Their ad says they service Travis County only (15 mile radius of zip code 78757). I live in Manor, which is in Travis County and is less than 15 miles from zip code 78757, but when I called they said as part of their ?protocol? they don?t service Manor. Part of their ?protocol?? What is that supposed to mean???

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out great. They were fantastic. I am having them come out again this week. They were very polite, they were very easy to schedule, and they were very straightforward and honest.

Precision Heating and Air did an excellent job in a really short period of time. In mid summer our existing AC stopped producing cold air at 9:30 pm Thursday night. I called Precision (and 3 other vendors) the next morning and Precision had someone at my house diagnosing the problem at 11:30. All other vendors either never returned the phone call or the earliest they could come was the following week. The Precision technician explained the problem with our 20 year old compressor and provided quotes to replace only the outside unit and 3 quotes for new installations that replaced both exterior and interior units. I decided on replacing both untis and selected the middle quote. The installation team showed up the next morning and spent Saturday removing the old units, installing new ones, replacing some ducts that were collapsed and installing an additional return to properly balance the system. By 6:00 pm Saturday we were cool again. The city inspection happened about 1 month later and there were a few items that had to be re-visited (mismatch of circuit breaker, distance increase for exterior unit from side of house), but Precision came out the next day and took care of everything. We also noticed that the external condensation drains were not generating liquid and they came back and diagnosed the problem (which was in some plumbing not part of the original contract) with no fee.

The technician who came was named Saul, and he did a good job. He took the time to explain what he was doing and what I could do to keep the system clean and running efficiently. I found his very personable and knowledgeable about his trade. I would gladly use them again in the future.

Robert did a wonderful job explaining everything as he went along. He shared w/me in layman's terms how system should work & purpose of filters etc. Also showed me where my problem & potential problems are. I really appreciate the time he took personally to explain things.

First of all, the serviceman was a little late. Then when he got to my place, he had trouble taking the door off the wall to get to the AC unit and consequently it did not fit back into place when all was said and done. Think he bent it. He was supposed to be listening for the knocking noise that I and my daughter had heard coming from the unit. He kept saying that he couldn't hear anything, but I could. Ultimately, he did nothing, but did tell me that I needed to replace the unit because the drip pan was rusted. That was that.

They did a very good job on the inspection and cleaning. They also picked up on the problem that I knew that I had. They showed up on time, they did what I asked them, and they were very professional.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was absolutely the worst experience of my life. I had called them to get them to reimburse me the money that I had wasted. When the guy came out for the big deal service that I had purchased, there was a checklist of items that he was going to perform, and he didn't want to perform most of the things on the list, and when I questioned him about it, he called me names and left. I called the company and asked them why he refused to do the items that I had paid for, they said those were not covered under the big deal. The had said they would clean the compressor coils and the unit, and he basically said that my compressor was too dirty and there was no point for him to do it. He said they charge 200 Dollars an hour for that service, and so he wouldn't even try to clean it. I haven't spoken to anyone else about it, because I was too frustrated to talk to anyone else about it. The company told me that he came out and performed some of the services, and because I signed off on his form that it was okay for him to leave, meant that I was satisfied with the service. I should have refused to sign it and asked him to leave. I called them immediately when I was going to purchase the big deal and scheduled an appointment, and they came out the next day. The big deal had an itemized list of what they were supposed to do. He came out and just gave me a diagnostic of it, and said what I was supposed to do, and what it needed.

They said that everything was installed properly and working correctly. They are also going to be coming back out again to check the heating furnace as per the Big Deal I purchased with them. They were very informative and gave us a lot of information. I liked working with them. It was easy to schedule a time for them to come out and there were no problems. They called before they were coming, so I would know when they would be arriving, and I appreciated that.

Very prompt, very professional, and all repairs were made.

Sales manager came over promptly since I told him our AC was failing to cool properly. I had already had one other guy out earlier in the day who said we had 3 options on our 11 year old system: 1) replace the coil for $1600 2) replace the coil & compressor for around $3000 or 3) replace the whole thing (furnace/coil/compressor) for around $6000. With option 1, if our compressor had failed within a year or so we'd have to replace the coil again, so we decided to bite the bullet and replace the entire system. Precision beat the other guy's quote by $500 and also "threw in" a full duct seal job in the attic, which really only took about an hour. They said they could do the whole job that day ( this was about 2pm). They didn't show up until 7 pm, but the guys were totally professional and worked hard until almost midnight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Precision to anyone who needs honest AC work -- good guys.

It was really good. The deal was 69$ and they realized that I needed something else so they let me use 69$ to credit another service, so they came to do something else. They said that I don't have to worry because I can use my Angie's list credit to help cover another service.They were very fair and they came out the next day after I purchase the deal.

It went well overall. It took a very long time for them to come out, but they did get out their the same day. Once they were out there, they performed the diagnostic and discovered that the capacitor was no longer holding a charge. They replaced the capacitor and reduced the charge by the amount I'd paid for the deal. Overall, I'm quite happy, I just wish they could have given me a little more detail on when they would arrive.

The next day we were contacted by Precision. I wasn't able to call back until 3pm by which time my babies had slept very poorly upstairs and had woken up sweaty. Poor things! The lady I spoke to could not have been more friendly and helpful, listened to my concern and said someone would be out to help us that day. I was delighted we could fix the problem so quickly. The technician was prompt, very polite and thorough and solved what seemed to be an unusual problem at no extra cost to us. I was very happy with every aspect of the service and will be contacting Precision again if we need help or maintenance of either of our units.

