The room had a natural inset, Josh filled that with a custom bookshelf/bar combo to match the double-sided bookshelves he'd made for us last year. There are two sections on each side with a bar and cabinetry in the center. The workmanship is superb, was very reasonably priced, and it completely re-invents the room. We couldn't possibly be happier with Josh's service and professionalism.
He worked with us to get precisely what we wanted for the room. He improved upon our initial thoughts, communicating every option to us, and the end product knocked it out of the park.

First of all. Josh and Jared (his helper) were awesome. But if anyone else out there wants to do a whole new trim and door package on your house.....make sure to do it before you move in! It is a messy business. Jand J did their best to clean after themselves but there is just a lot of dust involved in putting up doors if the drywall is not perfect and it gets everywhere. So it was 3 weeks of a dusty h***.

I showed Josh some pictures from houzz that had trim I liked. He had some good suggestions. He and Jared came and measured for all the doors and trim I would need and I took that and ordered from a local Lumber place. On the first day he double checked what the lumber place delivered and mocked up a sample casing and base for us to approve.

Jand J worked very quickly but carefully. Even though the painters were going to caulk they were very precise and everything matched up great (even on some wonky corners).

I could have hired a bigger company and had a big crew in and been done faster....but I think the quality would have been way worse. I was very happy with the work they did. And Josh and Jared are nice guys. If you have strangers in your house with you for a big job, they are pleasant to be around.

He was very engaging, professional, capable, and overall provided fantastic service. We couldn't be happier.
First, he talked it out on the phone with us to give us some ideas of what's possible and what wasn't. Then he came out to view the space. We worked out what we wanted, but he has a very busy schedule. When we got the price estimate, we decided to push things out a few months, and he was very accommodating. While we had to wait awhile, he was well worth that wait.
He kept us appraised of his progress as he started the actual building. Then he came out and spent a day getting the book shelves installed and setup. He came with everything he needed for some extra touches, like trimming the top, even though you wouldn't normally see the top.
We're looking forward to having more book shelves put in next year, and may even think up another few projects for him.

The experience was great. I found the website online and contacted Josh, the owner and lead carpenter, for an estimate. He was able to come out the next day, then sent me a bid the following day. His prices were very reasonable, so we went forward. His work was excellent. There was even a section of trim that required our decision before he could complete. Since my wife and I both work, he custom made two examples of how the trim might look and tacked them into place with a big sticker on each asking for our opinion. That alone must have set him back at least 30 minutes, but is an example of his care and dedication. After such a good experience we had him trim out one window in our kitchen. Again, he went the extra effort to show us an idea he had, before permanently installing. Josh will be coming back in a few weeks to do more windows, and is booked again a bit down the road for even more windows and maybe a door or two. About the only "bad" thing I can say is that I see a long future of spending money on Josh's services. He is just that good. Call him, you will be glad you did.

Josh installed my Kraftmaid cabinets from Home Depot for my bathroom remodel. These were not cheap cabinets, and the Home Depot contractor bid a price that was twice the price of Triplecrown. Josh was such a perfectionist - there was way more to installing premade cabinets than I would have thought. Josh was able to handle all sorts of obstacles - recessing a large cabinet so that it looked built-in, dealing with bulging and sloping walls - he even custom-cut some base trim to fill in an area under the cabinets that the tiler should have tiled - the wood piece looks just like the tile cove piece! I would highly recommend him if you are ordering Kraftmaid from big box stores - the Kraftmaid cabinets are great, but you never know what kind of installation job you will get with their installers. After he did such a great job on the cabinets, I had him add trim to my plain fireplace mantel, which turned out really great. He also added crown trim in my bathroom - really nice. He even noticed that my laundry door was sticking, and he fixed that without me asking. I really like that he discusses things and makes sure that he knows exactly what I want - especially when I am not sure what I want. I am remodeling my second bathroom now, and Josh and Chris handled the demolition because I didn't have anyone else and would have had to delay my project. They did a better job than the "professional" contractor's people did on the first bathroom. Bottom line, Josh is really reasonably priced, a real craftsman, and really pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to use his services again - I just hope that he doesn't get too busy for my sake!
