Perfect. Geoffry provided great details over the phone on my initial call. He came and reviewed the work and made a few other suggestions related to other trees in my yard. He completed the work quickly, professionaly and his crew picked up every little leaf and branch just in time before a down pour. I highly recommend this team for your needs.

He didn't call back at first, so we had to re-call him for the estimate. When he arrived, he gave a competitive estimate.

I spoke with Geoffry on the morning of the 29th, he stopped by that evening to look at the job, we made an appointment for the next day and by the time I got home the job was done and cleaned up like it had never happened. It was great to have such a professional take care of the situation that was actually a real danger. I wasn't home to see the work done but my neighbor was and she had him come by at his earliest convenience to remove a much smaller tree and you couldn't even tell it had been there. Will definitely utilize the service again and would highly recommend.

I called Mr. Steiner on Friday April 19 and he came out the same day and gave me an estimate I was very happy with. He sent a 2 man crew out on Tuesday April 23. The crew were exceptional. They were very professional and efficient. They cut down the tree to the stump (per my request) and hauled everything off. They also cleaned up as they went including the roof, gutters and back porch. I would definately use this company again.

.The crew of four, Including Geoff arived about 8:50. We set the priority as the trees over the house, the power lines, and the largest tree east of the house. Geoff takes pains to point out that parasitic growth hackberry trees must be cut last and the tools cleaned before moving on to the next tree. They had at least two equipment problems with saws that required a trip for service or parts. This may of cost them 1-2 man hours.They made up for this by extend the day from 5 to 6pm, and by working extremely hard the last two hours, especially on clean up. I had at least twelve trees that could of been worked on but the seven trees were a full days work for the four man crew. The job was professionally done. The cuts were made clean and properly. The overall appearance has improved the look, value and safety of the property. There is at least another days work that can be done. I will be calling Geoff again.

We are adding a solar panel system to our SouthWest facing roof (already have one on our SouthEast facing roof) and needed someone to professionally trim the tops of large trees close to the house. Goeffry Steiner and his crew also thouroughly trimmed and shaped a large Red Oak in our front yard (not part of the original job, but really makes our place look nicer) and cleaned out several smaller trees along the creek in our back yard. I called the top 5 rated tree trimmers from Angie's List that are within 10 miles of our home and scheduled 5 appointments to have them look at our trees and give us an estimate. Steiner was the second appointment scheduled. After talking to "G", hearing his suggestions and learning a wealth of information about the trees and the vegitation in our yard, my wife and I decided on the spot to give him the job. "G" lives only a couple of miles from us and has an extensive knowledge about the trees and native plants in this local area. His estimate was very close to the first one we already had and it included much more specialized and valuable tree work than I had initially expected to purchase. All this extra value for the same price as the lesser work that was estimated by the first company. I then called the other companies and cancelled the remaining unneeded appointments for estimates. Steiner and his crew showed up on time and spent the entire day in and around our trees. They trim large trees by actually climbing up into the trees using ropes and harneses to reach the high branches and to make clean cuts. They had to lower most of the large branches using ropes and tackle to avoid damaging landscape and structures below. They did a perfect job. Their equipment was well maintained and super sharp. Even their hand saws on extended poles went through the hard oak wood like it was soft pine. I sat on my roof and pointed out the branches in the large trees that needed to be removed in order to allow the sun to reach the new solar panels. They then accurately removed those exact branches at the best location for overall tree health. I trusted them to take good care of our trees and they did. They generated a huge amount of limbs and oak wood and cleaned it all up,so that when they were gone, there was no trace that anything had happened here that day. We will be sure to call Steiner Tree Service next time we need our trees trimmed!

I called this company based on reviews on Angies list. Called several others and had to wait days for an estimate. When I called Geofry he was on a job but said he could give me an estimate as soon as job was done same day.Showed up as promised. He spent about an hour with me walking around the property talking in detail what would be done to remove the trees and heavy trimming and shaping of others. End result is great job, the very old trees that worked on look great.Hard to remove trees are gone.Good cleanup. Would and will use again.

