The workers showed up approximately 45 minutes late. Because they did not call, my husband had to leave to take care of something. My daughter who is 18 told them which side of the house the leak was on. They came back to the door again to ask for the garage to be opened and access to the control panel. Shortly there after they left.
My husband returned home approximately 35 minutes after he left to learn they had already came and gone. There was no invoice left, there was no noticeable work done around the shut off valve.
At 5:39 I emailed and the store know that the worker had came and gone, but there was no evidence that the leak was fixed. The sprinklers had been ran, but was unclear what work had been done.
The shut off valve was continuing to leak. ( Noticeably from the elbow and under one of the shut off valves) On October 11th I had to have the bonnet & poppet replaced to fix the leak. The poppet had a cracked seal.
On the afternoon of October 12th the elbow ( which had been leaking) finally gave and I had to call a plumber.
On October 13th the plumber arrived and told me not only was it out of code ( too tall) but there were several leaks and had replace both PVC pipes coming in and going out of the shut off valve. I had to miss a day of work to deal with this.
On October 14 I received an invoice for services. I emailed back stating they did not perform the job they were called out to do and that the shut off valve had ruptured. In a few email exchanges Jo-Ann said that he fixed a wire and a leaky head and there for did what we requested. I stated again that we requested that the work on the shut off valve be fixed, nobody approved the other work. She stated that since they had fixed a leak, they did what we wanted.
I also questioned if they were licensed to work on the shut off valve. From what I was told from the plumber, not only do you have to be licensed, but you also have to have it inspected to get a certificate for code enforcement. Jo-ann said they were licensed and insured.
Until we can reach an agreement, I am not paying the trip charge or invoice. They did not repair what we called them out to do. Their lack of professionalism and negligence to do the work that we requested cost us more money and time off from work.

The guys worked quickly and left very little trace that they were there. Some of the sprinkler heads were in difficult areas ( rock beds) and they were able to move quickly and finish their work.

Gutter Cleaning
They gave me an estimate if the drainage was OK, which it was, the cost was going to be $1,950, if it wasn't then it would be $2,850. I made a deposit of $975 which was half of the estimate. We realized there was not enough bull rock and asked for them to add additional bull rock, which they did. When I was going to pay the other half of the $975, Sam, the owner, had said it was $1,206.24 and said the additional cost was due to tax. I didn't think much about it until the secretary called to complain about the review I had given them. In my previous review I said I thought the additional cost was actually due to an under estimate and not the sales tax. Had she been nice, she could have sweet talked her way through it, but she was being very rude and requesting old check numbers. I had to call my bank and then they were able to give me copies, then I did the math and realized the sales tax did not match the new total. The sales tax would have been just a couple dollars shy of 12%.
