Where do I begin?I guess I'll start by saying, dont ever hire Honey Do Crew ATX for any project or you'll get shoddy work done late and then you'll get billed for things you shouldn't get billed for. My 4th revised invoice was over $500 less than the first invoice I got. I continued to ask for copies of receipts for materials to make sure there werent fraudulent charges, and it took THREE more times for them to get it right. I hired Honey Do Crew ATX to install an electrical hookup for an RV, then to move the RV and lastly, to build an animal pen. I was assured they'd done all of these things several times. I am now convinced that Joe (co-owner) has never built a fence in his life. All of the jobs were to be done at a new house my family was purchasing. We were going to be out of town while the electric and fence was to be done. Joe called me 30 times (seriously, I have the phone records) while I was out of town with questions that wouldn't have been asked if he knew what he was doing. My new neightbor I hadn't even met yet called me to tell me they were doing the fence completely wrong. He sent pictures for proof. Joe's crew ended up accidentally cutting my neighbor's cable line because they didn't call the city before they started digging posts (amateur move). Joe said he wasn't going to cover the cost to repair the cable line and threatened on multiple occasions to quit the job before it was completed. If I hadn't been out of town and on a time crunch I would have fired him long before this point, but he kept reassuring me he would make sure everything would be done the right way. The T-posts were all facing different directions, the fence wasnt stretched tight properly and proper bracing wasnt installed. Some of the T-posts didn't even have wire ties. They set posts too far from the adjoining fence, so animals can get in/out. The gate is set too high leaving a gap that allows neighborhood dogs to get into the pen with my goats and alpacas. I was told on multiple occasions H braces would be on all 4 corners (my neighbor is a witness because I had to do a 3-way call with him and Joe to settle the cable issue even though it had nothing to do with me), and come home to find wooden posts instead of H braces. Joe moved the RV without issue, but didn't properly set it up and level it, like he told my mother in law he would (it's her RV), so we hired someone else to do it right. The electric was delayed because Joe told the electrician the wrong thing to get (electrician's own words). I told Joe repeatedly it was a 50amp hook up, and he told the electrician 30amp. After all of the stress of numerous (excessive) phone calls, shoddy work (the electrician did a great Job despite Joe's errors), and a week of hounding them for receipts to back up their charges (I'll repeat, they OVER-charged me by more than $500) I'm left extremely dissatisfied and irritated that after spending over $4,000, I have to put more time and money into 2 of the 3 jobs I hired Honey Do Crew ATX to complete. This morning I finally got a correct revised invoice and once again expressed my dissatisfaction with the entire process and my disappointment in not having been offered a discount at any point. Joe calls and says he's offer $400 off as long as I don't post any "negative reviews." To me, thats the same as purchasing reviews, which I find unethical, so I declined his offer. Do yourselves a favor and avoid Honey Do Crew ATX and hire a real professional. * I have plenty of photos but they won't upload to this site
