Had them do an inspection on a 15 yr old furnace. We agreed it was badly in need of replacement. They gave me an excellent quote on a new system, spent time checking all of the duct work and made the old one disappear. High marks for professional attitude, prompt work and very competitive pricing. Highly recommend the folks there.

I couldn't ask for a better customer experience that that which Autumn Heating and Cooling provides. Their employees are efficient, courteous and knowledgable. The representative arrived on time and gave me a call 15 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain line from the AC and cleared the line of accumulated algae in less than a minute. He also provided input that pouring 1 cup of household bleach in the line once a month would help r***** algae buildup and blockages. He also checked my Freon levels and didn't even charge me for a service call. I have never had a bad or even mediocre experience with Autumn Heating and Cooling and would recommend to anyone without reservation.

The split-system A/C in my house quit working on a recent Wednesday afternoon. I noticed ice in the furnace closet as well as on the condenser; there should have been nothing. I changed the filter - which didn't look terribly dirty - waited a while and hoped for the best. That didn't fix it. It was getting late in the day so I checked Angie's List for help. Autumn Heating & Cooling was not my first choice, but they were the only A/C company answering the phone! A technician was dispatched right away. Soon after arrival he determined that I had a Freon leak. He decided it was in the coil but couldn't be sure because it was encased in ice. It had to defrost, and that was going to take several hours. As it was already past 4 PM, he said he'd be back early the next day. And he was, just before 8 AM on Thursday, in fact. He found the source of the leak and advised me to replace the coil. I agreed - how could I not? - and he wrote up the order. Unfortunately, the coil could not actually be replaced until noon the next day. As promised, two other technicians arrived on time the next day, Friday, replaced the defective coil, replaced the missing Freon and hauled off the old leaky coil. Several hours later, the house cooled down to a comfortable temperature.

This was a great experience. They installed it quickly. Though there were a couple of problems at first, they came back and fixed it at not additional cost. They responded quickly and they communicated with us very well. They came on time and were very diligent towards their work. I will consider using this company again in the future.

A really nice salesman came out. He showed us all sorts of different options that ranged from as simple as just fixing the part or replacing the part that was broken. It was very pricey. When I realized it would cost $1500, I even had somebody else come out to the house. I also talked to a couple of other companies about replacing the whole system since it was going to cost me that much, so I could get the tax credit. Autumn had done my wife?s parents? air conditioner in an old township, and that is how I found out about them. Their prices were lower than anybody else, but not tremendously low. They came out 3 days later and did the work. Two guys came in and were done installing the new system in 2-3 hours. They were pretty nice guys, and they didn?t tear up my house. The system works really well. I think I got a really good value for the dollar from them. I have enjoyed their service very much the first time, so I will have them do some duct work in our 10-year old house in the future.

I don't have any break-down issues that they haven't anticipated. They were very prompt and got my house cooled down within 8 hours when we needed them the first time and they have been good since then too.

I called on a Saturday morning (you don't get to pick when these things happen), and they answered quickly. I told them the story, and he put me on his schedule for mid-afternoon. The schedule time came and went... I finally got a call making excuses for being late (which I can understand; I can't understand not calling, though), He said he was on the way, and would arrive in 30 minutes or so. 30 minutes came and went... finally, I got another call saying he was tied up, but would still make it. Eventually, I got a call canceling (which I was expecting, by then), due to the fact that a light rain had started to fall, and he couldn't work in the rain. I could see that for with *major* work, or even *major* rain... but this was a simple Freon recharge in a light rain. If it had been his house, he'd have had no problem doing it, I'm certain. He was unfailing polite... just unreliable. Bottom line, don't say you're going to be able to do something if you're not going to actually do it. I doubt very much that I'll give this company another chance. The only reason I called them in the first place was because the former owner of my house had used them, apparently. I infer this from the large number of orange "Autumn Heating & Cooling" stickers that the company slapped all over all the equipment. I hope they asked before they did that... But even if they did, isn't one sticker on a single piece of equipment enough?? Apparently not.

A/C stopped cooling (one zone). Our usual service company was booked out a week. I called Autumn H&C in the morniing. A tech arrived the next morning and diagnosed a shorted compressor and fan motor. Their price was reasonable and they had a new unit up and running by 3:30. Courteous and efficient techs. I'm satisfied.

They were courteous and thorough. They did the work in a day, and made it clear to us that we were a priority. Three times I've called them and three times they've responded within a day. Twice they've responded within a couple of hours.
