Both service calls went great. Plumber was on site wihtin an hour. work was completed in a timely fashion and within initial estimates. Will be using them for all of my plumbing needs.

Called, arranged the visit to an apartment I own, he came promptly, fixed it, and billed me. No fuss, no muss.

He explained why they had needed replacement both times - the tenants were keeping water heater too hot, and the gaskets would continue to need replacing unless they turned the temperature down. Tenants were happy to co-operate, this could have been an ongoing nightmare if I had only kept replacing them.

David was scheduled less than 24 hours after my initial call. He arrived on time and was very professional. We asked him to repair a leak under the kitchen sink, hook up the ice maker and unclog slow draining sink in the bathroom. He had all the parts needed to make the repairs and did so in less than an hour. Instead of repairing the bathroom sink, he made some suggestions on how we could easily fix it ourselves, which saved us money. He also showed my husband how to change a shower head and again, saved us some money. Overall, we were very satisfied and we would definitely use this company again.

The overall experience was great. I called the company late on the 20th after waiting all day on a different plumbing company that never showed up. It was a non-emergency and all their trucks were in for the day but they called me first thing in the morning on the 21st to schedule a time to come out. All I needed was a pipe draining my air conditioner to be "snaked" because it was backing up water into my garage. They showed up at 5pm (originally scheduled for "after 3pm" but called at 4pm to say on the way and stuck in traffic - very courteous). He snaked the drain and left. Didn't charge a thing! Said it was a simple thing (it really was - I tried to do it myself with a coat hanger but it wasn't long enough) and asked that we think of them if we ever needed anything else done. We totally will! Thank you!!!

TOUCHSTONE WAS POLITE , PROMPT, SKILLFUL AND INEXPENSIVE. THREE TRIPS WERE NECESSARY, TWO OF WHICH REQUIRED SIMPLE ACTIONS THAT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE. THEY NEVER CHARGED A PENNY FOR THE TWO FOLLOWUP VISITS I REQUESTED. WE'VE LIVED AT OUR PRESENT LOCATION FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS. TOUCHSTONE WAS BY FAR THE VERY BEST PLUMBER EVER.

Pretty straightforward. They charged $98.50 for labor for about 45 mins. at the house. Came on short notice, very polite and professional. They were the first plumbers that could make it - everyone else was booked pretty solid.

Excellently. I called to have one sink unclogged, but he checked all my plumbing at my request so that we could find problems and needed adjustments that I may not have been aware of. He made minor repairs as needed in addition to unclogging the drain. I feel good that my plumbing is in good working order and feel the price for all the adjustments is quite fair.

My business partner and I own several small rent homes in Austin. The original sewer line on one home had collapsed to the point that it was repeatedly clogging. We had used Touchstone Plumbing several times in the past for smaller repairs and found them reliable. I got a quote from them and one other company. Touchstone was surprisingly less expensive. They had to obtain two different permits from COA and to route across a concrete driveway, while keeping the tenants' service operational. The only delays were due to waiting for COA inspectors and permits, but Touchstone handled all of that. It took about 5 days start to finish, and we are pleased with the work.

Touchstone agreed to do a remodel. They charged me twice as much as they estimated. They sent over a plumber who was rude and dismissive. The owner later explained that his plumber had a "problem with women" and acted as if that made it OK. They never finished the work and eventually stopped returning my calls. I had to hire another plumber to finish the job.

I called and the phone was answered right away. I explained the problem and was told they could have someone out the same afternoon, which was of great relief to me. The plumber was at our house actually within two hours. He was friendly and was able to diagnose and repair the matter very quickly and at a cost I was very happy with. This was easily the best plumbing experience I have ever had and will use this company again in the future without a doubt.

Touchstone was very responsive and were able to come to the house at our earliest convenience. They were able to work quickly to fix both leaks and gave us some advice for preventing mildew buildup as well. Nice work.

Touchstone replaced a gas hot water heater that was worn out and leaking. The leaking hot water heater had damaged the wall around its enclosure. In addition to replacing the hot water heater, David, the plumber, installed a pan and drain line to carry water from possible future leaks away and prevent damage to the water heater enclosure. He also replaced a bathroom drain stopper and a backflow preventer on an outside hose bib. David was very professional, answered all my questions, recommended how to prevent a recurrence of the water damage, cleaned up after his work and carried away the old hot water heater. He was on time arriving at the job and completed the job on the same day within reasonable time at just slightly under the cost estimate. I had to come from out of town to let the plumber in to do his work; Touchstone accommodated my travel schedule. As I write this report six months after the repairs, there have been no problems with the work.

They were able to easily find the cause of our water leak. They fixed it rather quickly. I appreciated that they wrote up what the problem was so I could show the water company.

After a pipe started leaking in our slab, destroying our flooring, John Touchstone came out promptly to provide an estimate, and two of his employees (not subcontractors) showed up early Monday morning, right on time. They capped the hot and cold water supply lines that ran through the slab, rerouted them in the attic, and insulated them heavily. They also fixed some incidental issues (i.e., reset the toilet and fixed the valve in the shower faucet) on the fly. They finished the entire job in less than two days, earlier than expected. Everything works perfectly, and the job was finished early, under budget, and without incident.

Great service! The old sink was a wall mount which I had replaced with a standing utility sink. He had to actually cut out the old cast iron pipe and replace with PVC. It turned out to be a much more labor intensive project that I imagined and was worried about the labor charge because of the added work. But that wasn't the case at all. Very reasonable charge for the amount of labor involved. Sure am enjoying my new sink!

I called about 10 a.m. and someone was here within the hour. He was very polite and professional and got the problem taken care of right away. Then he asked if I needed anything else, so I showed him the bathtub issue. He checked the water pressure and explained why it ran slowly (combination of tankless water heater and specific type of faucet) and how I could get around it.

Called several times, was told the owner would call me. He never did. The last time I called they finally said that he had taken his wife to the hospital, and then another employee was in the hospital, and "it wasn't a good day". All of that is fine, if the person answering the phone had just told me that the first time - I could've gotten another company out two days earlier to fix my problem.

Great. The plumber was professional and cleaned up. He answered a ton of questions and worked quickly.

They showed up on time. They did what they could do until they were able to get another tech. I'm very happy with the work, punctuality to schedule. They completed it quickly.

Their services were very good. They gave me a good estimate and kept to it. They were on time and they didn't try to oversell me.

John came out within 2 days of my initial call. He took detailed notes on the work we needed performed and was gone within 30 minutes. I did have to call their offices to request an estimate, which was mailed to me that day. I decided on having them do the work and scheduled with them to have David come out several days later. He was a little late due to weather issues, but called to notify me that he would be late. Once he arrived, we went over the work order again and he got right down to business. He was very polite, clean and competent. He worked quickly and efficiently, did a great job. David did have to leave at one point to go get a part that he did not have, but was back within 30 minutes and right back to work. He asked me permission before using the restroom and cleaned up his work space as if he had never been there. I am very pleased with his work and am excited to have my shower installed so that I can enjoy my new walk-in shower. I will definitely be having David come back over when we start renovations on our other bathroom.

I was really impressed with the methodical way they figured out the problem and presented the options. And the best part was that after I paid the bill, the office called me back and said I was overcharged! So they sent that check back, and I sent them a new one. That's the only odd thing about this company: they don't take credit cards. That would've been an unpleasant surprise if the cost had been higher. They should really make that clear when you call. Otherwise, I highly recommend Touchstone.
