Took car in early for an apppt. NOTHING was done all day. The car sat unattended. I could have been using the car all day instead of being with no car. I called svc. dept. numerous times and got only a voice recorder and NO call backs. I called several times. I called the main #. The Girl answering knew nothing and when I asked for the Svc Dept Mgr. she strangely could not find him, nor the Autonation Mgr. Strangely NO ONE knew where these key people were and NO ONE knew how to get hold of them, like they have no cell phones. And of course they do. That was just more lies. This 2 hour repair cost me 2 days of time. Nothing was done on my car until the 2nd day, at which time it was done quickly in 2 hrs. They lied to me unnecessarily, ruined 2 days of my life for nothing. They are incomptetent and have no professionalism. People need to go somewhere else for good svc.

I made an appointment a week in advance to have my car serviced. You fill out on the form what you're going to have done. I got there at 8:15 which is my appointment time. Number one, usually there is somebody there to greet you when you drive your car up and then they start writing the service order. The cars were backed out from the service lane all the way to where their cars are out in the lot so finally I just went inside and set up what I needed to have done to my automobile which was to change the oil, rotate the tires, and the handle to the car door needed to be tightened up and the side view mirror was not operable. I finally got in there at 8:20. At 10:30 in the morning the service advisor tells me that they've looked at the car and in addition to those items they need to smooth off the brakes, put new pads on and side view mirror has to be ordered and they can fix the car handle but they had to put a new handle on instead of repairing it. I asked how long it would be? We live 40 miles away so in order to get there I have to drive my car in to get it fixed. He said, oh, it should be done about 12:30. 12:30 comes, 1:30 comes. Finally, I go up and I said, what's the status of the car. They're still working on it. I said okay. At 2:30 I go up, they're still working on it. I said, why are they still working on it? I brought it in at 8:20 and it's now 2:30? He said, I just gave it to a guy who's slower than everyone else. At 3:00 I went into the show room and asked for the general manager because I thought this is ridiculous. The general manager wasn't there. Who ever I spoke to went in and got the parts department director and he went into the work area and came back and said, the work is just taking longer, they should never have told you 2 hours for the work that you wanted done because of the brakes. I said. I was kind of stranded there. There wasn't a lot I could do except just wait. Finally, at 5:30 I'm still sitting there. I had gone around the building and looked in to see where my car was. I could see it up on the deal that raises the car up. Nobody was around it. I had done that several times during the day and there wasn't people working on my car, they were working on other cars. I went back and said, did the manager return? Yes he did. I said, I still haven't got my car. I've been here since 8:20. Finally, the manager came and met me and apologized and said, let me check into it. He goes into the shop and comes back and says, "I'm sorry, sir." He says, "We're converting to a a new team system where there's different teams that do the work that's needed on a car. I'll be happy to reduce your bill by a certain amount." I think it was $300 off of the bill. I said, I didn't bring this up because of the money I just wanted you to know that this system isn't working. To sit here from 8:20 to 5:15 is 8 hours at least and you could have given me a rental car or loaned me a car to drive in the interim. Nobody's offered anything. Nobody's come back to me. I always had to go to you all to find out the status. He apologized and he was glad I brought it to his attention and so forth. Finally, at a quarter to six the car was completed. I've gone to them other times but this was horrible. The problem is they are the only dealership around so I have to keep going to them.

The Dealership service department is slow but they do get things done ..the main problem I have with them is on both my trucks I had the oil changed and with both trucks they did not check the tires... it just makes me wonder what other oversights may have occurred ... none the less the dealer is still the best place to get some things done just not the simplest of service I guess...Keith.

We had to wait a couple of weeks to have the work done, but they were prepared to start promptly when the appointment date came around. The work was completed by the date promised, and it was done well. The door opens and closes properly with no binding or noise, the electronic window and door lock controls work, and the paint color was matched to our 10-year-old car well enough that the repair is not readily noticeable. They initially wanted to replace the painted pinstripes with vinyl stickers, but were willing to paint them when I asked them to do so. I cannot meaningfully address the cost of repairs since most of the cost was covered by insurance.
Description of Work: One of the doors of our car was crumpled by a hit-and-run driver in a parking lot. Champion was one of the shops suggested by our insurance company. They replaced the door and repainted the damaged area to match the rest of the car.

They initially wanted to replace the original pin-striping with tape, but agreed to repaint the pinstripes when I stated that I preferred it that way. The delay in scheduling the work was reportedly because they had a backlog of bodywork resulting from a recent hailstorm. I cannot address pricing since most of the cost was covered by insurance.

They will be the only ones I will ever use. They are the best car dealership I have ever come in contact with in my life. They told me my car would not pass inspection and I want this car to last me until I die so I had to get it fixed. I have not had a single problem with these guys. In fact, they have done work on my car and charged it up to the warranty when it wasn't actually the warranty. They have done freebies for me; you can't ask more of a dealership. It is an absolute pleasure to be doing business at this place; every time I roll in, I know in my heart that I am not going to be overbilled or have something fixed on my car that doesn't need to be fixed. They are honest and that is important. They're not cheap but I don't think they charge any more than anyone else. Their price is in-line with everyone else and everything else is above board. It speaks highly for Champion as a company.
Description of Work: My car was in the shop yesterday at Champion Chevrolet. I had an accident and I broke the exhaust manifold on my Chevy HHR.
