We called them and they were there that same day and after looking at the problem, they went ahead and fixed it right on the spot. THE VALVE WAS NOT WORKING.

It works great now. They were very professional and they did a great job. It was a reasonable price. They had a very good attitude. I would definitely use them again.

Ultimately the shower head does work better. However, he did not explain both ways and the cost of both instead of giving me the option.

The workman was pleasant, efficient, and happy to return after we both thought he was done. I discovered another leak hidden by a jury rigged half repair by the previous owner. I will definitely use Touchstone again. Mind you, I'm in a mood to slap the previous owner of this house.

About as close to a perfectly run contractor as I've seen. They answer their phone, return calls, show up on time, and do the job efficiently and professionally. I will not use another plumber in town again except for them. I originally called another company I had used once in the past, but Touchstone was fair-priced and did an excellent job, they will get my business going forward.

I got several bids. Touchstone was the only company willing to talk be out of using PVC and to use copper instead. They did everything in copper. They did excellent work in every way. for instance, when they replaced a 45 ft water line from the street, they not only increased the diameter of the line, they were careful to root the align around the trees so they would not cut into tree roots. they also did not have to break the sidewalk, instead dug underneath the sidewalk to root the line. They were careful with my home. The state board of plumbing examiners even signed off on the work.

I called Touchstone, and spoke to the receptionist who had a plumber call me back within 30 minutes. He was available right away, so he came to the house, listened to my explanation, and then began to explain to me the options that I had for solving the problem. He gave me a really low cost option that I would have taken, but we're selling the house, and I didn't want to have to explain to the buyers the specific fix. Instead he replaced the valve which involved cutting the pipes, installing the new valve, and soldering (or sweating) the pipes. He checked for leaks, and when he found one that wouldn't accept the solder, he cut the joint out, and started over. He was very thorough, and very neat! I was very pleased with the service, and would highly recommend them.

It took about 4 hours of work and a small section of PVC pipe, but the work was done and so far, so good. Dave told me I should get the drain snaked when I wasn't paying Saturday rates and I've arranged it. I called a bunch of other plumbers that morning and Touchstone was the only responsive company. I was referred to them by Johnny Rooter.

I was easily able to schedule an appointment, and a plumber and an apprentice arrived later in the week to do the work. The process of inspecting and repairing the problem was fast, and the plumbers were communicative and easy to deal with. The pipe was properly repaired. The minimum amount of billing is one hour, hence the high cost.

I called for service and was given a phone estimate of the cost. I requested service for the following day which was the day before Thanksgiving. They arrived and were very efficient in doing the work. The bill was a little less than the estimate. They also gave me some advice on other plumbing needs that I will have in the immediate future.

I called on a Saturday and received a call back early Monday to arrange an appointment for the same day. The plumber installed the water filter. The price was reasonable and there have been no leaks or other problems.

Every time that I have called them, they came out on the same day, and they do a very good job. When they ran the drain, they had told me it would cost around $900, and it ended up costing $100 less. Once I had an issue with a water heater and since it was so simple, they didn't charge me.

Being new to the Austin area and having our home built, we used Angie's List to acquire this company. Unfortunately we were not pleased with the result. They were never on time and they didn't even bother to call us to let us know they would be late. They hurried to complete the job and over charged us on the bill. The company fixed the over charge but I would only use this company in the future if I got a quote and contract first.

When they arrived, they immediately checked the washing machine hookups since they were closest to the area that was wet outside. The service man told my husband that the facet needed tightening and a washer needed to be replaced. He said that my husband could do the job himself for very little money and effort and he did not charge us for the service call. THANK YOU! We spent approximately 50 cents on a new washer and now the leak is fixed and the wet wall has dried up. We are very pleased that the service man was honest and didn't charge us a service call for such a simple job. The next time we need some plumbing work, we know who to call now!

They came out to bid on the job within a day or two. The price was reasonable and I asked them to start as soon as they could. They were back in a few days and the job was completed in a few hours for the quoted price.

A hole needed to be drilled through our stainless steel sink for the separate spout, which required them to come back the next morning. This increased the overall cost of the job, but they were very communicative and professional and even installed the hook-up to the ice-maker in our freezer without charging more than originally quoted.

I did not experience any troubles with the people from Touch Stone. They came and did what was needed to be done and in a descent amount of time too. They also offered some descent prices for being plumbers. Most plumbers are pretty sneaky when it comes to prices, but they stuck to their original quote. I would have no troubles using them again.

They sent someone out right away after I called them, and I was very happy with this company. I have used them many times in the past, and they were very dependable. I knew when I called them, the job would be done quick and correctly. I wasn t sure what I paid them last time, but it was reasonable.
