Our place was struck by lightning which knocked out our tv, among other things. The repairman diagnosed our tv and told us that it wasn't worth trying to repair. He was very timely, affordable, and helpful. I would highly recommend this company.

I described the problems affecting my TV over the phone, and the technician knew exactly what the problem was. He knew exactly what part was broken and exactly how much it was going to cost. He advised me to just buy a new TV because the cost of repairing it was about the same as a new TV of the same make/model/size. So, I didn't end up "using" this company, but the information they provided was honest and useful, and they did not try to come look at the TV or charge me anything.

Gary with York TV repaired a 55" Samsung LED TV that had been damaged by lightening. I called Gary on Thursday and he was able to make it out to my home the next day. He was early but called first to make sure I was OK if he arrived before the scheduled appointment, which I greatly appreciated. He quickly evaluated the damage and explained that he knew of at least one part that needed to be replaced and explained that there could be additional damage that he couldn't evaluate with a visual inspection. He provided me with the cost to repair that one item and asked if I wanted him to proceed. I did and luckily that did the trick. No additional issues were found and he was able to successfully repair the TV for less than $100! This was wonderful news to me since this TV was only a year old and cost $1200 when I purchased it. The in-home repair service is extremely convenient and well worth the price. I highly recommend Gary and York TV!!!

The provider was very punctual, and took care to make sure and satisfy all of our questions. The provider was able to quickly identify the issue, communicate it and come up with a plan to repair. Very straightforward and easy.