They were the only firm that suggested a dual zone in our home to deal with a bedroom that had 3 outside walls. Previously it always was hot in there, but not now. This firm is professional and uses team work during the installation. Would highly recommend them to others.

I need a tune up service since I felt my AC is not cool enough. They insisted that it should be a diagnostic service instead. Furthermore, their additional charge for Freon is $138 per pound which is absurd high. Hence I decided to not use their service and they agreed to refund the deal.

Before I purchased the Angies List, I called and explained the problem I was experiencing was my house wasn't cooling evenly. They advised they would do a full A/C inspection and address issues as needed. When the tech arrived, my wife advised him again that the house wasn't cooling evenly. She also told him we have dampeners installed, that many need to be adjusted. He told my wife dampeners are not a part of a standard a/c system, that they cost extra, and i guess he assumed we didn't have any b/c had he did a quick check, he would have quickly saw them. Instead, based off of his assumption, he told my wife that we don't have dampeners and that was it. I had to call Christianson A/C, the original installers of the A/C system, to have them come out. Christianson came out, did a full inspection, and the only thing that needed adjustment to resolve the issues was to adjusted the dampeners. After paying another $75 just for the service call to Christianson, they were able to correct the original problem that should have been fixed by Precision. I have some rental properties as well, and wanted to find one company to service all of my properties, but I will not be using this company again. I was a little surprised at how the Precision tech could make a decision based on his assumptions without even taking the time to check to see if we had dampeners installed.

After some confusion about the location of the work, the technician showed up promptly, completed the work, explained his concerns with the system and made some recommendations. He was polite, professional and efficient.

I purchased a big deal from them but they never got back in contact with me by the date that they said they would.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very well. They did a very good job, and Don, the gentleman who came out, was very helpful, efficient, and professional. They detected some covering up, that the former owner had done, and he told us what he had found. We had to get a new capacitor, which was reasonable. They had sprayed everything silver, and covered up the rusting and stuff, and so he was very honest with us about what the problem is in our newly bought home. He came on time, he didn't make a mess, and he left it neat. He also made a follow up call to find out how everything was. This was the first time we used him. They came out right away, although it was at a short notice. He assessed the situation, and was very professional about it. He told us what the problems were, and remedied them. We would recommend them. The pricing was fair for what he did. Don was very professional, personable, and timely, and he did a very good job. He was very knowledgeable, and left everything as he had found it. We are thankful to Angie's List for helping us find them.

We had noticed that our 3 year old upstairs AC unit did not appear to be cooling as well as it should. It had been a couple years since we had an inspection on our main floor unit as well so we purchased two Angie's list big deals for AC tuneup and inspection. We did not mention to tech that there were issues with either unit but after a very thorough inspection he diagnosed several issues with the upstairs air conditioner unit. He was very informative and provided detailed quote for items he felt should be addressed and suggestions on which were of higher priority. Would definitely recommend to others.

This problem was completely unrelated to the outdoor problem we experienced earlier in the summer. This time we had water spilling over onto our tile floors due to a plugged up drain. Callie returned my frantic Saturday night call very quickly, told us what to do to protect our system, and assured me that we would be taken care of. Within 30 minutes Cory was at the door and cleared out the line. He did his job efficiently and was very polite and considerate. Our maintenance agreement even saved us a percentage on the service call. Still a very satisfied customer. Our system is 14 years old now, and when it's time to replace it there's no question about who will get the business. Thanks again!

Went well. Derek did a great job of explaining what was going poorly and where our continuing risks are with these 11-year old systems. Systems have cooled us throughout the summer just fine!

Our ac literally blew up on us. This was on Wednesday evening. I searched Angies list for a reputable ac company as the one damaged was only installed 2 years ago and that company appears to be out of business. We chose 3 and the first thing Thursday morning my husband started calling. Precision actually answered the phone - the other calls went to voice mail. Kudos to them for actually answering the phone. They arrived at our home within 2 hours of the initial call. (By the way we live in Texas and it was over 100 degrees in August) My husband was presented with 2 options - to repair under warranty ( we would still pay for labor) or to replace We found out the 2 year old unit was pieced together. My husband elected not to repair as he did not want to have the same problems again. By early afternoon the same day the sale person was out and provided us 3 size options to choose from. Once we made out choice we were told they would be back the next day around noon to install. The next day there were at our house around the time we were told. James and John were the 2 installers who arrived and immediately started working. They worked until after 8pm to install the entire system and make sure all was working properly. Before they left they showed my husband the unit inside and out, they also installed a new thermostat and explained that to him as well. My husband and I were very impressed with the entire process and the company. They were very fast, efficient and professional. The installers were James and John were both great. It was obvious they knew what they were doing and did it well. They were both very professional. My husband and I were both very happy that within 48 hours they had checked out our ac unit, provided us options. had a saleman out and installed out new system. By Friday evening we had ac again. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. As far as the price we feft it was reasonable. Our only issue - I found them on Angies list and informed my husband. I told my husband to let them know we found them on Angies list as they offered a coupon. He said he mentioned it to the guy who came out a couple times but he did not say anything about a discount. I checked the coupon that evening and it said it was to be presented to the saleman - we didnt realize mentioning it was not the same as printing the actual coupon and giving it to the saleman . The next day my husband tried to give the coupon to the installers when they arrived the next morning. They called the salesman, who called back and stated they would not give the full $250 off . Since we did not print the actual coupon off and give it to him while he was here they would not honor the full $250 discount. He did agree to give us a $100 discount off the price. - If there is a coupon provided please review carefully.

On time with a courtesy call 30 min out. Very professional, explained what needed work and completed in a timely manner. Great service and it was a Saturday.
