Arrow (formerly Sterling Pest) has taken care of our pest control needs for over 15 years. We have a very reasonable quarterly service contract with them and they either call or send a postcard to remind us to schedule a day and time for service. We have had our current technician for at least five years and, since he knows our house so well, he is very efficient and thorough in addressing any problems. He will return as often as needed if any pests appear between regular visits for no additional fee. He also checks the yard and sprays for fire ants or other critters. We have a separate termite contract with Arrow that is renewable annually.

Arrow was awarded the termite control contract by the homebuilder, Cambridge. After our general pest control vendor turned non-responsive after being unable to solve an ant problem, we inquired with Arrow. The office person was responsive, friendly and offered advice on our issue. She also provided a quote on the phone and scheduled a visit at our convenience (Saturday). The service technician, Bill Rupell, was precisely on time, dressed professionally, and very helpful diagnosing and treating a problem. The next service was scheduled at our convenience.

They are a reasonably-sized company, so they can get to you when they say they will. I was very pleased with their service. The price above is for their yearly termite inspection plan, and I have been on it for almost eight years.

The company has been bought out. The successor corporation is Arrow Exterminators. They have been terrible, non responsive, failure to get the job done, over-billing, and poor communications.

Sterlings Pest Management does a really nice job. They did an evaluation and gave me the necessary information to proceed to do the work. They were very nice technicians and they made sure that they were there on time.

We tried this company more recently because they are a little cheaper than the competition. How much you pay them depends on how long they have to work for you. They were good though and I was really impressed with their services. I would tell others to give them a try because they are punctual, courteous and they know how to prevent bugs from taking over your house.
