Response from BUDS & BLOSSOMS, INC.
"We value our customers and their opinions. [Member Name Removed] has been contacted within 24 hrs. of every email or phone call. Buds & Blossoms has open phone lines for business 6 days/week; and he has the cell phone number of the president of the company who he has freely communicated with throughout his project. The extra cost ($247.00) for additional fencing was billed, as agreed, on a time & materials basis at $35/hr. Common rate for this in our area is $50+/hr. [Member Name Removed] was given a $100 discount at the time of signing the contract; an unusual practice for Buds & Blossoms but he insisted so we complied. Throughout the project [Member Name Removed] added/subtracted from the scope of work, most of the additions were absorbed by Buds & Blossoms. The design as delivered was a $24,000.00 landscape plan, he opted to do less than $8,000.00, but in many cases wanted the infrastructure work included in the $24,000.00 quote to be included. Until now the relationship has been complimentary and satisfactory. No mention of the additional charges have been made prior to reading it on Angie's list. Most recently [Member Name Removed] asked for a quote to have us do some additional work included in the original design. Which seems odd if he was so dissatisfied. The president of Buds & Blossom has been slow to respond (difficult to get in touch with) as he has been out of the country doing mission work in the villages in the Dominican Republic, a detail that was clearly communicated with [Member Name Removed] prior to his departure. As for the sprinkler diagram, [Member Name Removed] has had a sprinkler diagram from the beginning of construction. Temporary changes were made to accommodate future work areas. These temporary locations are not typically detailed in drawings as they will be changed to conform to the final locations drawn for their specific design. We offered to show them on a drawing for his convenience at no charge, however, this is not essential to the design work done for the project. We are confused by [Member Name Removed]'s evaluation and will follow up the matter appropriately as necessary."
