The service tech arrived about two hours after we called for assistance. He quickly determined that the master spring had broken. He had replacement parts available with him, and the repair was completed in 30-45 minutes. Our garage door works fine now. We were very impressed with the company's responsiveness and the tech's professionalism. The price of $360.00 includes $65.00 for an optional extended parts warranty which we purchased; otherwise the price for the repair would have been $295.00.

Great job, and did not try to sell me something I didn't need. The last tune up I had several years ago by a competitor, O'Brien, who said if I didn't replace rollers for over $200, the garage door would soon stop opening/closing. Texas Overhead Door said rollers were still good, and would cost $85 to replace when needed.

One of my Torsion springs broke on my garage door Sunday night, 06/25/17 I also had American Home Shield Insurance which I later cancelled, I was assigned a company but when "Flash Garage door Service" called I was told the Insurance covered my garage door opener components and parts only. They told me It would cost me around $300 plus to replace one spring and around $500 for both springs can't say what I told them, but that's when I looked on Angie's list and found this company after calling several other places. I called TEXAS OVERHEAD DOOR around 9am and was told they could have someone out between 10am and 11am "Mike"called to let know he was on his way, Mike was right on time, and got to work extremely fast. From the time he arrived he took less than 25 minutes to replace both torsion springs, completely lubricate garage door and all working parts, inspect rollers tighten all screws and bolts. I highly recommend this company. I had estimates ranging from $399 up to $600 Dollars They quoted me a price of $299.00 they also gave me a senior or Military discount not sure which, that lowered the price to $230.00 + tax total spent $241.00 a big thank you to to this company, will pass the word around.

Long time 10+ year customer, called Texas Overhead door to replace broken torsion spring.  When repairman showed up, he stated the fee was $300 for a 1 year warranty and $360 for a 3 year warranty for installing the same spring.  The price sounded high to me, but he was already there and I told him to go ahead an repair it which took around 30 minutes.  After he left I did some shopping around to local business's and found I could get the same job done for around $200 at multiple places. The retail price of the springs is under $100, plus the standard service charge of $89, total bill should have been below $200.  Called Texas Overhead Door and spoke to Patti, who told me that pricing had been in effect since Jan and refused to adjust the price.  The lesson is that even a long time company you have done business with 10+ years is capable of price gouging, always shop around and ask for a quote ahead of time.

They did a great job. They always do a great job. They did something to the other garage door for free in addition. They provide quick service, reasonable prices. They're very kind. I haven't had any issues.

This might have been the second time we have used them. I remember that they were more than willing to do whatever we needed to make us happy and satisfied with their job. We have not had any issues with the door since the repair.

They are an absolutely excellent company. They are personable and knowledgeable. They did a great job. They came right out and they were not pushy. They just did exactly what we wanted in a very short time, and the gentleman was very pleasant. I cannot find no fault with these people at all.

It was great. It wasn't very much. It wasn't a big job. They showed up on time and they did the job in the timeframe that they said they would. They didn't try to charge us for anything extra. They charged us exactly for what they were going to.

They were very nice. The price wasn't near what I thought it was going to be. It was very reasonable. They didn't try to talk me into doing something I didn't need to do. I would definitely use them again. It was just kind of sticking and so they came out and said everything is okay, he just lubed it up and kind of cleaned it of and that's it. We did talk about what the cost would be if I decided to replace it and he had not come ever since. It was refreshing to say the least. I was very pleased. I have a sticker on the door and if I need them again, I'd give them a call. They came when they said they're going to come. They were very nice.

They're excellent. In fact, they've done work for me twice. I think they had to replace my original garage door opener because it was just wore out. There's no dislike or anything. I was happy with the way they treated me. This was when they originally put in the deal; they reprogrammed the garage opener. When the springs broke, they took care of us and this was during a time when Cleveland had a bunch of tornadoes and stuff; there was a lot of work out there but they took care of us. They had a lot of work to do in Cleveland but they went ahead and took care of us. I really didn't shop around, I just wanted to use who I've used before.
