Description of Work: Serviced Sub-zero refrigerator and freezer. Went very well

Description of Work: One of the burners on my KitchenAid stove was not working - it was a very easy fix - he just cleaned the gas jet out. He also checked some previous work that had been done on the stove to be sure it was done safely.

Description of Work: As the only certified servicer of Wolfe ranges our options were limited. Although the service call fee of $130 is excessive the technician was very knowledgable and did a great job.

Description of Work: They were called to repair a gas range by double checking the gas to propane conversion. A very inexperienced young man came out. He had no clue as how to fix the problem. But he did charge $70.00 for the service charge which I paid by Visa. Another man came. Was told that I needed a $300 part - then I was told no part was available and to throw out my brand new out of the box range and to get another one. My son-in-law came over, looked on you tube and fixed the problem in 6 minutes.

Description of Work: SubZero drawer refrigerators were not cooling. I suspected it was low on refrigerant. The technician, when asked, confirmed that refrigerant was low. I was expecting him to troubleshoot and fix a leak and fill it up. Instead, he said I needed a new compressor and evaporator and it would be $1,400. And he just happened to have those specific parts in his van and could have it running that day! Wow, how convenient for me. | |I asked him to leave and he did after asking for his $150 service fee. He was there for all of 15 minutes. I went to Autozone and got a can of refrigerant with a leak sealant, and a fluorescent dye that helps detect leaks. The unit has cooled perfectly now for the last 2 1/2 months. All of this cost about $50, a little bit of internet and YouTube research, and an hour of my time. | |When I sent a complaint to management, I received a snarky response in which he wanted to "educate me" about how government regulations and their own corporate policy do not allow them to "patch" leaks and that the only "trustworthy" solution is to replace the entire pressure sealed system. |If you don't want an appliance fixed but rather have all the components replaced at premium prices (I found all the parts new online for about 1/2 the price I was quoted), regardless of whether they are working or not, CW Appliance is the place for you - it's their admitted company policy.

Description of Work: My Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer needed a new fan motor. Another repaid service gave me a written estimate of $795. C & W did the job, with genuine Sub-Zero parts for $273.49 total. The service technician was professional and pleasant. He knew what he was doing. He did a really good job.
