Absolutely fantastic! There was almost next to nothing of drywall dust to clean up. Mark was on time and very professional in understanding the work that needed to be done. He was very thorough in his work and one would not know we had any work done if they did not know about the cracks from before. Would most definitely recommend Mr. Handyman to anyone who asks and will use they again in the future.

Edgar Argueta, a certified arborist with Chippers Tree Service, came out and gave me a free estimate. I thought the estimate was reasonable and scheduled an appointment for the following week to have the work done. I was given an arrival time of between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. The four men crew showed up at 9:30 a.m. We went over all of the work to be done and they set to work. At one point, I looked outside from an upstairs window and could not believe how much they had pulled out of the backyard. Our extra wide driveway was almost completely filled before they put everything through the wood chipper. ( I knew that the backyard was overgrown but had not realized that it was that overgrown). The work was completed after approximately three hours and we did another walk through to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. The backyard was completely cleaned along the fence line and all of the stumps had been ground up. I was also happy with the pruning work, especially with the Chinese Pistachio. I will need to have the crown of that tree trimmed and thinned out a bit, again, in two years and will call Chippers Tree Service again for that job. I was able to use my 10% off coupon from Angie's List and the final bill came to $ 803.75. This was a great experience and I highly recommend Chippers Tree Service.

The person that answered the phone was very friendly and promptly scheduled a time for the owner to come out and give an estimate. I was getting several estimates so it was two weeks between when he originally came and I scheduled him to do the work. His estimate was the lowest and he impressed my husband with how knowledgeable and reasonable he was. We had a very large tree fall last winter and it was on the ground for several months. Also our backyard is very difficult to access and a long way from the curb where the city picks-up brush. So it was not a straightforward job. They came in the same week I called to schedule the work, They were able to get it all done in one hour with 4 guys. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Excellent, quick, thorough and tidy. I explained that I wanted to keep the wisteria that was growing around the scrub trees. The team was able to save most of the wisteria. I'm really appreciate Chipper Tree Service.

I received a tree removal quote from Mike who came out to look at our 90-100 year old tree inches away from our pool and fence and a few feet away from our foundation. Instead of charging us for the precarious positioned hazard he said it would take all day and therefore charge us a flat rate day fee...Chippers was one of the cheapest quoted I might add. I moved forward with the decision and emailed instructions to do so with Edgar. My appointment day was set up but I didn't know what time they would arrive, I had to ask. It was simply amazing how 3-4 men safely cut down and ground the stump to a 50 foot tall, 90 year old elm tree in the worst possible position in just a few hours. They took a lunch break and another break a bit after that and still managed to be done by 6pm. We asked if they could let us keep some firewood and of course they obliged happily. I didn't want to burden them asking for another favor but I really wanted to keep a larger chunk from the main trunk...I didn't even have to ask, Edgar offered and gave me two beautiful giant chunks from the biggest trunk part. They did amazing! No complaints here.

We purchased a tree to replace one that died from the recent drought conditions. We asked the tree farm company to recommend a stump griding company. We had used another company and were satisfied with their work, but we have never taken multiple bids. We called the company that the tree farm recommended, Chippers Tree Service, and based upon our measurements they gave an immediate quote over the phone that was significantly less expensive than the company we used last year, so we asked to book an appointment and were pleasantly surprised that they were able to come in just a few days. They called Texas811 and made all of the arrangements for the utilities to be marked. They arrived promptly (early in the time frame) on the appointed day and the work was done quickly and efficiently. The crewman asked us to come inspect the hole before he filled it up and he honored our request to loosely fill in the hole (with the dirt, but not the mulch) for safety until the tree company arrives to plant the tree in a couple of weeks since it is near a sidewalk where kids walk to school. I was very comfortable with the crewman and the work was done very well at a great price. We hope we won't lose anymore trees, but if it happens we will definitely use Chippers again.

We had a mess over a year with trees dying and replanting new trees that also died. Chippers came in and took out the old dead trees and pruned the rest of the living trees. Edgar knows SO much about trees, so I called him when the new trees started to look awful. He came out and told me that there was no need to spend any more money on the trees as they were, in fact, dead. He refused to take any money for the visit. I had him come back out to prune the rest of the trees. I will ONLY call Chippers if I need tree removal, pruning, or anything else to do with my landscaping.

Chippers Tree Service was prompt in scheduling an estimate, as well as the work. Two trees were completely removed, in a somewhat confined space, with care exercised not to harm the house, fence, or the heat pumps. The job was done correctly, and quickly. Clean-up was excellent.

When the spring storm took down three 20 year pear trees that landed inches from our neighbor' roof, I called Edgar for an estimate. It was a very busy time but when he heard how close the trees were to my neighbor's roof, he came straight away. He really listened to my requests about how I wanted the trees trimmed and I was very particular. He was prompt and so was his crew. He made sure his crew knew exactly what I wanted. They were professional and left my yard cleaner than they found it. I have recommended him to everyone I know that needs tree removal or trimming.

We had used Edgar's company previously(2010)yet had never met him.This time he came to the house and looked everything over with us. I find this a wonderful aspect of any company nowadays. He spent quality time explaining everything about the trees and shrubs. Edgar then discussed the root issue we were seeing and suggested maybe a root barrier to protect the foundation of the house. It made sense so we went for it. The work was done on the day scheduled. Edgar communicated via email before, after and a follow up a week later. The customer service was superb, the work was excellent, the communication amazing.

The service was absolutely fantastic. They were very pleasant to work with. They mentioned that I was a previous customer and if I needed mulch delivered they would provide that service at no cost. This was definitely much appreciated.

Chippers did a good job, although they a had a couple of equipment malfunctions along the way. The crew worked steady during the heat of the day. Supervision was key to job completion.

They were referred to me by my friend. They were excellent, they cleaned up and they were perfect. They took their time and even pointed out some things I needed to do, like trimming of some other trees and they trimmed those too, so they did do a little bit of extra work there. I would highly recommend them.

Edgar was very willing to work with me within the constraints of my sprinker system and utility lines to avoid damage. He and his crew worked tirelessly to complete the job even though they discovered rocks below ground level that slowed them down. They worked all day Saturday, then returned on Sunday to finish. I was very impressed with Edgar and his crew. They were very polite, ethical, and finished the job to my complete satisfaction.

Besides doing a great job in tree trimming, they always leave the yard very neat.
