B & C Electric

I called and left a message and Peter responded fast and came out right away to give me an estimate. He was ready to do the work then but I needed a couple days. He was very easy to reach through email or text and came out in two more days. My husband liked him so much we got him to also fix a kitchen light. Peter offered many ideas to cut cost and was smart, polite and we will definitely use him again.

Peter replaced our 100 amp panel inside a closet wall with a 200 amp panel on the outside. Rewired to the new location of the panel, and replaced wire that was rated to low to run off the breaker for my a/c unit, possibly saving me money if my a/c unit would have overloaded or shorted out. Previously, the electric line was running into the house connecting to a meter and basically held together by electric tape. The encore guys pointed this out and said they secured it with electric tape. One of the encore guys told me that if a branch hit the wire it could arc a blue spark and burn the house down. Now Peter has securely run the electric wire to the house, properly connected to the meter, with plenty of give if it somehow were torn down. I feel safer for my family and am glad to know that my appliances will not short out due to faulty wiring. He also worked with us on the price. Very nice man!

I found B&C Electric on Angie's List looking for East Dallas electricians.  Peter B. came out and gave me an estimate on all the work described above.  I chose B&C because I felt Peter understood the project the best, actively listened to my ideas regarding the projects and gave me invaluable feedback and advice as we discussed each project.  His estimate was very competitive and because Peter really understood the projects I felt as if his estimate was the closest to reality.  B&C showed the utmost respect to the property, were punctual, professional and very responsive.  Peter kept me informed and involved as each project milestone was achieved.  Great experience.

Peter was prompt, professional, thorough and quick. He was very methodical in locating and fixing the problem at the breaker box. He even repaired an outlet that wasn't even part of the original call but just came up in conversation as we were testing the breakers. It is very apparent that he really knows what he is doing. He gave me a more than fair price for coming out because it didn't take long to fix. We've known for a while that our breaker box is out of date and needs to be replaced and he gave me a very reasonable quote for doing the work. I trust him completely and will definitely be using B & C Electric again.

I used this list to find an electrician to repair damage caused by a leaning power pole that had tightened the wire bringing power to my house to such an extent that the wire had caused damage to my meter box and its housing. Peter arrived, as scheduled, at 8 am on a bitterly cold morning; the Oncor people, with whom I had confirmed an appointment to arrive at the same time, didn't get there till after 10 am (and two phone calls), by which time Peter had done half their work (disconnecting the power line) and all of his, leaving them with only the task of reconnecting power. The work went very smoothly, no thanks to Oncor, because of the skill and initiative shown by Peter, who also replaced a faulty ground wire with a new one. I found Peter to be exceptionally conscientious, responsive, and considerate. I will use him for any further electrical issues that may come up.

I purchased a new chandelier for my wife for Christmas and I wanted to install some new speakers that I had gotten. I contacted Peter before Christmas and we had agreed to touch base after Christmas. I contacted him again on the 26th and he was able to come to my house that evening and give me a quote for the work. He came back a few days later at the agreed upon time and completed the work for the price quoted as well as he looked at a few other issues that I was having that he didn't include in his initial quote but didn't charge me for. Overall it was a great experience and my wife and I both felt comfortable with him in our house, I will definitely be using Peter again.
