To be honest, its just a window. While I know there are different types and styles of windows, you can get them anywhere, but what you don't always get anywhere you go is good service. I never realized how much of a commitment and investment windows are to your home. Not only was Mike informative about the world of windows, he was happy to share his experience and expertise without being pushy or trying to rush the process. We were able to move at our pace in the decision-making process. Plus in the end we were pleased with the final product and install - the guys were very mindful and considerate as they moved through our home and even made sure to clean up after themselves. I know without a doubt we would use Mike again and will happily refer him to others.

Our house was built in 1952 and still had the original wood frame with thin glass windows. 13 of them. So we knew we had some shopping around to do. We had several estimates with several sales pitches and pressures. We chose Windows of Texas for our replacement windows because of their professional, no-pressure sales team, competitive pricing, and product quality. Mike Vinez was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about his products and was very helpful in our decision process. We are extremely happy with our new windows and would recommend Windows of Texas to everyone.

Owner went out his way to make it easy for me. He brought a demo window at the initial quote, showing myself and my husband how it worked and what our options were. He explained under what conditions it would be worth it to spend more on certain models of windows, and what conditions we might not want to. He gave detailed quotes and provided the forms required by the homeowner's association to approve front-facing windows. When design had to be altered to comply with HOA requirements, it was done quickly and windows were ordered promptly. As soon as windows came in, he called to schedule an installment date and was able to get them in really soon. They took care of the application for the building permit required by the city and dealt with a lot of headaches involved with automated telephone systems and mis-information. It helped a lot to not have to sort through that and have it done for me. Installers were pleasant, professional and very capable. They were friendly and chatted with me from time to time, but didn't slow down on their work. They did every step including removing the old windows, weatherstripping, etc. and installing new weatherproofing material and sealing them. There were gaps in the old windows where ants were getting through, and there's absolutely no gaps in the new windows. They put down toweling to prevent any broken glass and protect our furniture. When I saw how much work was involved in taking out the old windows, I got worried about potential broken glass because I walk in bare feet a lot and I have a small dog who isn't bright enough to realize broken glass isn't edible. But there wasn't any glass anywhere on the floor. I should also note that some of the windows were behind some crape myrtle and they didn't damage them at all when installing. They cleaned up after themselves and were done within the promised time range - actually about an hour early. The price was competitive and the windows have been great. Looking forward to saving money on energy-efficient windows and no more air leaks. Highly recommended!

We have used Windows of Texas on three separate occasions. First time last summer we had all the windows on the 2nd floor replaced. We were so pleased with the pricing, service, delivery and installation we called them again to replace the downstairs windows. At that time the sales person made suggestions on 2 large windows that saved us money and have a more pleasing appearance. The final installation were to replace the last 2 bathroom windows. The house is an older home and the windows have cut our utilities and added an updated look to our home. A bonus came during a thunderstorm when after replacing our windows we realized how much outside noise was reduced. I highly recommend this company. We interviewed many window companies before make a final selection.

Our house has more than 20 large, over sized windows and they were able to install all of them in the same day. The windows were all very clean when we got home, and the installation was seamless. They even replaced the bottom portion of the exterior window frame because it was rotten, which we would never have noticed due to it's location. We were also very pleased with the price, which was much less than other windows we'd looked in to. Our heating/cooling bills have gone down considerably, and because they are easy to use we actually use our windows now. Overall we're really happy with this decision, and I think ultimately wish we'd done this sooner.

Very poor communication. We started this project in May and this order was to ship in full and sales person promised delivery of windows within 3-4 weeks. The estimated delivery date came and went without any contact them. We initiated many telephone calls requesting information regarding the windows shipment and we were only given excuses and apologizes. It took 3 shipments to get the order complete and the front picture window came in the wrong size, had to be re-ordered and was finally installed first week of September. What was promised 4 weeks actually took 4 months.
