After reading the reviews on Tony, I called and asked if he serviced Lakeway. He said and quot;yes,and quot; and said he could be there the next day at 8:30am. I said fine, thinking it would probably be around 9:00 or 9:30 am before he would make it, since his address is about 30 miles from here. I asked Tony what his charges were, and he said $400.00. The next morning Tony called at 8:00, and said he would be here in 20 minutes, and was that okay? My answer, of course, was and quot;sure.and quot;
As soon as he got here he asked me to explain what had happened. After I told him, he cut off the electricity to the oven, took out the screws holding the oven to the framework, pulled the oven out of the framework, and proceeded to start checking the wiring. After about 30 to 45 minutes he explained what was wrong. Tony further stated that it would be about 4 or 5 business days before the part came in, but if I needed to use the oven, the lower unit worked. This was on June 25, 2014.
Tony called on June 30 to let me know the part had not come in, but that as soon as it did he would be here. On July 2, he called about 8:30am and said he part was in and that he was on his way. Once he got here, he took the oven out of the wall, replaced the module, replaced the oven, and asked me to go through a number of the settings. Everything worked as it had prior to the oven going out. It took Tony about an hour.
In retrospect, Tony is the type of person you always want to hire - if possible. He is courteous, shows up on time, makes sure you are satisfied with his work and job performance, and doesn't change the price on you at the end of the job.
