"Thank you [member name removed] it was a pleasure doing business with you. I have emailed Adrian to tell him thanks for the referral, and I sent him some goodies in the mail that he is going to really like! But next time you talk to him would you please let him know That I will be doing a site inspection at your property at the end of October to check on things, and if he is needing anything else that I will be in your area. Again I tried to contact him by phone a few times but it goes to voicemail. I'm sure he is busy so I just left a message this last time. It would be great to get in touch again!"
"This is a rediculous claim. Your posting something on Angie's list after 2 years? Is there a law that I am breaking that says I can not work on Sunday? If I didn't have tools, who's tools did we use? I certainly did not use your tools? I installed one addition to your sprinkler system yet you claim 2 zones don't work? How in the world was my work sloppy? Please elaborate on this did we leave trenches unburied? Did we just throw the grass around? Are your trees we planted crooked? I remember fine tuning your yard every step of the way, I am huge on details and cleanliness upon completion and I made sure you had none of these issues. Where are you coming from and what is your angle to complain after 2 years? Why haven't you contacted us to say you had a problem sometime within that first year? We are available 7 days a week, remember we work most Sundays. Unlike most landscape companies, I have a secretary at the office from 7-5 so I know you would have had a quick response had you called us during the week. I think your post is unfair. Your accusations are here say and you never gave us a chance to demonstrate our responsive side to our work. Had your sprinkler system given you any trouble after we installed it, I honestly think you would have called and said something, and had we not done anything which certainly wouldn't have been the case, then you should have written your review. You saw that I am getting bashed and so you jumped on the band wagon. I will be calling all of my clients and asking them to post their positive experiences to balance the scale. It's a shame that people attack the livelyhood of someone, over something so small and don't consider themselves at any way responsible for their frustration. My company is an honest company, I employ people to address concerns and do the job right the first time. We all pay our taxes and I carry every insurance imaginable. You took the easy way of not doing anything about anything, and you took satisfaction 2 years later of trying to settle some score. I apologize that this has weighed so heavy on you for so long. Feel free to contact me or one of my representatives so that we can work this out professionally."
"(Member name removed), I am sorry you feel the way you do. I have never made any attempt to avoid you in any way. I would like to start off by stating the facts: When I took on your job, I worked diligently with yourself and your husband to make sure that you got the best irrigation system on the market. The materials, from the wire we used to the clock and brand names on the heads themselves were all top of the line. When we began working on your property, we worked through heavy rain, and even hail. We worked from sun up past sun down relentlessly, some of the sod that was laid was not acceptable to our terms and we replaced it without question, and without you even having to bring it to our attention. As for communication, I have never avoided you. I have always returned a phone call promptly when asked to be spoken too. I run a very demanding business and I am not a direct point of contact in my operations. You shouldn't take offense to dealing with a secretary or my foremans. Had you asked for me to call you back, I would have gladly done so. When you asked for someone to come out and make modifications to your system after the warranty had expired and they were late or did not show up, why didn't you notify us? I would have comped the service or offered a discount or something to help balance the scales of your frustration. Could you please express more thoroughly what you had done to fix your system as you point out in your review? I don't believe that this was something we were at fault for, but you say it as if we were. You also live on a hill, and it is common for heads to leak at the bottom of your hill as water bleeds from the pipes due to gravity. I know we explained this too you but you probably think it was hocus pocus, when actually it is not. It's a fact. We bought and added check valves to the lower heads to help remedy this problem post installation. When you put a check valve on a head at the bottom it slows down the bleed because it takes longer for the pipe to fill up before bleeding at the next head at the next highest point. Solution? Add another check valve. Do we install check valves during the initial installation? No because it is not economical to charge a great deal for something that is not necessarily going to be a problem. Had we added check valves to all 100+ heads in your lawn, you would have been quoted a price for installation that you would have laughed at. It is not common practice to do this. Last of all, you live way out of our territory and you knew this when we began the work. This was never a problem for us. The reason I bring this up is because you complain that we were late or didn't show up. Now I know if we are running late or don't show up for any reason that our customers are notified as soon as we know this is going to happen. You live 30 miles out of our territory. You don't live around any other vendors either. We made it a point to notify you upon knowledge we were going to be late. What more can you expect? Is it right for you to speak so distastefully of our company? I don't think it is. I would still like to do whatever I can to make this right for you. I apologize for the bad taste we left in your mouth, we do not like to see any of our customers unhappy, ever."
"I met (member name removed) through The Woodlands Chamber of commerce. We were both members there. (member name removed) was interested in working for my company as a business consulting coach. I began to entertain the offer and in the interim he had asked me to have my company service his property. Approximately a month later during interviewing, it came down to (member name removed) getting the job, or another representative who used to manage a large portfolio with Bio. We ended up choosing the gentleman with bio for obvious reasons. At that point in time, (member name removed) would never pay on time, rather his payments would run 2 to 3 months behind. He would get confused as the lack in payments would stack up so far beyond reason that he began to have doubts if he even owed for the service or not. Had (member name removed) paid regularly or even on a monthly basis, it would have been very simple for both parties to keep records of payment history and resolve any problems without the significant lapse in time between payment to skew ones judgment. (member name removed) has an agenda with posting his complaint on Angie's list. (member name removed) would call my secretary and hang her up on the phone for long periods of time and tell her she was stupid, and verbally abuse my employee's with belittling statements. (member name removed) got services waived very regularly, to the point that we waived the last billing amount we owed him of $80.00 and he became the first customer in the history of our business to tell him we can no longer service his property. We have never told a client since 2006 that we can no longer do business for them. (member name removed) is a crook. It is because he was insulted by us asking him to find another service provider and the fact that we didn't hire him to work for our company that he made this post. It was not due to the type of service he received. If you look at other vendors on Angie's list that he has reported on you will see a trend of vengeance. He has an "I'll show them" attitude."
