"Good day Mr. T. This is Kevin Calcote, the owner of Shade Shield. I attempted to contact you after receiving this review. I went through our communication logs in our computer system to see where the break-down in communication occurred. Please see below. July 13- Received inquiry July 13- Office Manager spoke to Mrs. S and scheduled Quote for July 16. July 16- Mrs. S canceled Quote Appointment. July 22- The office Manager did a follow-up call to reschedule. Mrs. S said she would call when she was ready to reschedule. July 27- The office Manager did a follow-up call to reschedule. Left Message. July 27- Mrs. S returned our call. Rescheduled Quote for July 30. July 30- Salesperson performed Quote & Measurements. July 31- You left a message about the quote. I am not sure what happened during this time frame, but I will accept responsibility for the delay in contacting you back. Aug 13- You and I spoke. You said you wanted to move forward with the order. I emailed you the Agreement for your review and signature. I confirmed the order with you and ran the credit card for the deposit. Aug 13- I placed the order. Sept 14- The order was ready. (I apologize for the delay. It usually takes about 14 business days 2 ½ weeks for production.) Turned out that the screen shop who makes our screens was way behind on production. We should have communicated this to both you and the renter sooner. Sept 18- Installer spoke to Mrs. S and scheduled the install for Sept 24th per her request. Sept 24- Screens were installed. When the installer asked for payment, Mrs. S said the owner had paid with a credit card. Oct 1- The office Manager had left a message for Mrs. S about the balance. The office Manager was unaware that Mr. T was the one paying for the job. Oct 10- Mrs. S called and said two screens were missing on the left side of the home. Oct 12- I looked at the Agreement and our Measurement Page and it showed that the left screen measurements had not been taken. I left a message for the salesperson to check on the issue. Oct 20- I followed up with the salesperson again to check on the status of the two screens. He responded back saying that she did not want them. Oct 28- We ran the credit card on file for the balance. Oct 29- I spoke to Mrs. S. She said she was still missing the 2 screens. I explained to her that it appeared that she had not wanted them done since there were no measurements for them. She also mentioned that the owner was not happy that we ran his credit card. I asked her to check with Mr. T to see if he wanted the two screens done and if he would like for us to credit his credit card back the balance we charged until we figured out the issue with the two screens. I asked her to call me back with his response. Nov 10- I had just noticed that there was a review written. It appears it was written on Nov 4 but was not approved until Nov 10. Nov 10- I called Mr. T immediately and left a message to find out what happened and how we could make him a happy customer. I never heard back from Mrs. S (renter). Unfortunately, there were some communication breakdowns during this process on both sides. If given a chance, I would like to speak with Mr. T to see what can be done to better satisfy his buying experience."
