I notified my salesman who pushed us off on his manager. His manager didn't do anything but say that he would arrange we wouldn't have the same drivers next time when they come out to give us replacements for the clearly cracked and chipped table and punchtured faux leather chairs. We were told we would have an early delievery for the corrections to be made. This past Th, July 10, we got a call telling us that our delievery window is from 12-4. Are you kiddding me? What happened to the early delivery. I had spoken to Corporate on Friday because they had called me based on my facebook post. I told corporate I was tired of dealing with this and to refund it. So when no one showed up on Saturday to either hopefully pick up the damaged merchandise . I half expected to for them to deliver the replacements and force us to keep the dining room set. No one showed. I waited all day on my only day off and no one called, no one showed. I'm shocked that people do business and stay in business doing these things. I notified that manager, but it always comes back to me "as it's not my fault" I have no control over delivery. I have to call the warehouse manager, don't you know how many delieveries we have on Saturdays?" It's not up to me to know that. Its up to me as a consumer and a customer to be happy with a product that is undamaged. They are so un ethical. They are so used to dealing with mess ups and irate consumers, they really don't know who you are. There is no follow through. In addition when you call the store to ask for the manager, you are told he is in a meeting. Then ...her name starts with a "D" Danielle, I think, she leaves you on hold for 30 minutes. I call back and then ask for my sales rep who puts his tail between his legs and states, let me get my manager. Guess what he is there! just hiding. Slimy, Slimy. I cannot believe these people are still in business in this economy.
Description of Work: We purchased a dining room which was delivered in damaged condition. The drivers continued to set it up damaged, and then ran to their truck with my husband chasing after them and the response: "Sorry dude, you signed for it, There's nothing I can do" You deal with it. and then they drove off.

Description of Work: I purchased a couch with a chase from Rooms to Go in July of 2011. I started calling them them the end of March 2012. The couch has a guarantee of 1 year. I noticed that the couch part has a hard lump, so I called customer service. Their tec. came out mentioned there was a spring that had popped. Got some batting and stuffed the batting into the couch. Put it back together and told me to try that for a couple of days, which is silly since I do not sit on the edge of the couch, so called customer service again. The 2nd tec. came out took the back off of the couch looked at it, put it back together and left. Customer service called me and said that the first tec. said he fixed the problem, NOT. The second tec. did nothing. Oh, also Customer service lady told me it was due to wear and tear. Now remember I have only had the couch for 10 months and we are not overweight. Also, no one has sat on the couch part. I sit on the chase part of the couch and when my husband is here he sits in his recliner. So now I call the store where I purchased it and speek to a manager. The manager calls corporate. Corporate calls me and ask that I take pictures and email them to corporate. I take several pictures of a dark brown couch to try to show the lump that is now in my couch, lol. Oh, and since this all started they have known I am moving out of state the end of the month, (now in less that 1 week).And ofcourse Room to Go has know this bit of information also. I own a business that is customer service related and I promice you I have never treated my customers this way. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM "ROOMS TO GO" EVER AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE, THEIR GUARANTEE IS AT THEIR CHOICE.

They made it right but it was a major pain in the rear end.

Waited one month for it to come in and then arrived damaged. Company agreed to replace damage unit and that took an additional two weeks. Arrived with another damaged unit so we refused it. Should be another 2-3 weeks for a replacement (third time is a charm right?). Store did not follow up on delivery. We had to keep calling them. After appointment was made it was never communicated at the store so nobody showed up. Had to make another appointment.
