Description of Work: Cleaned out motor of vacuum cleaner but failed to clean the filter. The canister was jammed when I got it back and nearly impossible to open. The belts were barely attached and came off the first time I used the "repaired" vacuum. I was told that the work would be done within two weeks; after TWO MONTHS I finally drove to the shop and told them I wanted my vacuum back. I was really disappointed in the service. They don't like to service vortex vacuums and would be better off simply stating which brands they DO work on. The lovely couple who own Barron's is elderly and should likely allow the next generation take over. It's not a small town anymore and the shop needs to become more of a real business providing real service with accountability.

 + -1 moreIt was done immediately before Boyd had back surgery, and he just didn't do a good job. It never worked. I was looking to get the self propelled feature on the vacuum repaired, but it didn't work, and I didn't want any hassle, so I didn't go back. I thought the price would have been reasonable if it had worked.
Description of Work: I had a vacuum that needed repairs, and the repair just wasn't very adequate.

 + -1 moreCyndy is very knowledgeable about vacuums which was helpful because I haven't shopped for a vacuum in 10 years. She demonstrated the vacuums in the store and explained the various features on different levels of vacuums. She wanted to be sure I purchased the vacuum that was right for my house and lifestyle. Barron's is very customer oriented. The Miele vacuum is very quiet and easy to use. I'm very pleased with my selection of brand and model.

I visited her at her store, and she spent over 2 hours explaining and demonstrating the features of Miele vacuum cleaners---the best vacuum cleaners every made! I purchased a Miele Gemini canister with the attachments I need to best clean our flooringl Cyndy considers me to be a customer and quot;for lifeand quot; and she is always available to answer any questions I have. The customer service at Barron's Vacuum Cleaner is outstanding! I am thrilled with my new Miele vacuum cleaner! This product is made to last 20+ years, so the price was worth it!

 + -1 moreI was in a situation where I really needed to have it serviced. He was on his way to North Carolina to visit a relative but he still came to service the vacuum. They didn't overcharge me at all. I felt the price was very reasonable. I would go out of my way to go there.
