I feel like the person who came out was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to fix my system in an ample amount of time. He forgot to hook something back up but was out immediately the next morning to fix it and apologized. I will use this company again. Thank you!

Unfortunately it had to be replaced instead. We did not use this company just due to cost issues and the issues at our home. They were very professional and I would recommend them for future use and will be calling them back myself.

Cody &Sons office called to set appointment. The day of the appointment, Tony called 30-40 minutes before arriving at time scheduled. He and his assistant came in, checked unit, answered my questions, told me exactly what needed to be done and why. After giving the "okay", they did the work, explained what they did, and gave recommendations. My unit is old, and I knew it would have to be replaced soon, but Tony was able to resuscitate it, and it should live another year or so. They were personable, professional, knowledgeable, and explained what needed to be done in laymen's terms. I will definitely call Cody & Sons again for my A/C Heating problems. This is the second time I've used Angie's List, and both times have been very impressed! PS-- they even wore Pepto Bismol pink booties to protect my floors and their shoes! :-)

It went great. They were very professional. Provided me information on how to prevent the problem in the future.

The technician was wonderful. He listened to everything I had to say and what I thought about why my A/C was not working. He answered all my questions throughly. We talked about thermostat transformers and tested mine together which taught me something new. He ended up finding a connection on the electronics board that was broken and would have led to intermittent operation. He quoted me a price to replace this rather old and out of date board but didn't try to pressure me to decide right then. I ended up doing a little grinding and soldering on the board myself and fixed the problem without a new board but I understand that isn't something a business could really do for someone while guaranteeing it to work. I even had a couple questions about other A/C units in my house and he answered those as well.

The initial services were fine. However, they were called back over a 3 month period to assess a very strong sewage odor. Nothing found. The City of Dallas Water Dept. personnel, suggests their lines and alley are indeed clear. I was told to call out a plumber...I have left voice messages at Cody's 3x in the past 7 days...still no response. I just sent an email....let's see if I get a response and an explanation.

They are great. I highly recommend them. I don't call anybody else.

Call Cody pluming they came out quickly and patched the leak before any major water damage. Will use them again.

It was great. The guy did a good job. When he finished, he did charge me $85 extra but I had a drain that was clogged so he got that drain cleared. He took care of the problem. He was pleasant. I would recommend him.

I had called to have Cody come check a leaking toilet as well as check on the hot water heater as it was over 10 years old. Mike came on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. It was determined that the toilet needed to be replaced as the replacement parts would be hard to find since it was so old. I decided to then replace both toilets to the newer more water efficient models. He then checked the hot water heater and found out it was 17 years old - so well past the time it should be replaced. I was leaving town that week and they rearranged schedules to work me in. I was very appreciative of that! Everyone I worked with from the office to Mike and an assistant were very professional.

It went great. We noticed a leak and so we bought it at night and they actually responded to us with an appointment that same night that we bought it. I think that they have a relatively limited area in which they work, because they were really particular about where our house was. It was not bad, just knowing where they do business is important.

It was a good experience overall. I got several bids, and they were the lowest. The work was done on schedule, and it passed inspection first time. There were a couple of problems, but I've hired enough people to know that comes with the territory. When a problem came up, they were responsive and made appropriate adjustments without a lot of argument.

They showed up on time and completed the work.

My HVAC unit quit working. I have some experience with the technology and strongly suspected it was a capacitor used in the start up process. I found this company using Angie's List and was surprised they could come over first thing the next morning -- which they did. I was ready for the, "it's going to have to be completely replaced" story but was impressed that the tech immediately troubleshot the system down to the expected component and charged $15 for the parts. I have never seen such honesty in a repair situation and would recommend to others!!!

Phillip and Erin arrived very timely and set right to work removing the 12 year old original builder-grade junk dishwasher. They carefully removed and carried old DW out of house and hauled it away. During install of new DW, Phillip changed the old copper tubing to a much stronger, better stainless steel water line. DW install completed in a very timely less than two hours. New Kitchen Aid DW is soooo much quieter than old one and dishes are sooo much cleaner. We love our new DW. Thanks Phillip and Erin. If you need help with any plumbing requirement, just call Cody, they are the best.

Although toilets can be a clever thing, I was confident, even jubilant, when I heard that ours needed attention, but knowing how clever toilets can be, I decided to have a backup just in case and called Cody Plumbing, leaving myself a couple of days to reach out and bring my toilet on line. I disassembled and reassembled that toilet 3 times giving the parts nicknames that I cannot repeat. My last desperate hurrah at 10PM was to goop all the pieces together. Little did I know that the Toilet Industry had created new and mysterious parts. Cody came to the rescue. I commented to my wife that I should have left it to them anway and she said, " that's what I told you to do in the first place."

Tony came out on time, and was very professional. He cleaned both upstairs and downstairs units, cleaned the clogged drain line, cleaned the condensers, and thoroughly cleaned the work place. He also provided information on the units, and how long we can expect it to last. Overall we are very satisfied with his work, and we will definitely use them again.

Everything went perfect. We just got a new house and wanted all three of our AC unites checked out. They did that, were very professional and fixed everything that needed to be fixed

It was a great experience! I completed the form on Angie's list at 5 p.m. on Monday. within the hour I got a call and we booked it for 9:30 the next day. He arrived at 9 a.m. ahead of schedule. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He went right to work and was done within 30 minutes. He had the phone scan for credit cards so payment was fast and easy. I always try to spend my money in my community to support local businesses. Sometimes it is hard to find someone that is skilled, reliable, and reasonably priced. I will use them for all my future plumbing and A/C needs.

The appointment was scheduled for the same day as the service call for between 3-5 pm. The provider called and said that an earlier job had finished a little early and would it be alright if he came twenty minutes earlier than the schedule. It was acceptable and he appeared twenty minutes before 3 pm. The provider put on booties every time he entered the house from outside. He performed the work efficiently, spent about two hours working, and cleaned up completely after the work was performed (even some areas that were not his responsibility). He had the courtesy to write the filter sizes on each of the units for future reference. He was extremely polite and spoke highly of the concern of his company with their quality and integrity.

It went very well. They did an excellent job. They were super fast and very nice. They even sent me a card afterwards with a magnet card so I can easily call them again. I now have a favorite plumber. Never had that before.

Was a great experience. Very professional, friendly, and detailed. As in other posts, took care for your floors. Didn't try to sell me or find other things wrong. I was so impressed, I bought a twice a year service for both units. Would highly recommend this company.
