Description of Work: Jeff and his crew trimmed a half dozen trees and removed one growing too close to our new house and and ground the stump. He was super duper responsive and did extras like cleaning out leaf-packed gutters without asking. I will definitely use his firm again. He is on the ball.

Description of Work: My job had a number of trees to be trimmed. Some were overhanging the next door neighbhor, plus large limbs over my own home. All work was done with skill and cleanup was excellent. Jeff was more than willing to work with my dates of service. He also walked through what need to be done with the crew so we were all on the same page. His price was fair and did a great job.

Description of Work: Jeff came and did an estimate on Sunday and did the job on Tuesday and Wednesday. He cut down a huge rotted out Pecan tree that was in a very difficult location above my garage, trimmed out two huge oak trees, cut down three other smaller trees, grinded all of the stumps he took down, trimmed out all of the other trees, and even mulched my flower beds!! they did an amazing job, and I couldnt be happier!!!! My yard looks cleaner than it did when they got here, my trees look like the Arboreteum, and I am incredibly pleased!! The price was incredibly reasonable, and Jeff takes pride in his work!! Highly recommend!!!!

Description of Work: I hired Jeff Castro and his crew to remove an old, large, unstable ,rotting tree from my side yard. He called me within about an hour of sending an email through Angie's List. I also sent an email to another highly recommended company, and no one from that company ever called me back. Jeff was doing some bids the next morning and went by my house and send me a bid as promised to remove the tree and grind the stump. Tree removal was $900 and stump grinding was $300. His crew arrived on time and started to work. Shortly after they started, they discovered a very large bee nest in the cavity of the tree. Jeff stayed in constant contact with me. The crew tried a number of things to so that they could keep working, but the bees won! The bee next was very large. Although I would love to have had the bees removed safely, it wasn't possible this time due to the unstable nature of the tree. A large limb had fallen the week before into my neighbors driveway. I knew that the bees would need to be eradicated. I immediately called someone to help with this problem so the tree removal could be resumed. I stayed in touch with Jeff. The bees were removed that same evening, and Jeff worked to redo his schedule for the remainder of the week so that he could come back and finish the job. He and his crew returned 4 days later and removed the remainder of the tree and ground the stump. They were amazing. My yard is neat and cleaned up. They were prompt, professional, and worked very hard. I would highly recommend Castro Tree Service to anyone.

Description of Work: Castro's Tree Services thinned out the trees in two yards for us and took two dead trees out of a third yard. Jeff was very kind and helpful. He came out to give the quote immediately after we called him. We agreed to a day and time and took it from there. Jeff called before he came out and his crew did a great job. They kept working from 9am to 3pm. They cleaned up after themselves very well and hauled all the branches off. Jeff and his crew were a pleasure to work with and the yards look great! We would definitely recommend Jeff Castro for any tree trimming!

Description of Work: Jeff came right out when I called to have him trim some trees that were overhanging the sidewalk. While there he gave me an estimate on the other trees in my yard. His price was fair and he did the work the next day.

Description of Work: this is the only company I contacted regarding an estimate. spoke with jeff on the phone and he asked several questions and came out the next day for an estimate. communication was excellent and they performed the work a couple of days later. the tree looked great and I consider his service an excellent value.
