really appreciated their loyalty to their customers. As a result, Mike gave me an extra discount. They completed the job in about 3 hrs and even cleaned up. I will use them again and highly recommend their excellent work. And.....today I received a thank you note from them in appreciation for my business. Imagine !!!

They were the highest estimate I received, but I hired them because they were responsive and very professional. Called to make sure it was ok to do the job 3 days earlier than scheduled. Good hard working guys got it done quickly and professionally. They honored my Angie's List coupon.

Leak was determined to be in sprinkler system. Plumber did not charge for the service.

Telephoned company due to non-responsive other company. Polite, timely, and thorough. Technicians communicated before, during, and after appointment. PROFESSIONAL

I have been a customer for more than seven years now. They have installed two toilets one garbage disposal four or more sink faucets and will be installing more bath fixtures later this month. They are always polite, honest and dependable. Couldn't ask for nicer people. I know that I can trust their workmanship to be top notch.

Ultimately the contractor's price was more than I was prepared to pay. But I still needed the faucets repaired, so I called Cody and Sons Plumbing. I called twice - no one answered - so I left a message each time. I did not get a return call. I then called the cell number on the business card of the plumber that had assessed my plumbing. He answered, and when I told him I was still wanting the repairs to the faucets, he said he would have to look at the estimates he made for my property before he could schedule an appointment - and that he would call me back within an hour or two. That was in the morning and he did not call me back. I called the main office the next day and spoke to someone that told me the plumber I spoke with was busy but would call me back that day. He did not. It's obvious I should have gotten the message but I called back one last time and was told the original plumber was at the dentist and would call me back "as soon as he gets out of the chair". Of course - I did not get any return call. There was no need in running me around - it was a poor business practice to ignore messages or promise return calls - and fail to deliver. A 'professional' plumbing company would have simply told me they were too busy or scheduled my work for a time when they could get to it. Time is the one resource none of us can get back - and I resent Cody and Sons Plumbing wasting mine.

The company was very easy to deal with. We scheduled one time for an estimate. They showed up on time and quickly gave an estimate for the work. They reviewed what work would be needed to meet code and pass inspection. I got other estimates and found that their pricing was competitive. I later contacted them to schedule the work. They were able to fit us in when it was convenient for us. They showed up on time. The work that was in the estimate was completed with no additions. The work was completed quickly and neatly! Will call on them again if we need plumbing work.

The Colby team phoned to let me know when they would arrive and they arrived on time. Very professional and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Wrote very detailed information of services performed on the invoice which I appreciated. Invited mento call them if I should have further questions about the project or if I experienced further problems. Great customer service. Mark was wonderful.

It went fine no real comments either way on the work. Response times and punctuality were excellent.

I've been dealing with them for a long time and I like them. I find them to be very prompt and reliable. Their price is also satisfactory.

Cody and Sons are awesome. I have had them out to work several times and each time they are on time, professional, and do quality work. I could not be more pleased; however, they know be by name when I call. I do trust them.

James updated the 1978 plumbing in our home. The kitchen sink required new hot & cold, dishwasher and icemaker lines and 4 water cutoff valves. The wetbar sink required a new supply line and water cutoff valve. He also installed our new Moen kitchen faucet quickly. All work was done cleanly; just a work of art really. The plumber kept his work area tidy & picked up as he worked and when he left the job. James is a personable and professional fellow. As is the owner, Randy Cody, when I set the appointment with him initally. We recommend Bill Cody & Sons Plumbing for their professionalism, punctuality and high quality of work.

He was very knowledgeable and professional. He knew exactly how to make the repair on my mid-century sink. I have had three other plumbers look at the faucet and they didn't want to do the repair. It was't cheap but I am so happy to find a company that can repair a vintage sink. The only alternative was to replace the fixtures. I thought I was going to be forced to redo the entire bathroom.

I was very happy with the service provided and will happily call on this service provider again.

They were great, very polite, and they gave me a discount because of Angie's List. They went out of their way to call around to other plumbing stores to find the part I needed, which was unrelated to their original project. Them doing this saved me money in the end.

We purchased a 70's townhome, and the faucets in the upstairs bath were rusted. We knew that from the begining, so we purchased new faucets, but what we didn't know is when the painter turned on the bath faucet, water started coming out of the ceiling downstairs. We had a busted pipe. We called several plumbers, our home warranty company....etc.... apparently water coming out of your ceiling isn't an emergency for most folks. (whatever) anyway Phillip from Bill Cody called me right away and came and located the issue and also installed the 3 new faucets we had purchased. He had to cut a few large holes in my newly painted walls and ceiling but I'm happy the issue was fixed quickly, because my new wood flooring (under the leak) was being installed the next day!. Thank you guys, fast friendly service and great price!

This company was responsive and professional over the phone. They scheduled me for Friday, August 16, 2013, and said they would call before coming. They estimated it would be sometime after two in the afternoon. I waited all afternoon (until 6 p.m.), but they did not come for the appointment or call me to reschedule. I was not expecting a call over the weekend, but they also have not called today (first business day after the appointment). I guess my plumbing job wasn't big enough for this company's attention...

I called Bill Cody and Sons Plumbing and they scheduled a visit when I could meet them. They arrived promptly and diagnosed the shower drain leak. They also looked at my faucets and recommended replacement. They advised me what parts to purchase and recommended the best, cheapest and easiest way to repair the shower drain leak. We set a time for them to return and complete the work. They arrived promptly on that day and accomplished the repairs quickly. Everything went smoothly. They explained all the details where I could understand and wrote out their warranty on the receipt.

The company came out within an hour of me contacting them and completed the job same day.

Superbly it went. More than punctual they were. Leave I had to, though on they soldiered. Complete was their work long before my returning. Reasonable their price was. Great happiness ensued. Recommend them I would to all concerned.
