Description of Work: I had purchased one of Angie's special deals! I was contacted within a few hours & a time was set up. Chris was prompt; checked out AC unit & in attic. Ran a diagnostic test to see why Freon was low. Added what was needed. Told me to watch for any temperature changes over next few months & would return to further test it if necessary. Very professional, very polite and informative.

Description of Work: Too soon to give a proper assessment. The technician has to reschedule because there was ice on the AC unit. He says someone should have told us to shut off the unit before the visit. We were not told this. There seemed to be much confusion about the service call we needed versus this deal.

Description of Work: AC Tune-Up: the service man was punctual and professional. Gave us ideas about what could be done without putting any pressure; just gave good advice and information. Just what we wanted!

Description of Work: Precision checked my A/C unit and added Freon, almost 2 pounds. Todd, the technician, was knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Description of Work: Al was extremely professional and efficient. He performed an inspection on the A/C system and a tune-up including cleaning the drain pan and the outside unit. He explained to me his findings in a way that was understandable. He did not try to "upsell" me in any way. I was extremely pleased and will use them again.

Description of Work: Excellent work. My only issue is that they gave me an 8-5 window and weren't able to make it until 6:30, but that's not a big deal - things happen. They were very communicative. The technician worked very hard, was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Great experience.

Description of Work: I called them and they told me they don't work on mobile homes. I asked them for a referral to a company that does work on mobile homes, the representative told me she would ask and told me after about 3 seconds they didn't know anyone. They should have this kind of info, in my opinion. I don't think they even tried.

Description of Work: Replaced evaporator coil. Good work, very reasonable price. Very polite and professional technicians.

Description of Work: Had my AC go out overnight on a Thursday and called them in the morning. Were able to see me that day when another company said next Monday would be the earliest. Tech quickly diagnosed Fan on compressor was bad but did not have the model I needed in the Austin area. Had a motor overnighted but was unable to install until late on Friday.

Description of Work: My air conditioner wasn't working so I purchased a packaged that included cleaning the drain (which is what I believed the issue was). They emailed me a list of questions, one of which was whether the unit was working. The day after I responded, they called me to let me know that they could not perform the service I purchased because my unit wasn't working, but that I could pay $75 for a diagnostic visit (which would be waived if I used them to repair it), or I could purchase another big deal on Angie's list for $39 (which would not be waived) for the same diagnostic visit. They said I couldn't put the value of the big deal I already purchased toward any other services, but that I should easily be able to get a refund from Angie's list. When I tried to make an appointment for the diagnostic visit, they could only guarantee a specific day ("probably in the afternoon", not a time frame, and that they would call me 30 minutes prior to coming. This didn't fit with my work schedule, so I chose to book with another provider.

Description of Work: We purchased a service deal for $129. However, I have run into the following issues: 1. This apparently covers only one unit and not two which our house has. 2. I will need to purchase one more contract for $109 to cover the second unit. This is not clear from the description in the ad. 3. We live in Driftwood and they will charge an extra $30 to get to our place. This is not clear either in the ad. 4. Finally, they cannot come in before June 19th. We need the situation to be taken care of latest by June 12th.

Description of Work: Replaced the fried defroster circuit board in outside A/C unit. Cause appeared to be a lizard getting himself across two high voltage pins. Not much left of lizard or corner of circuit board.
