John and his crew did a fantastic job building out our new screened in patio. He and his crew were communicative, quick, and did quality work!

The whole experience was fast and efficient, from initial contact to the final touch of paint. John was very quick in answering the texts, Mario and his partner amazingly nimble and skillful. There was hardly and disruption and the cleanup was completed promptly.

The design of the patio cover and garden rock edging came out exactly as we expected. Great quality work overall in all areas of the project. We are very happy with our new patio.

Capital did a fantastic job on our new porch. John was great the entire time and very responsive. We communicated what we wanted done, and he knew right away and had a great idea. They took an empty old slab in our backyard, and turn it into a fantastic fully covered back patio. Would definitely recommend.

John and his crew did a tremendous job installing new siding around the entire house and building a patio covering. John transformed an unusable slab on concrete into a beautiful outdoor seating area. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and timeliness. The project only took about 4 weeks from quote to completion. I highly recommend using John for any outdoor projects.

Capital Construction did a great job on the deck. There was a slight miscommunication regarding which rails to replace which left the crew short of materials but it was worked out quickly and the job was finished ahead of the promised time.

Captial Construction Services lacks integrity and has no quality control. I unfortunatley made the mistake of hiring them to add a porch cover to my home. I was fooled by all the positive reviews. One of those 5 star reviews is from the owner, John McCormick. Makes you wonder about all the other 5 star reviews. I had to be the quality control for the entire project. At no point did Mr. McCormick take responsibility. Every mistake made was someone else's fault. Here are some highlights: 1) Mr. McCormick promised contruction would start in two weeks, take two weeks to complete. They did not start for two months and construction took a month. There were no weather delays here, only excuses. 2) Mr. McCormick convinced me to expand my 10' limestone flagstone porch to 12', saying he could make it look just like the existing porch. The extension was poured, he then refused to install limestone flagstone, claiming he didn't remember agreeing to that. 3) The structural inspection FAILED TWICE. They actually screwed the cover into the 2x4s that are meant to hold up the soffit. 4) Roof installed incorrectly. It leaked. Additionally, the false gable installed looked nothing like the examples provided, rather something one would expect to see in Whoville. Mr. McCormick told me I'd have to pay extra for them to fix it, then pulled a 180 and fixed it after Cedar Park Inspectors confirmed the roof install was bad. 5) They tried to get away with installing 12' tongue and groove boards in 16' space. 6) None of the stain or paint colors matched, despite providing the exact colors needed. 7) Two crews worked on this project. The first crew might as well have been day laborers, demonstrating lack of experience and no attention to detail. Not to mention smoking cigarettes and drinking beer in my yard. After everything got really messed up a second crew was brought in. They were better and did the best with the mess they had to work with. At the end of it all, I ended up with an OK looking porch cover. Not great, not terrible, just OK. If I didn't intervene constantly it would have been terrible. Considering the cost, this cover should have been perfect. And I still need to find someone to lay the flagstone.

We received several quotes, Capital provided a competitive quote for the job and were very professional. There were 2 teams that visited our house. First completed the concrete patio extension and the other was for the patio cover. Both teams were professional and kept the workspace clean. We were very happy our new patio and plan to use them again for the next phase of our backyard.

Having moved to Georgetown from Ohio only two months ago and having never dealt with an HOA, we relied on reviews for a direction. We contacted Capital Construction Services setting up an appointment to view our property. John McCormick was friendly, prompt, and very helpful advising us. He answered every question and outlined next steps if we wanted their services. We were texted multiple times including pictures of color choices, and design options. John took care of the application to the HOA. When the building day arrived, the team that came was on time-so diligent in working and cleaning up any leftover material. They were friendly when we asked questions. John arrived during this time to look over the progress. Our deck was completely finished in 2 days! The whole project was completed 2 weeks earlier than the timeline suggested. We were not only very pleased with the whole process that we recommended Capital Construction Services to our friends including multiple pictures. From experience, we recommend this company and John McCormick without any hesitation fully confident that any project they undertake will be completed with exemplary results.

Hector Rubio was first to respond to my request for work. He had the job completed with in a few days. He did a great job, worked hard, and then did additional work for us on short notice. Highly recommend him!

It was fantastic! John was always responsive, gave an amazingly competitive quote, came in on budget, and finished the entire project in about 3 weeks. The completed project looks amazing and blew our expectations out of the water. John was communicative and helpful the whole time. It was a fantastic experience.

Of all the bids and proposals received, Capital Construction Services made the most sense and was competitive. It was clear they were well-versed and experienced. The job as a whole went very smoothly. Whenever we had concerns or questions, John listened and answered. One area of the deck was painted a different color that we were not expecting. Even though this caused a bit of delay, when we expressed the concern, John had his crew update it to match the rest of the deck quickly. We would definitely work with them again.

John and Sommer at Capital Construction Services are simply awesome. John met me immediately after I reached out, and had a quote back to me within a week. A few details of my project required that John's crews get creative, and they attacked the problems with ease. The quality of the stairs work is exceptional. Naturally, the existing deck wasn't exactly straight or square, and the vertical drop landed at a very strange height (i.e. it wasn't easy to make the steps land correctly). The resulting product is clean, simple, and extremely strong. Bottom line, I got exactly what I needed, with great communication from the project teams, at really high levels of quality.
