Very poorly. I would never recomend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: 97.00 for showing up. Told me the part was over three hundred dollars and would have to be ordered from Dallas. Mr. Beste was as warm as an ice cube. Very unproffesional. I checked with another repair service. They showed up on time. Told me the part and labor would be 175.00 and no service call fee.

The water would trickle into the tub on the two rinse cycles. Flowed great to fill for wash cycle. It took one minute to tell me we needed a new water valve and that it would cost $184.00 total, the part was in the truck. Most likely he knew the problem before arrival because I explained it over the telephone. His wife did all the talking and was very aggressive. He never opened his mouth. It was basically either we fix it for this price or we are out of here and it will continue to take you three hours to complete a wash cycle. My husband said it was cheaper than buying a new washing machine, so go ahead. I went online and looked up the part for a cost comparison. The cost online for the part was $18.85. He was done in about 15 minutes. She handed me a invoice with no breakdown just a total of $184.00. I ask how much the part was and the labor. She ask him about the part and he said $40.00. She then tried to do the math by writing $100.00 for labor and $40.00 for the part. Naturally that didn't add up to $184.00 so she ask him if it was correct. He took the invoice and changed it to read: $100.00 - no explanation, $40.00 - part, $30.00 - labor, $14.00 - tax. At this point his wife took the tool out of his hand and put in his tool box, closed the top and said, "let's go, hurry." As they were leaving the laundry room I noticed the top of the washer above the dials was missing something and I said "wait a minute, somethings not right here". She came back over and attempted to put the corner pieces back on...on the wrong sides. He took them away from her and put them on correctly. Again she told him to hurry and they were out the front door before I could catch up with them. Mr. Beste was at one time a very friendly and honest repairman. He has been in business here for over thirty years. We knew we were being taken advantage of once I looked up the cost of the part online...at which point he already had the new valve in place. We accepted the price when quoted and felt obligated to pay it, but we know we were scammed and will never use Jim Beste again. We will also tell our friends to find a new repair man for appliances that are out of warranty as ours was.
