They called to confirm appointment, he arrived promptly. Emmitt was courteous and worked quickly, talked about various solutions/ options about miscellaneous plumbing/toilet/faucet issues. He listened to what we had to say about what we wanted and gave useful preventive tips. It was nice to have someone whose reponses did NOT involve us buying new stuff. The price for the amount of time/labor/parts was excellent and lower than we expected. I would use them again in the future.

We are remodeling our master bathroom and wanted to cap the water lines since the shutoff valves were corroded and we are planning to have some of the plumbing moved anyway. I called Touchstone and they worked with my limited availability to get a plumber out quickly. When he arrived, we discussed options and I agreed that he would cap the pipes but not solder them, since we didn't have a lot of excess pipe to lose when the new valves went on. Everything went great and I was very pleased with the work and price. The next day I was working in the bathroom and accidentally pulled on one of the caps, loosening it and causing a huge spray of water to leak both all over our bathroom and into the wall. We managed to tighten the cap again to stop it but were now nervous to leave it like that with the potential for another accident. I called Touchstone back after the weekend and asked to have someone come out and cap the pipes more securely. I want to emphasize that it was NOT the plumber's fault that the cap leaked and I was asking that they be soldered simply for my own peace of mind, and to protect against future clumsiness. The same plumber came back out that day, extended the copper piping so we'd have some excess, and added soldered caps for security. And he informed me that they wouldn't be charging for the service! Completely unexpected, but very much appreciated, especially since the leaking wasn't their fault. We will be happy to use (and recommend) Touchstone for all our plumbing needs in the future!

My water heaters were not providing adequate hot water and I had one toilet that was leaking intermittently at the base. Dave was very punctual, courteous, and professional. He replaced a part on the water heater and re-sealed and leveled the toilet. My water heaters are 14 years old and I was expecting to be told that they should be replaced. I was pleased that Dave was honest about the need for only a minor repair. I will definitely use Touchstone for future needs.

I had a good experience with them. I use them routinely. I haven't had any negative problems with them. I don't know how they rate on price with other people. They are dependable so I use them and don't get any other quotes.

THEY DO NOT PROVIDE DRAIN CLEANING. This company does not provide drain cleaning services.

We moved into an new (old) house in July that needed several plumbing repairs. We selected Touchstone Plumbing from the good reviews they have received on Angie's List. They have worked on our house several times on different projects over the last several months. They have fixed a gas leak on the hot water heater, replaced a basket strainer on the kitchen sink, installed two new shower heads, installed a new toilet, took out the toilets and reinstalled them when we had new floor tiles installed, plumbed water to the refrigerator ice maker, and installed a missing drain trap on a workroom sink. They are quick to respond to our call. Although I'm sure all their plumbers are equally great, we always request they send Emmit to do our repairs. He is professional, courteous, takes pride in his work and cleans up the mess. I wouldn't hesitate to use Touchstone again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Our water heater stopped working after a water main break down the road. We thought that it had to be replaced and called around. Touchstone responded immediately and were willing to come out right away, which was a pleasant surprise. Turned out the water heater was operational - it was just a flipped breaker, which was located on a panel I didn't know about. Before they left, they told me that it's possible a burned out heater element caused the breaker to switch, but they couldn't test it, since they were an install-only crew. I was to call back if water hasn't heated or there's not enough hot water after a couple of hours.The water was definitely warm but not hot after 2 hours so I called back. They told me that they would be there around 2 PM. They never showed up nor called. I got busy with kids and didn't realize it was past business hours, and, of course, it was the weekend. I was too disgusted to call them back on Monday. It's now Wednesday and they never followed up. Overall, the speed of response was impressive - until there was none. Wish it had worked out.

Don't assume what the problem is let someone who is in the field diagnose and repair.

I called them out for a quote, he came and told me what parts I needed to get and diagnosed all the plumbing problems. I was pretty sure we set an appointment for the following Tuesday and then he never showed and I never heard back. I called a few weeks later and they finally called back and said they'd been waiting on me to call them to let them know I had the parts. I was not going to call them back but then I called another company and their quote was much higher & they charged a service fee for the initial visit... it would have been well over $300 with a competitor's company! So we finally got on the schedule and he came out, repaired everything and all is well! I would recommend because of price and perhaps the communication breakdown was only a one time incident.

I had thought that the toilet would need to be completely rehabbed, but he evaluated and found it just needed adjusting. This saved me a lot of money. Explained workings for my future reference. Did a great job installing faucets and shower head. My neighbor used Touchstone the same day when I told her that they were recommended on Angie's list.

We called the office late in the morning after we discovered the leak. David Watson called and came out around mid afternoon. He fixed the problem! He did a great job and we were so thankful. Would highly recommended this company.

It was a small repair and it was awfully expensive. He did the work and he was a nice person, just a little expensive.

Emmett came out, took a look, tested the spiget, made sure it was secure and said everything looked fine. That the spiget was secure and there were no leaks so there was really nothing to fix. Super nice guy. I couldn't have asked for better.

The plumber was really good and excellent. We spent under $100 and it was very reasonable. We thought it was going to end up with a water heater problem, but he diagnosed that we didn’t need a hot water heater, which was a big relief. I would give the plumber five stars. He was punctual and came out. He was great. His price was very competitive. He was very responsive and very professional. We would certainly recommend him and use him again.

We called before lunch and a person was out to do the work at 3:30 PM. Very quick....

David Watson was extremely punctual. Actually service was scheduled for 10:00am. David called and said if I wanted he would come earlier. So he arrived at 9:15am. He was very courteous and friendly. Rates were approximately $95 an hour. He finished the job in under an hour. For an extra $20 he took away the old toilet. I am extreme happy with Touchstone and will definitely use them again and refer them to anyone needing a plumber. Again, I commend the plumber David Watson.

Overall, I was quite pleased with the service. I can honestly say that the service and attitude of the serviceman was excellant!!!!

David arrived promptly, crawled under the house, ID'd the problem and fixed it -- all within an hour. The cost was very fair and he was very courteous. Great service!

They were hourly rated as $89.50 an hour minus 10% because they were on Angie's List. They quoted me a price that came in under $100. They were way under than their competitors not just because they were low priced but also they used much less time than anybody else. They were very good on price.

Touchstone Plumbing was great. Instead of replacing the whole reverse osmosis unit he was able to repair it. Another plumber we had called said that it was reparable and we should buy a new one. We have been having ongoing problems with leakage under the sink area. He found it and repaired it. The faucet in the bathroom had been repaired once and immediately started dripping again. This time everything is in good order. I am grateful to have found a competent, professional plumber.

I love, love, love this company. Shane, the owner was very professional, honest, and solution oriented. His whole team was great to work with and I always felt I was in good hands.

John was polite and courteous. Made quick work of the problem and charged me 20 bucks.

freezing temps caused pipes to burst all over town,including my own home. happened late at night. didn't call for plumber till early a.m. before business hours and so had to leave message. touchstone returned call in am. and put me on their schedule for the day. since they were still making up their work schedule for day, they couldn't give me time yet, but said they'd call to let me know. no one called, but i was thrilled when they appeared at my front door just hours after my initial call. two guys worked very efficiently to repair the problem. they were courteous and professional. i consider this an excellent fix for a bad situation.
