Perfect, the craftsmanship is excellent. The crew arrived on time each day and the job was completed on schedule. The crew cleaned up and disposed of all residue from the worksite.

He was very professional. I just didn't go with him I went with a another company. His bid was very close to theirs. I called him because he was on Angie's List and he did some work from some friends who are really picky and they thought he did a good job. He seemed very knowledgeable, called like he said he would.

It went great. Within three days the deck was built and JR threw in a seating bench. All professionally done.

JR and his crew did excellent work. The quality of construction is solid and the appearance is outstanding.

The build was professional from start to finish. JR is always punctual. He provided good design ideas and quickly grasped what we wanted to achieve. JR offered us Fortress Rail's which we've owned before and are very durable. He also offered higher end composite products with excellent warranty (although untested of course). His crews were competent and tried hard to please. They left a clean worksite at the end of each day and at job completion. JR is articulate, pleasant to deal with and in my opinion a very ethical business man. We are very pleased with the outcome and it's easy to see why he has such strong Angie List ratings. We would use him again.

Crews were efficient, courteous and policed the site so I never found any cigarette butts. JR was accepting of requested changes which were performed efficiently and reasonably priced. They cooperated well with other subcontractors working in the construction area to allow for efficient completion of work that wasn't in their contract. Everything went very smoothly.

J R and I met a month before the services were performed. We walked the yard, he listened to our plans, and took that home with him. The very next morning, I received a very uniquely designed deck plan in my email from J R. It was exactly what we were looking for. The install went perfect. His crew and foreman, Mike, were onsite daily, on time, and worked diligently through the entire day to complete the deck quickly while maintained a high standard of quality. The completed deck is a beautiful dark brown composite wood deck. While he was at it, we had all of the railing replaced, including the rail that originally came with the house. The uniform look is great, but it did add to the cost. The deck, without the extra rail work, would have been ~$2000 less, but it was well worth the expense. We've had 2 minor issues since they finished, and both times J R and Mike returned promptly, repaired the issues, and left with everything resolved and no new charges. J R's professionalism and attention to detail are commendable and far exceeded my expectations.

Met with JR and went over our vision for the deck. He gave us options and his input on materials. The quote came in a timely manner and we decided to go with the composite deck material. JR's crew showed up on time and put in long days to get the project done. Everyone was professional, kept the job site clean, and did an excellent job. If you decide to go with JR you will pay for a top quality product and that is exactly what you get. The fit and finish of the deck, and the total experience exceeded our expectations.

I would definitely recommend JR Custom Decks! JR was very patient with us as we were indecisive and not ready to commit right away. We are so thankful that we selected JR and his team to complete our vision. We were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of all of his employees, their timeliness, and their willingness to work hard and fast!

JR showed up on time assessed my needs and said he would get a quote sent to my email soon. Three days later, the "price" arrived however, there was absolutely no work detail included with the price. This raises red flags for me. I would not recommend this guy... Seems interested in making an easy buck while sacrificing customer service...

My initial contact was leaving a message on website for a callback. It was a Sunday afternoon and fully expected that I would not get a call back until Monday. How wrong I was! Mr. Reyna responded within an hour and I was impressed. From that point forward thru the completion of the deck, Mr. Reyna continued to impress with excellent workmanship by he and his team and great customer service. I wanted a different design for my railings and he came back with some great options. I also went with a composite floor and cedar/wire railings. I got more than I expected and love my deck. 5 stars to Jose Reyna and his great team!!

This project turned out to be the best decision we ever made. J.R. and his team  were on time every day, and worked their butts off to get the deck built as quickly as possible. Their workmanship, communication and professionalism was excellent!

The finished deck is breath-taking and rock solid. Simply beautiful. We are very, very pleased with the quality and design of our new deck. No matter where you walk on the deck it has a rock solid feel. We bought great furniture to compliment the great deck design and enjoy getting out of the house quite often now. Our guests are quite impressed with the new deck.

After the work was done J.R. followed up with tips and recommendations for solar lighting and left a sample for us to evaluate. That's the kind of honest salesmanship and support I expect from an expert.

After looking through all the providers, we settled for JR because of Angie's reviews and his website showed beautiful decks. We were not disappointed. The work was completed quickly and professionally. The crew he had arrived early to the job site and worked consistently throughout the day. Took short breaks but then got right back to work. The end result was a beautiful finished product that we will enjoy for years to come.

We had four companies out to our house for bids. Out of the other three I only received a quote from 1 of them. The other two never sent me a quote and were very flaky.....despite being "A" rated companies here on the site. Then came JR. He came over right away after I called. He's a no BS kind of guy. He totally understood what we wanted and even gave great advice. He didn't give us the whole "tell me what you want" followed by a blank stare. He was very helpful during the in-home visit. He followed up with a quote that was less than the one I had already received, while having 6x6 posts and low voltage lighting in addition. I was ready to proceed and he started 3 days later after giving him the go ahead. It took 3 days to construct and on the 4th day (all as promised), someone came by to pick up all the trash. His team did an excellent job and really paid attention to detail. Not all material is created equal, I am very happy with the grade of Cedar he used on my deck. If you want someone that does great work at a great price and will shoot you straight, go with JR.

JR was very nice to stop by, at a moments call, when I asked to get an estimate for some work I wanted done in the back yard. When I finally decided on what I wanted, JR came up with a plan, we agreed on Tuesday, he dropped of materials Wednesday, he and his crew came an completed the work Thursday. Even though the deck wasn't that big, I am very grateful that they were able to complete what we planned on before noon so my family could enjoy the rest of the day.

JR was punctual and his crew was always here when they said they would be.  The workmanship and quality of my cedar deck is top-notch and very well done.  It looks great.  JR was able to work with my design idea drawings and turn it into a beautiful cedar deck with rails and steps along the back of my house.  I would recommend JRs Custom Decks to anyone. 

Construction started on time and the crew was really courteous and clean. All leftovers were taken out and crew did an impressive job cleaning after the job was done. The deck exceeded our expectations.

From start to finish, JR was prompt and professional. I initially called to discuss the project but had to put the deck on hold for a couple of months. JR was very organized and actually called us back on schedule to continue the project. He came out, surveyed the site and provided plans per our discussion. An additional hiccup was that the HOA didn't approve the plans (type of project, not build related), so we went back to the drawing board and modified things per their feedback. Throughout all of this, JR was very helpful and always prompt/on time. Construction was quick and he handled the required inspections. I think the job was well done at a good price. We're very happy and would recommend JR's work.
