DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Texas Home Improvement. Truly disappointed with this companyâ s lack of communication. Save yourself time and energy by not engaging in business with Texas Home Improvement. My husband saw a promotional ad for Texas Home improvement on Facebook looking for business in our area ( south austin/Buda) doing covered patio extensions so we called them right away. They sent over a sales rep which he did a great job at measuring out everything we wanted for our new covered patio, we walked through every detail from how many fans to can lights to the color of the patio cover etc. Once we got all the details squared away he called his boss -(which we were told was the owner of the company ) and negotiated a price with him-at first NOT giving us the promotion advertised then in the end agreed to giving us the promotional sale we had seen on social media. We all agreed so we signed and down payment was given. We then were able to get the loan for the amount agreed upon with the company and ready to start the process. This was May 22nd. A couple days later we had another ( also very nice man to work with) who walked us through again all the specs and details of our new covered patio, measuring everything and making sure all the details were correct for production. He then put the order in for everything we needed and told us they would start building in July. Over a month goes by and we donâ t hear anything from the company but we knew they werenâ t starting until the July. Then July 2nd we get a call from the company and they sent over another rep which we thought was coming to start the buildâ ¦ he instead tells us the company made a big mistake and misquoted us by 10,000.00 but because it was there mistake they were â only charge us 2,500.00 more.â And wouldnâ t be able to build if we didnâ t pay the extra fee because of there mistake. It was infuriating. The total cost of Production was thoroughly discussed with multiple reps/owner included when we signed and agreed to work with the company back in May. To then suddenly realizing over a month later when production was supposed to start, we now have to pay more. We donâ t agree with this when he tells us, so he said he would talk with his boss again. And then we donâ t hear anything. So we call the company weeks later and they said they didnâ t call back because they thought we had canceled. Yet they still had our deposit. That SAME day we get a call from the company saying all our parts were in and they were ready to start the build𠤦â â ï¸ We tell him whatâ s going on and he had no idea. Clearly this company does NOT communicate. If they canâ t even get the sales part down we canâ t even imagine with the quality of work would have been. The company then sends over a rep to our house and he said he would talk to his boss one more time. If the company was willing to do the build at the agreed price we would move forward. But they chose to loose our business over a 2500.00 mistake on their part. Shame on them for their lack of communication and follow through. The sales people we worked with were very nice guys, but unfortunately the company itself is one to stay away from.

You get what you pay for...it’s as simple as that. They are not the cheapest but they did an amazing job in just a little over a week, using superior materials and paint than the competition. They have crews on staff that are the best at what they do and it shows. Renfari and JR were incredibly responsive and easy to work with, answering all my questions and concerns quickly and thoroughly. They went out of their way to find and correct peripheral issues, like a leaky outdoor water spigot of which we were unaware. Because they fully back their product, they are going to go out of their way to make sure you get a beautiful 100% complete solution. It was a worry free experience that I can’t recommend highly enough. We were so pleased with the siding, crew and company that we also had them replace our roof. They did it in 2 days and it is top of the line and gorgeous. I’ve never been so proud to turn down my street and glimpse my house as i drive up! If your lucky you may get the Stephen/Sam sales duo to come out...they are the Jim and Dwight dream team...if you know that reference then you’ll know you are working with the best. I’ll leave it to you to decide which is which ;) I gave 5 stars because I couldn’t give 6. :)

They were the definitely the most expensive of the installers I got estimates from, but I think I got the best job from them with superior materials. Before and during the job, the service was great. The onsite people were knowledgeable, thorough and courteous. Everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction. Removal of the old roof could have created a huge mess but they dealt with that with no problem. Since I paid one price for the whole job, when they found problems under the old roof, I did not have to pay extra for more more repairs. I liked that. Unfortunately, after the job, customer service forgot about me. This was really a five-star experience, but after everyone left, I got no help getting my written warranty and no one answered the phone. I hope I never need any service on the roof.

They were out last week and fix the problems, and have only one thing to finish. And doing a better job at keeping me up to date on the progress. They did a pretty good job with the siding but they were not as clean as promised. There were a few problems but have not returned to fix them. I had not met JR who was supposed to be the project manager in person although I had talked to him on the phone once during the job over an electrical issue and again after the job was completed about other issues. The project was completed Sept. 3. We called with a list of problems on Sept. 4. JR called Sept. 14 to state the crew was on their way out but it was not a convenient time since I was out of town and needed more advance notice. And no work sense to fix things done wrong or were not completed in the first place.

Little Pricey but there crews were very good and that was what I payed for that and they have been around for awhile and were fully Insured .

They have a quality product that is surprisingly high priced but all things considered i think it will be worth the sticker shock. Very well presented.

One of the very best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. Price fair, installation crew the best I have ever seen. Entire 30*14 pavilion/pergola project completed in 2.5 days.

Raul and crew did a good job and has good customer service. My trim on home and patio looks very nice. They cleaned up when the work was completed. I would use them again.

The team are very good

I didn't think this kind of quality service company existed anymore. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and polite. The three workers who did the job of replacing the old siding and repainting the outside of my home were very dedicated to their work and fast. The finished product is more than I could ever have hoped for. The price was very reasonable and they did a phenomenal job! Thanks a million, Texas home Improvement! I highly recommend the company for your future projects.

The windows themselves turned out fine, but they didn't finish the job. They put up wooden trim around the windows that clearly needs to be sanded and painted, but they didn't do it. When I called them later to ask about it, the guy who coordinated the job said he would check on a possible solution and call me back, but we never heard from him. So now we need to hire someone else to finish the job or spend our time sanding, priming, and painting the trim. Very disappointing and frustrating.

I ended up having the siding replaced with Hardee board and the house painted. The crew was awesome and did an exceptional job. I really like the new look of my house now that the work is completed.

Everyone I had contact with was very nice.

Friendly, polite, professional and efficient. Well-trained crew did a great job and the house looks fantastic!
