The Moving Crew

Background: The Moving Crew was a recommendation from my realtor. I compared them to two other moving companies that were recommended to me - another small company quoted a similar price but a longer time, and a different, larger and well known company quoted $200 more (but they was too busy to send someone for an on-site estimate).

Bottom line: Very well worth it - highly recommended and I would definitely use them again!

Why I would use them again:

• Kacey and his crew (Les & Elijah) were very professional and courteous
• They were easy to communicate with and arrived on time
• Packing and moving was done quickly yet carefully (everything made it to the house undamaged, nothing got lost)
• They brought everything needed including dollies, packing paper, boxes, padding, straps, plastic wrap, tools, and even 100ft of carpet protector for the house
• Kacey really went above and beyond what I expected - he even packed up my fridge/freezer stuff last and transported it in his personal truck to make sure it could be transferred into the fridge at the house
  

 Notes:

• If you have pets, make sure to put them away before any movers or service people who need to prop your door open arrive. These movers were so fast that they propped the door and started moving things before I had a chance to get my two cats put away. Luckily, they are terrified of the outdoors and went to hid in the bathroom so it was fine (the cats, not the movers).
• Due to the nature of my move (a small amount of stuff in a short distance), no labeling was needed on the boxes. The movers remembered which boxes went with each room and delivered them right where they needed to be. I'm guessing they have a better way of labeling the boxes for a long-distance move or for long-term storage.
