First of all...ask Clifford how he decided upon the name of his company. That will explain the integrity and quality of work provided. Clifford is definitely the handyman you want working in your home. He is nice, experienced, and very reasonable. I am keeping his name (for sure) and sharing with my friends and family. It's so nice when you "find" someone you can trust and depend on.

Clifford was very punctual in returning my calls and in setting our appointment. He arrived exactly when he said he would and completed the task quickly and professionally. Before leaving, he made sure everything he touched was in good working order.

Scheduled and arrived on time - went through our handyman list and planned what to do.  Is willing to come back to do chores as we get light fixtures, etc.  Works on list as requested.  offers advice on how to do things.  Very helpful.

He is a great guy. I have to call him back to do some more work. He is a very nice, and respectable guy. He is extremely reasonable. I would refer them. He knows what he is doing. I have never felt like I was getting ripped off, he is very professional, he is old schooled mannered, and I just like him. His price is very reasonable. He calls you back if he missed your call, and he comes on time. I have to call him out again to put a ceiling fan.

Clifford responded to my call for service the same day and arranged to come out the next day. He did a great job for a very reasonable price. There was a little bit of trouble with a shut off connection and he promptly came to repair it at no additional charge even though it required more work. He even called to make sure everything was working fine. I am so happy to have found a great resource for house maintenance items. I will definitely be calling on him again.

Clifford looks for ways to save your money than to spend it. Its good to find someone willing to try to fix something instead of replace it. He got here when he said he would and did a good job on everything. I plan on putting in a couple of ceiling fans and Five Smooth Stones is who Im going to call. Thanks for saving the Water Heater.

He came out but he could not do what we wanted but he was very, very nice. It was for a tile work and it was kind of complicated so he recommended someone else. He was prompt and honest and I really like him. He just can't do what we need.

We could not be happier.
We had appliances delivered from Home Depot. The delivery people could not install the dishwasher because the old one was hard wired, the microwave because of a complicated mount, or the refrigerator because it was taller than our old one and couldn't fit underneath the cabinet. After researching Angie's List, I called Clifford. He was very responsive and came out to assess the situation. He was professional and seemed like a genuinely NICE guy. He quoted $150 and scheduled to come out the next week.
He trimmed the bottom of the cabinet so that the fridge fit properly. He rewired and installed the dishwasher. The microwave took much longer than expected. It was complicated and heavy (I helped him a bit during the installation), and he had to make a run to the hardware store. He was pleasant throughout despite things not going along as easily as we had hoped. Clifford was there much longer than expected, but, to my surprise, he charged the original quote.
We are THRILLED with how everything turned out and will be calling him again in the future. He charges a fair and reasonable amount, is a pleasure to have in the house, and does great work. We've already boasted about him to family members in the area. I highly recommend Five Smooth Stones.

Clifford was very nice and knowledgeable. I called him on a Thursday afternoon and he scheduled an appointment to come by the next day, he showed up on time and finished our work in one day. Will definitely use him again!!

If I could give Clifford AAA+++ I would. I'll have him back anytime to repair anything I don't want to tangle with. Very knowledgeable, showed up when he said he would, and you can tell he loves to help people. Hire him with confidence and tell all your friends to do the same. Thanks a bunch Clifford!!

I consider Clifford my first choice when I or one of my clients needs a handyman that is honest, dependable, and proficient in his trade. In this particular case my clients needed a handyman on short notice to reduce the soil levels around the garage foundation and front porch columns in order to comply with the recommendations of a home inspector. The job was done promptly, professionally, and for a reasonable cost, and it passed re-inspection without a problem. My clients and I were very satisfied. I can recommend Clifford wholeheartedly in any of the fields of expertise that he offers service.

I telephoned Mr. Barnett with the intention of replacing the entire kitchen faucet fixture. However, when Mr. Barnett came by my home to give me an estimate (the very same day of my call to him), he said he could just change the sprayer head. I was elated that I would not have to buy an expensive kitchen faucet. He said he would find a matching part and return the next morning to install it. It made me very happy to save money and get great service @ the same time. That is rare today. I was very pleased to have found Mr. Barnett, who is very reliable, in my area.

Mr. Barnett is great! He is very friendly and personable. We needed a plumber to turn the gas off while we had new floors put in. Mr. Barnett answered when I called and was ready to get the job done. The floors took longer that expected; however, Mr. Barnett worked around our schedule and came back to turn the gas on when we were ready; with no complaints. My husband and I are extremely pleased with Mr. Barnett's services and will definitely request him again in the future...matter of fact, I've already told him we will be giving him a call this summer when we decide to get more work done in our kitchen :). I highly recommend his services.
