This is the second project we had Eric and his crew do. Of course they did a spectacular job once more.They removed our weeds/grass and put down 8 yards of composted dirt, replaced our sprinklers and laid 3 pallets of palmetto st augustine. 1 month later it looks beautiful!!

Eric and Jose are very qualified professionals that were able to offer many suggestions to enhance my front and back yard projects. Easy to work with and offered solutions that stayed within budget. Appreciated they were never rushed and very conscientious about cleaning up after project completed. Highly recommend this very talented team. You won’t be disappointed.

They were amazing! This is actually my second time using this company. Easy to work with, very attentive, and very clean. I was surprised at how clean they were everyday after working all day. We had new grass installed with a nice flagstone walkway next to our drive way. New plants planted alone the walk up to my doorway. Really gave my home some curb appeal! Again, work was excellent and Eric really does pay attention to detail. I highly recommend this company for your next project. We will definitely be calling them back for our fall project.

I am placing this review as a placeholder for the essay I am writing about my experience.

We needed landscaping for our newly built house. My experience with Alamo City Scapes was excellent. It was a huge job, and it looks amazing. Eric and his team were wonderful to work with, and communicated well. I always felt involved in the process, which I really appreciated. I felt blessed to find a group of people I trusted so much and they exceeded my expectations with the work that was done.

I was initially very pleased with the completed work. However, within 6 months of work completed, the concrete on the 21 foot-long stone stairs, 2 stone planter beds, and 5 chop stone and concrete rings were all experiencing large cracks and were unstable. Detailed photos of the problems were sent to Eric Gonzalez. A worker was sent out to patch the concrete. Within the following six months, all of patches were broken, flagstone was loose and dangerous on the stairs, and the planters were falling apart. New photos were sent detailing the conditions. The same worker came out and stated they would completely tear down the work and rebuild. Efforts to get the manager and crew out to repair the work have been fruitless and Eric Gonzalez no longer responds to me call or messages.

We got a hold of three companies. Eric the owner of Alamo CIty Scapes got back to me very quickly. We needed this done right away considering it was a safety issue with the other equipment on the lot. He got me the estimate back the same day and was able to begin the project that monday. They got here within 4 days started and finished a day earlier then originally thought. Great quality clean up and Superb customer service. I will definitely be using them in the future if and when needed.

From the very beginning Eric was great! He was always responsive and had excellent communication skills. When the work started to begin the guys were very professional and worked extremely hard. Eric made this entire process easy and ALWAYS provided excellent customer service. City scapes absolutely earned my business for all future landscaping needs. Filled in the swampy area and dug out the proper grade out to the street. Placed good dirt and sod and smoothed out lawn, almost looks like nothing happened there.

We got multiple companies to quote us for redoing our backyard after it had several areas that were complete mud. After all of our quotes, we knew we wanted Eric with Alamo City Scapes to do our yard without a doubt - he was professional, timely (many other companies tried to come at random or were very late), and had the best price. However, we initially decided due to budgeting to wait until next fall to do the project. Then, after a few more months, budgets changed, and we asked Eric if he could fit us in sooner. He was responsive and got us in as soon as he could, working with our vacation and work schedules, and the job was done promptly. He even came by himself to finish the project on a Saturday and watered for us as well. I am very happy with the work Eric and his team did and would hire them again.

Eric and his crew always does a great job. The quotes come quickly and in about a week after accepting the quote you’ll know when he can fit you in. He always takes any feedback or questions and makes sure the job is done completely to your liking. We’ve also used Alamo City Scapes on a previous property where they completely redid our landscaping. It was a big job and the results were exactly as we hoped. Every time we compare quotes with 2 others, but the price is always right and we’re always pleased with the outcome. They’ve earned our continued business moving forward.

The design was outstanding, shrubs was a perfect fit for our other landscaping, however, three of the plants are not growing as well as expected, lots of brown leaves. I have attempted to contact Eric several times in past month with no response. Eric did a fantastic job, I just need to hear from him.

Eric, the owner, is very easy to work with. We are so impressed, we will have him back to do more work for us. Jose, Carlos, and Jerry were here every day and worked their fannies off in the heat. Such sweet guys, happy, accommodating, take the time to answer questions and do quality work. Very respectful. We hope when we have Eric do work for us again soon, he will send this crew! Our yard is beautiful and the stone path they did is eye catching! Would highly recommend this company and this crew.

They said it would take 2.5 days. It didn’t! They were done in 1.5 days. They did an excellent job. We are very happy with the grass job. We even added some other landscaping projects which were done professionally as well. I will hire them again.

The landscape project went very well. We had landscaping done in the front and back yards. Eric designed a good landscape plan. He and his crew were friendly and professional and their work was of high quality. We are very pleased with the finished job. So me and the wife decided for a fence.. I was calling around, then thought let me ask Eric since We like doing business with this company! The estimate was very reasonable but the fact that I trust this company I had them do my cedar fence plus clean up beds and re-mulch… Not surprised everything came out fantastic! they really know a lot about fences for a landscape company! Quality work again..

Eric’s crew worked hard and efficiently. They took pride in their work and cleaned up when they were finished. They took it upon themselves to prep a drainage path for river rock to be brought in by another company and even hauled in additional, natural stone from behind my fence line to edge this area. They rerouted some irrigation lines and added line if necessary. Very polite and nice men!

Had Eric and his crew come back again, my wife and I really love their rock work, the patio I had them do is holding up very well, this time we had them do a fire pit for us and three benches very professional, I wasn’t expecting them to use fire brick on the inside came out better than expected I can’t say enough about this company other than I highly recommend them for landscaping and Masonary work! I will be using them on my rental home as well! Again Jose and the crew were very respectful and pleasant to work with.

I had a large amount of soil and weeds on the side of my house that I needed removed and replaced with river rock and a flagstone path to aid in drainage. I called multiple landscape services, but Eric at Also City Scapes was the only who called back, and even scheduled to come out to provide an estimate the next day. He arrived on time, gave a fair price, and I agreed to have him do the work. He said that his crew was currently working on a large project, but might be able to fit me in between projects the following week, if not it would be the week after. A week later, I called to see if they would be able to start that week. Eric told me that the project he was currently working on had some changes that required additional work, and his crew wouldn't be able to start on my project until the next week. I was not in a rush, and he did not guarantee that first start date, so I told him it was no problem at all. A week later, I called again and left a voice mail asking if his crew would still be able to make it that week. I did not receive a call back. A week later, I called again and spoke to Eric. He said that his team would be able to start my project the next Wednesday. I told him that was fine, but I wanted to confirm that it would definitely be Wednesday, as the promised start date had been pushed back multiple times already. He confirmed that it would definitely be Wednesday. The following Wednesday, I received a text from Eric, saying that his crew would be there Thursday to start the work. On Thursday, his crew arrived mid-day and cleared the dirt and weeds from the side of the house. They returned on Friday to dig the path leading from the driveway to the gate on the side of the house, and lay the materials. An orange cable from the internet service provider had been partially exposed a few feet way from the house for about a one foot length ever since I moved in. Unfortunately, the landscaping crew cut into the cable and we lost internet to the house. Fortunately, Spectrum was able to come out late in the day to run a new cable. I was glad to have all the dirt gone from the side of my house, and pleased with the quality of the work. I was not in a hurry, and I know it was a busy time of year, but I would have preferred to been promised a start date a month away and have the date met the first time, rather than repeatedly been promised earlier dates and that were not met.

They arrive when scheduled and completed the job within two days and left area clean and yard undisturbed. Very happy with the plan design, finished project and found the owner Eric easy to work with along with friendly pleasant workers.
