THOMPSON'S TREE SERVICE

Completed all the work discussed in the consultation visit and any extra areas that we asked for.  They were very agreeable and concerned that the work was done to our satisfaction.  Clean up was great!  We have used them for several years and will continue to recommend them.

As usual, they were excellent. They provide big company service and quality with small company friendliness and ease of doing business. Will continue using for years to come.

Summary: EXCELLENT!
We gathered estimates from 5 or 6 companies, several listed on Angie's list.  Thompson's was the lowest bid and had the highest ratings.  We verified their insurance policy and took their next available appointment.
Their crew was here for two days to take out the tree and another morning to grind the six-foot wide stump.  Each day, the crew arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and cleaned up any saw dust and debris.  (Some logs were left overnight on the first night, but they were arranged neatly by the curb.)
We hired a different tree service a couple of years ago to trim the same tree.  With that other service, numerous branches were dropped on our roof and we later developed a roof leak that was likely a result of the rough trimming efforts.
Thompson's crew dropped nothing on our roof and took out the entire tree, not just a few branches.  If only we had known that this was the proper approach, we would have fired that other service.
I have rarely been excited about writing a check this large, but I was happy to write this one.

Better than any other job ever done on my property.  I have never experienced this level of quality.  This tree was extremely close to our house.  Lots of windows that could have easily been broken.  Not one thing went wrong.  I have a limestone patio in front of the tree - they took great care not to harm the patio either.  I am still in awe.  When clean up was finished it was as if the tree had not been chopped down.  Literally not a mess in site.

Arrived on time.  Used power saws to prune and "painted" the wounds.  Mulched the tree limbs and throughly cleaned the yard.

One of my trees in my backyard fell down on my house landing on my roof.  The tree was over 45 feet tall and was very heavy.  Since this happened on a Sunday, my insurance gave me a list of tree service companies to contact to remove the tree immediately.  I got on Angie's List and was very impressed with the reviews for Thompson Tree Service so I called them the next morning.  I contacted them at 7:30 AM and spoke to Robbie. I explained my situation and asked if he would be available that morning and he told he would be over before 9 AM and he was right on time. He had two other men with him and they started chopping my tree from my roof and recommended that I chopped down my other trees since they were rotting away too and more than likely will fall down soon.  The other 2 trees were over 45 feet tall too and they chopped them down.  They worked from 9 -5.  They are very precise, never once did any of the branches fell on my neighbor's yard.  They removed all the debris and left my yard looking clean.  Robbie is a nice man and the service was excellent!

I have used Thompson three times previously to remove trees threatening the house. They have always done excellent work for a reasonable price. This is the first time I have had them trim my trees and I was exceptionally pleased with the quality of the work and the spotless cleanup. This is the first tree service that has not trampled the plantings and beds around the trees. I will not use anyone else for my tree work and highly recommend their services.

We called they came at set time they trimed the tree and cleaned the yard COMPLETELY it was as if nothing had been cut..which a lot had been..and our tree..if we had picked a tree of this size to have planted this would be the tree..they are very nice and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Great people to have do this type work.

The best thing about them was their follow up. They are here when they say that they are going to come and they do the work they they say they are going to do. They are reasonably priced.

They do a very good job. They did what they said they were going to. They charged exactly what they said they would. They did a very fine job. They're consistently there for us year after year.

They came on time when they said they would be here. They did the work and cleaned up well. There was one person here that spoke English, per my request for communication purposes. They were professional and did everything they said they were going to do. They did not let any limbs drop on the roof and I paid exactly what the estimate stated. I would recommend them to others.

We've used them twice now and are very happy with their work. The salesman was very knowledgeable, and gave advice as we walked through the property. The crew worked efficiently, did all the work that had been agreed on, cleaned up and were very courteous.

Cecil had been a man we have used for years. Because he owned his own grinder, his costs were very affordable and cheaper than other brush grinders. He came out once a year and took care of all our branches in our compost site. He was pretty trusting and honest. I would recommend him to neighbors in the area.
