Touchstone Plumbing is a good service provider that we have used before and will use again. No drama. No surprises. They really seem to care about how their customers are treated. We always ask for David, but I bet their other plumbers are solid as well. Make sure you mention Angieslist for your 10% discount on labor.

When I called I was told there may be a service person available within the next 30 minutes. Approximately 30 minutes later they returned my call and said a serviceman was in the area and could be here within 20 minutes. About 10 minutes later he was here. Took him less than an hour. He replaced the old faucets (turn off valves under the sink) and repaired the leak by installing new lines. Old ones looked pretty bad. Job well done! Totally pleased with their work.

Very prompt, professional, and friendly. Knew exactly what to do and did exactly what he said he would do and when. Much less expensive than other plumbers I received a quote from. Would definitely call them again.

David was exactly on time, very personable and came prepared. He worked efficiently and gave me clear instructions on how to care for my heater so it doesn't rust again. Overall a great no fuss experience.

Very punctual and professionall. THe plumber was very responsive and came out to give me an estimate right away. They called me the next day and came out to fix everything which only took about an hour. They had originally quated me $175 for the job but after looking at the faucet he was able to fix it rather than replace it annd they only charged me $93.50. I really got my money's worth. THe only thing they didn't do was re-caulk my bathroom fixture to complete the job but that's something I can do.

We were able to easily negotiate a time for him to arrive. He was very courteous and professional, and was able to repair my toilet and shower head by just removing some minor parts that were vibrating, rather than charging me to replace the entire assembly. The final bill was for less than I expected. I'm very satisfied with my experience and will definitely use them again.

Emmett found the HVAC leak in the attic that the HVAC guy missed. He was willing to dig through the thick layers of insulation to establish where the leak was coming from. This is after the HVAC guy spent a long time in the attic and said the leak wasn't HVAC. So....I appreciated Emmett's courtesy and perseverance. Because of him, I was able to then get the problem fixed.

We purchased our new toilets and waste disposer on Friday....called Touchstone Plumbing Friday afternoon.....set the appointment for Tuesday morning. Some good friends had used Touchstone for their new home and recommended them. We checked them out on Angies List and found them highly rated...and in our neighborhood. David called to let me know he would be here by 8:30 am. He arrived on time....went right to work. He showed me that our flange attachements were broken and it would be best to replace them. He did give me other options...but I agreed I wanted it to be the best option. He was very helpful in answering any questions I had and even gave me some advice on future remodeling endeavors. David finished the job and left everything neat and clean. I know exactly who I will call for any future remodeling that requires a plumber.

We recently moved into our home and wanted to tend to some plumbing issues uncovered in our inspection report. I called Touchstone after reading reviews on Yelp, and I wasn't disappointed. The owner ( I can't seem to remember his name right now) came by to assess and give me an estimate. He was friendly, funny (dry), and knowledgeable. A few days later, he sent David to do the repairs. David was great. He worked outside in the full sun, felt like 110 degrees that day, and was super friendly and patient at the same time. I asked a lot of questions, and I don't know anything about plumbing, so I would've expected him to get irritated. But he answered all my questions and was very thorough in his work. David came back a couple days later and hooked up the ice-maker for my refrigerator. Parts and labor on that was about $150 and he recommended using a higher quality line than I would have used. I was very comfortable with him in my home and I will certainly call them for any future jobs.

Their initial phone estimate was four plus hours at $89 per hour minus the 10% with Angie's List discount. They did not charge a service call fee as most other firms quoted. Their estimate and actual fee for services was much below competing estimates of $107/hour to $145 per hour. The plumber who came arrived early, worked non-stop, cleaned up and took away the old toilets for $10. I have put TouchStone Plumbing into my elite Services Contacts. They said they would come today and Emmett called this a.m. and was here within 30 min. He came and did the job in a very timely manner. Was very friendly and answered all of our questions. We will definitely use them again.

He was on time, courteous, quick and fixed the problem.

I had a coating put on the tiles in my bathroom. There was a crack in the caulk and the company that did the initial work came out and removed a few of the tiles and found it was wet behind the tiles. I called Touchstone Plumbing ( I got their name & number from Angie's List) to come out and see if I had a leak in the pipes. When I first called Touchstone I wanted to get it looked at as soon as possible. Yolanda put me down for the following morning. To my relief I did not have a leak in the pipe. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Touchstone Plumbing. Thanks Touchstone

It turned out the problem was two little wood chips (applewood chips for bbq'ing) lodged down there in my disposal. He pulled them out in a second and didn't even charge me anything! That's integrity that you rarely find in businesses today. I would DEFINITELY recommend Touchstone to anyone who needs plumbing work done and I will go to Touchstone for all my future plumbing issues :)

they came out and looked at the job, gave an estimate (about the midrange of what I was expecting) and then came back the next day and took out the old heater and drain and put the new one in. They had to carry it upstairs and through a very small access door into the attic but went right ahead and did it. They cleaned up and left things in good order. Fast response and good service.

It was about an hour's worth of service call and they gave me a five percent discount. They got here when they were supposed to and even though they didn't think they could take care of the job, I asked the plumber to stay and see what he could do. He did seem to solve the problem and after a week I don't have any back up problems. He did an excellent job. I didn’t get any other estimates but the price seemed reasonable. They came the next day after I contacted them and they knew what they were doing.

Touchstone did a terrific job. Their original estimate was about $800, which was right in the middle of the 3 estimates we got. But when they came to do the actual work, they realized they needed to replace only about half the pipe of their original estimate. So with the lower cost -- and our Angie's List discount -- the total came to less than half the original estimate. I was thrilled. When does a service bill ever drop instead of rise?! Also, the workers were efficient and a pretty good job of returning the lawn and garden area back to its original state.

These guys have been to my house three times over the last few years fixing plumbing issues as I update my house. This time Emmitt came out and installed a new tub and ran new lines for shower and tub fixtures for my master bathroom. As usual, he did a great job, provided a free quote beforehand, showed up on time, everything you would want from a contractor working on your house.

Emmett did a great job, quickly and efficiently unclogging our shower and sink and replacing ballcock in upstairs toilet. Very knowledgeable and professional, would definitely use them again.

They were skilled, clean, polite, easy to talk to, explained how things worked, and accommodating at every step. They made sure that I was satisfied. They had my interest in mind in a fashion that is rare these days. I felt like my plumbing needs were being cared for by a family member! They did a lot of work for the money. Their care to minimize demo-ing paid off since they did it so that they did not have to tear up my wood floor. I will use Touchstone Plumbing every time.

They first did work for me over a year ago and recently they had to come back to fix a problem that they created. It was a simple problem; the bad part is that they messed up but the good part is that a guy came the same day and we weren?t charged anything.

They were unresponsive to me. I had appointments made with them, which they didn't keep. They blew me off and said they didn't do that kind of work. I had one guy come out and give me an estimate and there was supposed to be a follow up and they didn't do that. I called them and they said the kind of work I neeeded done, they didn't do. I thought that was strange because one of their guys had already given me an estimate. The estimate wasn't itemized.
