Description of Work: I had an appointment to get a leak in two residential A/C units diagnosed. The window given was from 12pm-5pm, but the service tech didn't arrive until 6pm. Due to the tardiness, a service tech has to return another time to complete the job. I was quoted $400 to have a drain line and float switched replaced. This seems high for a few pieces of PVC pipe and less than an hour of work.

The $129 bill, which covers two visits, ended up being $278 because a capacitor needed replacing and overflow protections were added. I chose to accept their recommendation of the overflow protection - though I have no knowledge or expertise to evaluate the need, which added $118 to my bill. Owning a house is new to me and I'm easily swayed by predictions of trouble or disaster ahead. They just finished their second visit the other day. All went well, and the technician was very helpful.

Description of Work: I ordered a deal that included an A/C and furnace tuneup. When the technician arrived, he was only prepared to do one. He thought he was only suppose to do the A/C. So he had to call then wait to hear back if he could even do both checks. He also had to go back to the office to get a carbon monoxide meter, since he wasn't prepared to do the furnace inspection. He did come back and finished whatever he was doing. From talking to him after about what he did, it seemed like he only was inspecting the system versus tuning it up. All in all, his advice did seem reliable and explained some things about the system that I didn't know about my system.

Description of Work: Replaced one of our air conditioners the same day. Excellent up-front disclosure, good pricing, very professional. Old ac was 25 years old so it lasted well. Will use them again when our other ac units go (which are also 25 years old--so any time now unfortunately!)

Description of Work: I called Precision as it did not seem like the AC was cooling the house at all. Precision came and checked out my AC unit and thermostat. They did a diagnostic check on the outside unit and determined all was working as it should. The thermostat was also checked and I was told it was also working properly. The just charged for the service call.

Description of Work: The company did a good job. They just do work on built homes, and not manufactured homes. They called me right away to schedule the service, but as soon as they realized that it was a manufactured home, they told me they couldn't do it and referred to me to someone else. That company ended up doing the work.