The Live Oak had been blocking the view of our home from the street, rubbing against the roof and blocking the sun on the lawn under the tree causing the grass to die out. The result of their efforts was a dramatic improvement to the curb appeal of our home. I had no idea that trimming a tree could make so much difference. Well done Goeffrey. Highly recommended.

I have a small yard with a lot of trees. I have difficulty growing grass in the backyard becuase of this and wanted to remove a couple to help provide more light. I called the company on a Saturday and he was available to come out the same day to provide me a quote. He was very knowlegable and pleasant. He quickly assessed my yard and my requests. He offered some guidance on which trees would be best to removed. He and his crew arrived promptly on Monday and started to work. They spent the entire day at my house. The work was great and the cleanup was exceptional. I was most surprised with the Live Oak that he trimmed in my front yard. This tree had never been pruned and was my least favorite of all of the trees. He took his time and examined the structure of the tree, removing the limbs that would help shape the tree. It is now one of my favorite trees.

Geoffrey and his crew showed up on time at the mutually agreed time and performed all services as promised in the written estimate. I call some other tree service businesses and they were all competitive in the price. But what set this company apart was the great customer service. I'm in the process of cleaning up and lanscaping my home. After my initial inquiry, Geoffrey came to my home a few hours later, gave me the estimate for the work on the tree alone, and gave an estimate for tree combined with the pruning service. He spent about an hour with me describing and identifying all the trees in my yard and explained the "how's and why's" of trimming and pruning and gave some wonderful tips and ideas of lanscaping my yard. As one who knows nothing about trees, this was helpful! I highly recommend Steiner Saw Service.

Mr. Steiner came out to give me an estimate the same day that I called him (12/3/2012). We walked around the yard and discussed what trees would be trimmed and that one would be cut down. He told me that it would take two third's of a day for the trimming and cleanup. I told him on the innitial call that I was an Angie's List member and was impressed by the good reviews his company had received. The original estimate was $865.00. Mr. Steiner was supposed to be on sight, but wasn't except for a short time during lunch. The two man crew did an excellent job trimming and cleaning up. Upon completion of the job, one of the men called Mr. Steiner to see if I should write out the check to be delivered to him. I reminded him of the 10% discount for Angie's List members, but that my printer wasn't working to print out the coupon. He said he would not charge me the sale's tax and so the total would be $825.00. I wasn't going to quibble about it. He also said he wasn't there due to a death in the family. I couldn't stay in town very long due to a family illness and really appreciated the fast and professional service. The crew did an excellent job and I would use them again, but make sure that I got the coupon printed out before calling.

They did a pretty good job with the holly bushes. I had thought they were going to take the bushes by the fence out completely, but some were interwoven in my chainlink fence. They said that it would have destroyed my fence to remove those; however, I think that they could have taken more of that out than they did. It would have just taken them a lot of time to get that work completed. They did stay with the price that they had quoted me.

We got a quote from this company and it was low, so we made an appointment to have a tree removed within the next couple weeks. We then never heard from him, called multiple times and eventually his voicemail was full. We then thought, well maybe there was a family emergency or something. Slacking, we never got any more estimates and a woman from his company called back about a month later, saying she had been hired to help him get organized. Not impressed, but we left a message that said, sure he can come since we didn't ever have it done. Never heard from her again and now her voicemail is full. Needless to say, we are done with the unprofessionalism.

Mr. Steiner came out with the crew, so there was no problem of working with someone that I couldn't understand or couldn't understand me. Mr. Steiner displayed his knowledge of trees. He told me about the type of tree that lost the branch (Hackberry), and what was sometimes made from this type of tree. I had asked him if he could cut firewood for me when I inquired about the job, and he had said yes. I asked him after the job if it had been done and he told me that the wood was not in the right condition to be used for firewood, showing his knowledge of his work. Mr. Steiner was very nice. He answered my initial call while on another job. He didn't get right back to me, but after I sent one text he answered me and came right out. I think that he is really busy because he does a good job. They did a great job of cleaning everything up. I was able to use my Angie's List coupon.

