They were great! I had them out to look at a clog that was backing up into my shower and while they were here had them check out a couple of other quick projects along the way. There were very friendly and helpful and didn't mind me watching the repairs and asking stupid questions along the way. Seemed very knowledgeable. I started calling around about 10AM this morning to find someone; the first company I called said they wouldn't be able to come out until 5 days from now. Cody & Sons said they could be there by 4PM that day (no extra priority/emergency fees involved). My only complaint is that they weren't very forthcoming about the cost of things up-front. A friend had been quoted a few hundred bucks by another plumber to get up on the roof and snake out a pipe, so I was worried they were going to try to hit me with a $1,000 invoice at the end. The couple of times I asked how much things were going to cost they said they wouldn't really know until they got in there to see what work would be involved. I had no idea what the costs would be until the brought in the invoice at the end. Luckily, I found the overall cost very reasonable and was happy to pay it for the work they did.

Their ad says they service my town, but they emailed me to tell me they do not.

Very professional service tech. He cleaned my filters and confirmed that my system was at optimal performance. I have had a problem with the main drain clogging. He not only cleaned it out but rerouted the drain line so it would flow more easily. Great value. Will definitely use this company again!

Everyone with whom I interacted was friendly and presented themselves professionally. In my online registration, I selected Th-Mo a.m. for appointment times. I was notified, on-line, that Monday would be be soonest I could be seen. However, after reading my on-line problem submission (that I had NO AIR), the staff called twice to tell me they could come Friday by working me in. I had already left town to escape the 96° temp inside my home. I called Monday a.m. and was told that I had a window between 2 & 4 p.m. At 1:22 p.m. Tony called and said he would see me in 20 to 30 minutes. I rushed to beat him there and he arrived at 1:57, well within my grace period. He donned a pair of blue shoe covers on my front porch and went to work on the unit immediately. He found the worn relay board not long after getting started and assured me that he would complete the 21-point check which would include the outside unit as well. I was disappointed that Tony, a 14-year a/c tech veteran, could not tell me whether the relay board was point #8 or #13. He did confirm, however, that it was "somewhere in there" on the list of items. ;-) He also mentioned that I was the first person to ever ask that question. I remembered a NEST thermostat that I had purchased a couple of years ago but never installed. I asked if he had time to install the unit and he answered yes and he'd be happy to. He installed the Fan Relay Board, the NEST thermostat, finished the inside portion of the 21-point check, changed my filter, and instructed me in the cons of using a pair of filters (slowing down air flow) that was wasting energy. He checked the outside unit afterwards, hosing it down to get a good look, and then reattached my hoses just the way he found them originally. He left my NEST instruction pamphlet inside my mailbox after not getting me to the door by knocking. I found that out by calling and asking; he was still very polite in dealing with me. I am so glad to have Angie's List as a database for services and extremely pleased with my interactions with Bill Cody and Sons Plumbing, Heating and Air. My bill would have come to $239 but my Big Deal included a $50 discount if repairs were needed. I certainly would use Cody & Sons again and will continue to search for service providers with excellent reviews on Angie's List.

Phillip was punctual and thorough. He was patient in explaining what he would do. He fixed the problem- saving us from having our slab torn up by using an inventive method to repair rerouting pipes from the H2O heater to stop the leak.

Cody & Sons is our GO-TO plumber. We found them on Angie's List several years ago, and we couldn't trust our major Kitchen renovation to anyone else. Phillip is so professional and hard-working. He truly will not rest until the job is done to his high standards. Before we started, Phillip came out to review the project and he provided a very detailed estimate along with his recommendations. He disconnected everything so that we could safely proceed with demolition. When the rough-in occurred, they encountered some trouble with our existing gas line, and they worked late into the evening to resolve the issue. Installation occurred around the holidays, but Cody & sons accommodated our schedules and installed the new fixtures and appliances very carefully. The day after everything was installed, we began smelling gas and Phillip made a special trip (on a Saturday night) to investigate. (The issue was our range, not his work.) If these guys did electrical, counter tops, etc...We would have hired them to do the whole job.

First call. To cap a gas line used for gas stovetop. Second call. To search for a water leak. Did not find one. Gave me knowledgeable help on checking the sewer line.

Phil Cody came out to do the work. He and another associate (Tony) had to dig to the water line in order to install the new spout. They worked SO HARD I felt bad. It was hot outside and they had to dig for about 1.5 hours before hitting the line. The line was so complex they ended up calling out two additional guys and some specialty equipment. I was afraid the price would go up due to the additional labor but the price remained at what was quoted, which made me very happy. They were professional and funny, even joking about movies while they dug and dug. Also, they put booties on every time they came into the house. As a female it is always nerve wrecking having maintenance people come over when I'm alone, but they never gave me any concern. Thankfully the sink line was installed easily and quickly. I was so impressed I've already scheduled some A/C work for them to do next week.

