Plumbing problem at the rental house. I hired Mark to unclog the pipes in the bathroom. Came over worked on it for about one hour. Then told me he was going to be back on Saturday morning. Never showed up and did not call me. I emailed him and he replied that he has decline the job with out a reason. He email me an invoice with it stating that he would refund me $100.00 if he could not removed the clog. It says he will only charge for the time being there. So I tried paying with a personal check and he refused it he wanted cash. He wanted $300.00, but I only had 250.00 and he took it from me. He never returned to finish the job nor to refund me the $100.00. At one time he asked me when could I meet him. I told him Friday was a good day I had nothing plan and was available. Never called to set a time. I keep emailing him and then he called me very rude and yelling at me. He told me he was not going to refund the money. He told me to stop harassing him or he will take legal actions. Don’t use his services will run and not come back to finish the job or to talk to you as why he declined the job. Don’t use his service.
Description of Work: Clog in the plumbing pipes in the bath room. Cost $300.00 if he unclogs it.

Be careful if hiring this company. I submitted a detailed request on-line, got a quote in writing from Mark and Eli, clarified the quote (in writing), and scheduled the job. They were substantially lower than any other of the 5 quotes I received. Mark called on Sunday to let me know of the start time on Monday. I asked that he call me about 20-30 minutes out because I do not live at the property they were working on and would need to come meet them. The team was at the house as scheduled and called me 30 minutes prior to arrival so that I was also there when they arrived. I paid them half of the total cost to get started. I made sure Mark had my cell phone number, told him again that the property was a rental but I did not live very far away and would be working from home so if he needed anything, to please call me. I said that the neighbor was sharing the cost of the work (as neighbors often do when the fence line is shared property), and that the neighbors would pay him the second half of the money when he was done. However, I knew I was ultimately responsible so to please call me about 30 minutes prior to finishing so that I could come out and see the work and make sure that if the neighbors did not pay him, that I was there to give him the money for the balance. d two of the original fence posts but, for what I was paying, I was not worried. When I checked on the job at 2PM, they had 19LF done of a 61LF job. They had re-used two of the original fence posts but, for what I was paying, I was not worried. My other concern was the large posts sticking up. Fence posts need to be buried 2 feet in the ground and these posts were sticking up well above the 6 foot mark (see photo). Mark assured me that they were buried 2 feet and that they were 10 foot posts, not 8. He also reassured me that the 2 re-used posts were re-cemented and would be fine. (see photo of what "fine" means.) I gave Mark an additional check to cover the second haul fee and to cover the portion of the fence line that I was not splitting with the neighbor. I had now paid them $666 of the $970 total cost. I reiterated my conversation about finishing the job that we had that morning and gave Mark my neighbors' cell phone numbers. He never mentioned he was uncomfortable calling them or that it was not in their policy to let neighbors split costs of common property projects. Mark told me it wasn't a problem and I left. At 4:59PM, a lady from Texas Pro's office called me and started the conversation with "my guys tell me you aren't going to pay for the fence we put in today". Ummm....what?! She went on without pause accusing me of breaking our contract, lying, being a deadbeat payer, etc. It was the most abusive, rude and unprofessional behavior I have ever seen. I tried to break into her tirade several times explaining that the crew knew I didn't live there, knew my cell number, were supposed to call when they were almost done so that I could come back, etc., but she was not putting up with any of it. When I finally asked her how I was supposed to know that they were done if they didn't call me and I wasn't there, she relented and began bullying me as to when I was going to pay them because she had workers to pay. She was so mean and aggressive that I gave in an paid the remaining $304 of the total $970 job over the phone without ever seeing the finished product. For all I knew, there wasn't even a fence up past the 19 feet I saw 3 hours previously and now they had all my money.
Description of Work: We had 61LF of fence line that needed to be torn out and replaced.