It went great, the crew spent two days with a crew of five.

I used Geoff last year to trim the trees close to my house and which were above the roof line. He did a great job. I called him back this year to do the same to the trees on the outer peremter of the yard and over the pool. Geoff answered on the first call. We discussed price and then he followed back with me to discuss the time that they could come out. The team showed up as promised, did a great job on the trees, and halled away all the debris. I have used them two years in a row and will call them again when I need my trees cut back. These guys know what they are doing and my trees look beautiful.

First call to Geof was in Dec. 2011. I have made I think about 6 calls since then. He did come out about 3 months ago and gave me a quote which I was happy with. He said he would be doing work in the neighborhood soon. Well I saw him 4 doors down after that doing some work, so I figured he would be doing ours also. He did not. I called him after that, left a msg. He never called back. I called him a few times after that and left msg, no response. I'm not positive about how many calls I've made, the last call I left msg and asked to call me and at least tell me my he did not want to trim my trees. My wife saw his crew on the next block a few weeks ago and asked his worker to call us. NO response. Calling other tree trimers now.

I left a voice mail on Sept 14 and never received a call back. I decided to call again on Sept 26 and left another voice mail. On Sept 27, Geoffrey finally called back and left me a voice mail asking me to either call him back or send details to his email address which he gave me. Since I was at work, I decided to just send him an email with the request for an estimate on removal of my 25 yr old silver maple in the back yard that was slowly dying; it was hit hard by the drought last year. It is now Oct 5, and I have not heard from him. I left another voice mail 2 or 3 days ago and have heard nothing. I'm sure this is a very busy time for tree service, but at least respond in a timely manner. I would not use this company.

He did great work. My only complaint comes from a lack of communication. We had received a notice that we were in violation of city ordinance and would be ticketed if the tree was not trimmed by a certain date. The work was scheduled to be done the day before the city was due out to review the street. Due to several wet days (understandable) he got behind. He did not call to tell us he was behind. We had to call him when he did not show up as planned. However, when we did reach out to him, he not only came the next day, he called the city himself to inform them of the delay, and that we had arranged for him to do the work but he was the reason it was not done. He showed up the next day and the work was done beautifully. I would gladly hire him again, knowing that if it rains I might need to be proactive in reaching out to him regarding his scheduled arrival.

No complaints about the service provided. All trees were trimmed and branches were removed.

The owner answered the phone on my initial call, set an appointment to come out and look at two pine trees I wanted removed from my front yard, and gave me a quote right after seeing them. After speaking with a couple other services and my wife, we decided to go with Steiner. I called him the next day (Friday), he answered the phone and we agreed he would check the schedule and get me on it. He called the the following day (Saturday) and left a message saying he would be out Monday to cut the trees down. I came home from lunch on Monday to see the progress...two unwanted pines trees were still standing in the yard. I called Mr, Steiner to verify they were still planning on coming out to cut the trees down. I left a message asking that very thing. I came home about 7 PM that evening...two unwanted pines trees were STILL standing in the yard. I called Mr, Steiner to see if somehow we got our communications crossed. I had to leave another message. I held out hope that they would come Tuesday to cut the trees...but alas...two unwanted pines trees were STILL standing in the yard Tuesday when I got home. UPDATE Thursday 8-16-2012 Here's an update. Owner called me back this morning and had some issues with his phone. It went through the chipper. We also had a storm in the area that had him working overtime. He apologized and explained his situation. He also said they could be out first thing in the morning to take down my trees.I try to be an understanding person and agreed. Will leave another update with the results. UPDATE Monday 8-20-2012 They were out first thing Friday morning as promised. Cut the trees down and the stump guy came out the same day to get rid of the stumps. (I was pleasantly suprised because originally the stump guy was going to come out the day after.) The clewan was great and the trees are gone! I'm very happy with the work and would certainly use this company again. Also i have already passed their name and number on to two other people who could use their service.

Geoffry worked smoothly with us and our tenant, did a great job, and he will be our first call next time we need tree service. Can't be beat !!