The upstairs AC unit was running but not cooling so I called Cody and Sons at 8:00 am and left a message. Tony called me back 20 mins later and stated he had a job at 9:00 in the same area and he would stop by our house after he was finished. He arrived a little after 10:00. Tony offered me the option to have the upstairs unit fixed or have both inspected and then repaired as needed. He gave me the inspection prices and then told me to go to Angie's Store Front to purchase the Big Deal, saving me $30. He checked the outside units and found 1 bad capacitor and 1 weak capacitor which he replaced both of them. He then went into the attic to do the inspection of the inside units, and found no issues. Tony wore shoe covers when he entered the house and was very courteous and professional. He answered my questions about filters and what size would be best to use.

We used Bill Cody on two different occasions and were very satisfied with their work and pricing. The third time has not been a positive experience. 06/20/14 Leaky shower in the master bath. They determined the leak was from a faulty hand held shower spray which was not worth repairing. Installed new owner supplied spray and installed old one in another bathroom where it is working fine. Shower was still leaking and it was then determined that the leak was in the faucet and would have to be replaced. It was not in stock and the plumber would get back to us when it was ordered. Did not hear anything and upon calling found out that the plumber had quit and this was the first Bill Cody had heard of this. Another plumber returns to check and a few days later installs a new faucet and also replaces personal shower spray hose with another that is considerably longer and falls on floor. Still leaking. Yet another plumber returns on 07/18/14 to replace cartridge in faucet with plans to return and replace shower hose with one that is shorter. There is no longer a leak. And since he has not returned I guess we will just learn to live with a shower hose that is long enough to lay across the shower stall floor. Very disappointed with the service. No continuity, no follow-up. Many different plumbers involved. Right hand not knowing what left hand is doing.

A great job by Cody and Sons Technician Tony, He was on time, respectful of property (covered shoes before entering my home), professional, courteous, and very knowledgable. Tony talked me through each step of what he was doing and made me aware of steps which I needed to take in order to keep my AC Unit in prime condition. An additional item he helped me better understand the controls on my Gas with electric start water heater. I would definitely recommend Cody and Sons for your AC, Heating, and plumbing needs. My new plumber, AC, and heating professionals.

On time, professional, knowledgeable, friendly. I felt I got a good value for the money.

They were on time, did a very thorough job and blew out lines. He also changed filters. He found an issue that was covered by Home warranty. When that HVAC guy came, He said that the Bill Cody guy did a great job. So I am very happy.

Service was fine. Explained the reason for replacing components. Only odd thing is I paid $59.99 for first unit and $69.99 for additional unit. So I guess I should have just ordered 2 services via Angies list and got them both for $59.99.

The morning after submitting a message on Angie's List I received a message back stating that the Office Manager would contact me. The Office Manager promptly called and left a voicemail stating that the earliest someone could provide an estimate would be in a week. She then followed up her voicemail with an e-mail. I cannot speak to the price and quality of their products and services, however you may experience a delay in addressing the concern at hand due to limited capacity.

The two repairmen were on time, professional, and did a very good job. An outdoor faucet which had been leaking was removed and a new faucet installed in the ground a foot from the house. Two cutoff valve handles (one of which was broken) for incoming water to the house were replaced. In addition prior to the repairs considerable time had to be spent getting the city water cutoff at the street due to mud in the casing and problems with the city cutoff valve. Happy everything is now working. The cost was reasonable considering the work done and time required.

Called and left a message at 9AM...problem was fixed along with a 21 point inspection by 12:30. Repairman was courteous and careful.

My Mother's house had series of leaks in the copper lines under the slab. Three had been repaired (by Rotorooter) at a cost a couple of thousand dollars each. When there was a fourth leak we decided we should completely replumb the house using PEX lines in the attic. Cody&Sons came out right away on Friday and gave us an estimate and said they could start Monday. Their bid was only $100 above the lowest bid and they could start sooner, so I gave them the job. They did start right away and they called when they were going to be late starting the second day. They did a very neat and professional job. Like the other plumbers we got bids from, they didn't repair the holes they had to make in walls, but they at least had someone they recommended to do that (I had my own guy). The disruption was minimal and they threw in a few little things for free. While they were working on the plumbing, the air-conditioner developed a problem. They called their A/C guy and he came out and replaced a capacitor to fix it within the hour.

The Repairman was prompt and courteous. The cost was a little more than I had, Anticipated, But I am satisfied.

They called before the appointment to let me know that they were on their way and arrived just a little early which I was happy about. They explained and showed me where the leak was coming from and what would be required to fix it. They were professional and courteous. I have used them before in the past and they have always provided the same great service. Would definitely highly recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional and very educational along the way, showing the problems and potential problems in trying to diagnose where the leak was coming from. They not only fixed the visual problem, they insured no other problems were happening by securing and replacing other parts of the toilet. It's been two months now and no return of the leak. Great service.

The service tech was on time, quoted the job and had to go get a longer water line as the one he carried on the truck wasn't long enough. He was professional, wore booties inside the house and helped me clean behind the refrigerator. I would definitely call Bill Cody & Sons again.

It went well and they were good but they were pretty expensive. They did a good work, they were responsive, they know what to do and they have evrything with them.
