We sent pictures in early August to Andrew's to generate the quote. Originally, we quoted just reupholster of the furniture. We chose and provided the upholstery. We elected to drop the furniture off ourselves. We completed the drop on Saturday, which is lightly staffed. My wife and I carried the furniture in as their were no staff on hand to do it for us, which wasn't a concern. After dropping off, we updated our order to refinish the wood as well.
The work took about 6 weeks, consistent with our quote. We paid $50 to have the furniture delivered to our house. The result was amazing; the furniture looked better than when it was new.
We plan to use Andrew's again soon to make some pillows for the couch and re-stuff the seating for our living room furniture.
"This client was concerned about his chair rocking too far back. The price we had originally given him was because at first glance it appeared that the fame was loose from the springs. We specifically told him that it was not just loose from the frame and it was not something that could be fixed because it had to do with the springs being worn out. He told our receptionist that he wanted someone else in our company to review it because he felt that the first guy didn't know what he was talking about. I reviewed the chair myself and came to the same conclusion. We do not deal with mechanisms as they are nearly impossible to find for replacement. There was nothing that we could do for this client and I find is disappointing that he felt the need to leave a negative review. Simon Owner"
