"I would like to help resolve the issues that you experienced with our company, but you didn't provide much detail. This is the information that I have gathered from the employees, calls, truck logs, and emails that you have sent in. Our records show that you scheduled tile cleaning online. When you scheduled online, we have instructions that explain how our scheduling takes place. When you didn't agree with the time that we gave you, we quickly changed it and moved you up to the first appointment of the day, and from everything I can tell we arrived well within the time window that was given. Even your email came in before the arrival window had passed. Your email complaint explains more a problem with the technician that was sent out and the pricing that was quoted when he arrived. From your email you wrote: "....He quoted me over $600 to clean and strip the tile. I was thinking about paying that but I wanted a 10X10 dining room cleaned to include in the price and he said it was an additonal $100. Very very disappointed with you Technician...." I am sorry that we couldn't come to an agreement on what the services should have cost, but we did leave with no cost or obligation to you. Again, it is unfortunate that we were unable to perform your service. Just know that at Zerorez, we try to differentiate ourselves from the industry with great customer service and no surprises. If we make a mistake we strive to quickly correct it."

As the carpet dried, I noticed some streaking in the high traffic area that we couldn't see earlier (not and quot;spotsand quot; which I agreed not to treat and could come back (and some did and some didn't)); they're most noticeable with the natural light streaming in vs. the overhead lighting.
When I noted it, I called them back that night and got their machine (about 5pm on the the 22nd). I didn't hear from them so I called them back again on Saturday the 25th about 11am (knowing they work on Sat as the original order taker wanted to set me up for a Sat appt but I wasn't available).
So, I left 2 messages with all my call back info and still have not received a call back. Sadly, the job overall is very good and much better than the other commercial vendors I've used but I'm dissatisfied with their response and total lack of follow-up (the other guys have always called me back within 72 hours to see if I had issues, needed a touch-up, etc).
So while I give them a B or better for their job/work overall, I give them an F for responsiveness/followup which I assign as a critical part of the overall score that drags it down to a C- or worse in my book.
I will not be calling them again if this is the type of customer service I can expect.
Its too bad too...I had high hopes for them due to advertised method of cleaning and glowing/over-the-top recommendations from a local morning radio DJ (and quot;you'll be a raving fanand quot;) who I have to remind myself, is getting compensated for the Zerorez ads on his station.
The quality, punctuality, and professionalism are all related to the tech himself.
The price, responsiveness, and overall are measures of the company.

OK, I'm always glad to stand corrected, especially when I benefit from it! ;-)
I had written the above after not receiving (IMHO) the proper f/u after leaving 2 calls with Zerorez for some touchup work.
Almost a month to the day after the initial treatment, I get a very nice email from their Operations Manager Mark who apologized profusely for not getting back w/me after my trying to contact them. We don't know what happened other than I somehow fell thru the cracks, but Mark was more than willing to make up for it. The crew just left this morning from the touchup and it looks GREAT. Took them about 20-25 minutes and they actually did a much larger area than the small area I asked them to retreat. Mark also offered a concession due to the overall experience which I gratefully accepted.
I have to say that this is more along the lines of what I expected the first time around due to their spots on the local radio (and the raving fan DJ) and just talking with the phone rep that setup my appointment and even looking in here (AL).
Therefore, I am revising my initial grade of C to now an A and their responsiveness from an F to an A as well.
I think they're a good value, the carpet looks better now than it did when we move in back in '03, and I will certainly call them again when it's time (I really like the no chemicals as I have a 20 month old and he lives on the carpet as you know).
KUDOS to Zerorez for changing an unpleasant experience to a great one...nice job Mark and team.

I didn’t have any problem with them. They were on time and nice. They were professional and really good. They got the job done and they left. They don’t use detergents at all. It is zero residue and so your carpets stay cleaner and longer.

"I apologize for the misunderstandings and the issues that you have had. After looking into your claims there are some things to clarify: Your service was initially in October of 2007, and you had us back out in February of 2008. Now...being so long ago (almost 3 years), I don't understand why you are just now reporting the issue. Had it been sooner to the time of service, we probably could have and would have done something for you. Now, I only have invoices to look at, but it appears that on your second visit we cleaned 3 rooms for you and an additional rug at no charge. Which for $100 really is a wonderful price. Regardless here is some information regarding stains. A majority of residential carpet is made out of nylon. Nylon is wonderful for many different things, but it is prone to staining. Virtually every piece of nylon carpet that leaves a mill today, has a stain protectant on the carpet. If you are to read the warranties on the carpet, it is usually recommended that the protectant is reapplied every 12-24 months. Now a stain protectant is not fool-proof. It only provides a window of opportunity to clean up the stain. Depending on the source, its temperature, its pH, and a number of other variables, that may not be long at all. Once a stain gets into the dye sites of the fibers your carpet is damaged - sometimes you can reverse it - sometimes you can't. Unfortunately, accidents happen. We wish they wouldn't, but they do. Had we caused the accident - we would have fixed it at our cost. Our main focus is on creating raving fans - and I wish that somehow we could have rectified this problem 3 years ago when it initially happened so that you too would be a raving fan."

"I'm extremely sorry for the inconvenience and misunderstanding that occurred during your service visit. I've been trying to understand from your remarks and from our office why this was handled this way. In short, you will be getting a refund on the 2 additional rooms of pet treatment. At Zerorez, we have a strict policy that all pricing is discussed and approved prior to commencing work to avoid ANY surprises. If there is a surprise, the extra services would be taken off the invoice and provided at no charge (Our Price Guarantee). It is clear that our technician violated this policy and we should not have hesitated in reversing the charges. We have spoken with our customer service agents and "retrained" on our guarantees and procedures, reminded all of our technicians of this policy and that we take it seriously, and we have actually had to let our technician that serviced you go for continually violating this and other policies. Again, I am extremely sorry for the headache and hassle you have gone through. I know it is the last thing you want to worry about when having someone perform service in your home. Once again, you will be getting the 2 rooms of pet treatment refunded and the $50 in gift certificates in hopes that we can service you again in the future."
