"Thank you for the wonderful review. Linda McClain Owner"
"Thank you so much for your wonderful review!"
"[member's name removed] I had one of my employees contact you on the telephone about this complaint, but she was told that you had not made a complaint through Angie’s List. So I would like to address your complaint here. First, you state that the original work was completed June 28, 2012, but our records indicate it was actually June 3, 2010 (our invoice #49668). We cleared a stoppage, but you called us back on June 13, 2010, when we cleared it again with no additional charge to you. Standard plumbing industry practices are to offer no warranty on drain stoppages, as we have no control over what goes in your drains. However, we were glad to clear them again since it had been only 10 days since the first visit. But [member's name removed], that was five years ago. It is unreasonable for you to suggest that your stoppage at this time is due to unsatisfactory work on our part five years ago! Obviously there are many possible causes for drain stoppages. Unfortunately, we have no record that you called us back this year to deal with another stoppage, so I cannot speak to what the cause may be. Under the circumstances, I believe that your complaint is unfair. Linda McClain"

"[Member Name Removed], I am surprised and sorry to read that you were not satisfied with our service. It is very important to me that my customers receive excellent service at a fair price. Since you feel you received neither, I appreciate the opportunity to address your complaints. The initial call for service was taken as a kitchen sink leak that needed to be repaired. It was only when the technician went out on Saturday that he discovered that there was additional work that needed to be done as part of a kitchen remodel, and that work required a permit from the City of Converse, which of course could not be acquired on a weekend. We were unable to contact Travis for several days to give us the okay to get the permit and start the work. Once we did, the work was done as efficiently as possible. The other delay seems to have been a misunderstanding between our plumber and Travis concerning the city inspection. We were told that Travis would leave the house unlocked for the inspector, but, unknown to us, he actually locked it and left a key on top of the door jamb. Since we were unable to reach him, we rescheduled the inspection for the following day. Concerning the price, we feel that the price was fair for the work done, and in fact, is less than the original bid. I hope that you get some satisfaction from my explanation. I hate that you were left with a negative impression of my company, and I would love the opportunity to work for you again and gain your confidence. Linda McClain"
"Thank you so much for giving me such a great review. The installers work hard and I will forward this wonderful review to them. Thanks again, Linda McClain"

"Thank you so much!"
Once at my house, Cory was efficient, courteous, and professional. He did the work quickly, and even took the time to look at a couple of other things for which I wanted estimates. As usual, the job was done well.
Except for the issues with the office, I am pleased with the work, as usual. I'm certain that they will attempt to be more efficient in the customer service department, and I should note that this has never happened before.
"Thank you, and sorry it took so long to get the appointment to the right department."
I have always been satisfied with their service and will call them again for the service on the units.
I have used NE for many years for water heaters, a/c issues and some other plumbing problems. They have always been fair and prompt.
"Thank you! I bet it was my son that put that in, his name is Sean. Linda McClain"
"I am so proud of my Techs, Thank you for your reviews! Linda McClain"
showed up and gave me a no-nonsense estimate. No gimmicks of discounts, etc. but simply the lowest price they were
willing to sell and install their Trane HVAC system in our house. I liked his straight talk and we have agreed on a date and time. (Mike also explained me about the energy rebate I should get. I sent the rebate application in via e-mail and surprinsingly, in a few weeks it kicked in! J )
A crew of two young people (Chris and Adam) showed up a half an hour late (not a good way to start a project) and
got to work. I offered them drinks andlunch but they told me they had their water and that they normally work through
lunch time…
Later on Mike showed up and supervised/assisted the operation for a while and then left. He told me the crew was trying to get the unit out of the attic ASAP before it got hotter as the day would progress… (Why not start the job earlier?).
One of the workers had a medical appointment and his mother came to pick him up at which time a different gentleman named Jason came by. By the end of the day they were finished. They ran the unit for about 20-30 minutes and then told me they were finished. They showed me what they did and in the meantime Jason (the guy I would call for repair or maintenance later) gave me some excellent, practical advice that would make the operation more trouble free. As they were finishing the job up, I mentioned that I’d like to have one of old grills to be replaced. Chris (I believe it was Chris) told me he’ll
mention it to Mike and he’ll get back with me.
Sure enough, Mike got back with me and we set an appt for the installation of a grill. Jason showed up and did a very professional job. Again, he gave a treasure-trove of good, useful information in reference to filters, etc. All in all, I was very
satisfied with this company.
We have used North East A/C and Heating for years and have always been satisfied...That's the reason I called them again, when our heat was not working. The technician called beforehand to let me know he was on his way. GOOD! However, once he arrived, he was on his cell phone (ear bud in his ear), the ENTIRE time. BAD! When you charge $100 per hour for your labor, I expect to receive your full attention. I did tell him that I had honestly never witnessed a service call with the tech on the phone from start to end. In fact, when I opened the door to let him back in after he had gone to pick up a new valve, he pointed to his ear and whispered and quot;I'm on the phoneand quot;. After completing the job, he loaded his truck (still on the phone), came back into the house and told the important person on the phone that he would call her later. Then he asked for money. Very unprofessional.
Additionally, I was informed of the $60.00 service fee when I scheduled the appointment. However, was a bit surprised at the $100.00 per hour labor charge on top of that. Something the scheduler might want to mention when setting the appointment.
"Hi [member name removed], I am so sorry about my Technician being on the phone. I truly hate anyone doing service work, hanging on a phone. It is horrible and very unprofessional. The Tech, Greg has been here at Northeast over 18 years. He is always friendly and very professional. When I showed him this review, he said he had an emergency call from his niece, and it will not happen again. I trust him that it will not, but it's still inexcusable and I'm sorry. Being an old customer, this coming spring, let us come out for a FREE special. We will clean and service your A/C. Thank you for being our customer, if you ever have a problem in the future call me, I will be glad to help. Linda McClain"
