Roy Milam Painting

The primary goal was to fix a very poorly done paint job on cabinetry and woodwork. Everything was done quickly and with care plus very little after- mess. The cabinets and wall woodwork are now beautiful, both to see and touch.

Everything went well!  He came out sight unseen as I was a repeat customer and the job was far away.  He recognized when he and the crew showed up the morning of the job was a little larger than what he had captured in the pictures, but he made sure to communicate with me the additional expenses and assured me that the work would get done in the quickest and most economical way without losing the quality and performance.  The crew did wonderful!

Absolutely the best paint job I have ever had.

The painting was done in a timely manner, seemed like a good bargain for the price, and is holding up very well six months later. Of all the remodeling work we've had done this year, we're most satisfied with Roy Milam's painting!

Another Contractor we had hired came in to do some wood repair and paint our house.  After 13 days of a 9 to 10 day time given for the project, the original contractor had done most of the wood work repair.  The overall job was so botched up and painting barely started - a very poor job all around.  We had to terminate the contract with the original contractor.  Roy Milam was contacted, came out immediately and submitted a bid to complete the work.  Roy's team showed up on a Monday afternoon and blew the job out by the end of the day on Thursday.  Roy's Team corrected the botched painting from the first contractor, finished the inside repairs and painted several rooms in the interior of the house.  Switching contractors cost us a extra $2000.00 we would have saved had we contacted Roy Milam in the beginning, not to mention 2 weeks of turmoil caused by the first contractor.  The Roy Milam Team were very professional, very punctual and highly skilled in their trade.  Roy runs a tight ship and he has put together an excellent group of craftsmen to get the job done.  I highly recommend the Roy Milam Team of professionals for this type of work.  I would use this contractor again anytime.

I had considered painting our house myself, but didnt have a lot of free time from work.  I called Roy and he responded to my phone inquiry quickly.  When we met I knew what I wanted and Roy was able to point out things that I had not thought about that would make the results better.  His eye for detail and his desire to get it right the first time was refreshing and welcome.  Roy answered my gazillion questions, returned my phone calls promptly, and took the time to explain each step of the process.  The crew arrived at the designated time to begin work and did an AMAZING job.  We had a walk-around the job when completed and they did not leave until everything was done to my satisfaction.   If you want a professional job by a team who cares about the quality of their work, drop that paintbrush and call Roy..you will be glad you did.

Roy came out right away and at the exact time that we agreed upon to give us an estimate to stain our front door and paint our cedar posts and cedar trim on the front and back porches of our house. In addition to his fair estimate he came highly recommended by the guys up at Sherwin Williams. Roy and his assistant Billy were very helpful and patient with us while we were trying to figure out colors. When we finally made up our mind, Billy came out at our agreed time, set up and got to work. They did a great job protecting our stone work and floors and they were very professional. Billy took the time to make sure that the stain on the front door was the perfect blend of two stain colors that we picked. The job was completed in the time that he had said it would be. Overall we were extremely pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. We would definitely use Roy and his crew in the future.

He and one of his employees were punctual at the appointed day and time.  I was impressed that his employee said, "yes maam" and "no maam", which seems to be a "lost art".  After agreeing on a price, he asked if I knew what paint I wanted to use, and he took pictures of the primer and paint w/ his phone.  Since it was more convenient to use our garage, Mr. Milam assured me that the garage would be left the same way they found it, and he explained how they would cover the walls.

His painter did a beautiful job, and the garage was left as clean as they found it.  I was impressed with the fact that he kept his word, and his employees were conscientious.  I would not hesitate to call him again.

Roy and his crew is the best.  He was prompt to prepare the bid, was on time to start, and finished when he said he would.  We couldn't be more happy with the work or with having worked with a team of thorough professionals.  He's not the only professional painting contractor we have worked with but he is top drawer all the way.

Roy Milam and his crew were very responsive and timely.  They did a great job preparing for the painting, which included cleaning, pressure washing, scraping, caulking and priming.  They were careful to cover and tape off lights, etc. After painting, a walk-through was done with me to ensure my satisfaction.  I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work.  I would definitely recommend them and will use them on future jobs, as needed.

Roy and his entire crew were always punctual, respectful, and very considerate. They did a very good job of painting our home. They always checked to make sure the work being done was exactly what we wanted, This included several walk around inspections of work being done and work completed. They cleaned up any debris at the end of the day and put up all tools and supplies. They never tried to just "paint over any problem areas", they were always brought to our attention and repaired properly before painting. We feel like they gave our home back it's original charm. We are two senior sisters who have lived in this home for many years, and it was so refreshing to actually have a crew with old fashioned work ethic. They not only enjoyed their work, they took great pride in it. And believe me it shows! When we decide to have more work done, Roy Milam and his crew are the ones we will use. We highly recommend them to anyone that wants quality work at reasonable prices.

I am planning to use Roy for my next painting projects.

Roy and team did a superb job matching origional wall texture and paint. They did a quick, efficient, and quality job from the beginning to the end of the project. Also executed additional tasks that were not in the original scope of work without hesitation. Would gladly recommend him and his teams work for those who want high quality professional paint jobs at a reasonable price.

Called Roy, who had done work for us before, and asked for an estimate on painting a recently purchased home.  Came out within 48 hours, gave us the estimate, which we accepted, and scheduled the work.  His crew arrived at the agreed tiome and date and proceeded to do the work.  Began with total cleaning of outside of house, replacement of some rotted wood.  Then they caulked the entire house and removed numberous hooks, a satellite dish, unnecessary wiring, etc.  Once this was all done, they began painting.  Most of the house was sprayed, but all trim and doors were  brush painted. 
Once the job was completed we did an inspection of their work and the place looked great.  No overspray, a couple of other "wood" problems had been repaired, and the trim work looked fantastic.
In our opinion, there is only one company to do paint work, and It's Roy Milam.

It was a great experience! Roy's entire team was friendly and hard-working. It only took them two consecutive days from start to finish.

When the colors started going on the house, they made sure I was satisfied with how it looked before continuing. They asked my opinion on where the trim lines should be when it wasn't obvious. I had them fix a few trim lines when I decided it looked a bit off. When they were finished they walked with me around the entire house to make sure I didn't see anything done incorrectly or incompletely, but they'd gotten it all! They did offer to come back free of charge if I noticed anything later on. I'm very picky and they respected my desire for excellence!

I even had a couple of small items that I wanted painted in the color of the trim, so while the paint was still in the sprayer they did so happily!
