I had to email the sellers agent back and forth just to get them to permission to go into the unit and then they found out that there is a commercial grade chiller/boiler which we didn't want inspected and they said they could not perform the service. I only want the small air handler inside the unit inspected and they could not do it.

Communication was fine, the only problem was that the service provider could not do maintenance on air conditioning window units.

I saw their great rating and called first thing that morning. They were at my house within 4 hours and called ahead like they said they would. I appreciated the timeliness and being able to fix our unit that same day.

They were great to work with. They were able to do the work according to my schedule. I would hire them again.

That experience was fine. They fixed everything at a reasonable price. My wife was home at the time.

Was able to promptly schedule a visit. I was expecting the Inspection, Cleaning & Tune-up Angie's Deal purchased but found it lacking. Similar to a regular visit to the dental office for a check-up & cleaning - even if they find you have an issue (have a cavity and need a filling, or need a crown, whatever), you STILL EXPECT TO GET THE CLEANING; not just told about your issues. It's helpful to learn that the A/C has an issue that requires attention but it shouldn't be ok to not get the basic cleaning service. Two obvious cleaning items (copied below) included on the list of items and expected with the visit didn't get done and makes us wonder what else was checked off but not actually done. 2. Clean outdoor condenser coil and remove debris from unit 10. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow Though the system was low on refrigerant, the pound of Freon couldn't be added, which was a little disappointing as well. The experience did make me do research on common AC issues and basic/easy maintenance everyone should do such as FLUSH THE CONDENSATE DRAIN TO PROTECT AGAINST OVERFLOW (use a wet/dry Shop Vac and vacuum the drain for clogs at least every year).

Our AC went out (during the Austin summer heat). We made an appointment with Precision to come repair it the next day and my husband left work early to be home to meet them. Not only did the not show up, they never even called us to say they would not be able to make it! Clearly they don't value new business... I suggest going with someone else

I had an appointment for the maintenance visit but the AC unit quit working 3 days before the scheduled visit. When I called they were able to schedule me for the next day. The service person who came out arrived as scheduled, was friendly and professional. Diagnosed the unit problem and was able to replace the part at the same visit. He also performed the maintenance check. Best call I ever made, the service was outstanding. The scheduling of the appointment was easy and the staff so helpful. The service person that came to the house was everything you hope for when you have needed repairs.

The serviceman was great and explained everything to my wife as I was not home at the time. His detailed report was everything a professional should do. I will be using this company again in the future.

It went well. The work was done within a few days after making the big deal purchase. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount because I had an additional air conditioning unit serviced and some repairs done. They seemed to be very honest because there was some additional work that I was getting an estimate about and they said that I didn't need it and that they were happy to give an estimate but they didn't recommend that I should spend the money on it because it wasn't needed.

They performed very good service. I called that week and they were able to schedule something with 2 days, and it was not even an emergency. Technician did a good job looking everything over.

It went well. Our unit was installed by Avery Air (they have since gone out of business and there is no warranty via the company) about 3 years ago. We've had problems with the unit since we had it installed and have had to have work done on it each year. We say a coupon for Precision and decided to get it checked out. It turned out that it continues to have problems. The repair man was able to identify the issue with the leak in the coils. When thought they would still be under warranty, but when he called they said it wasn't. However, he called the company directly to follow up and found that it was still under warranty. He was able to fix our unit and hopefully it will be the last time we need work like this done on our new unit. We weren't expecting to put more $$ into the unit, but are happy with the end results. We will definitely have them come out to check next year.

Great service, great technical knowledge and support, excellent finance terms, no issues with rebate. System is working great and much better than the builder grade unit I replaced.

l made an appointment with Julie last night and she took all our information and told us today 30 min. before they arrive they would call. One of our units is out and it is extremely hot for our child. She then calls us at 10 pm last night to cancel the appointment stating they do not service our area!! Excuse me but her job is to know what area's they service.She didn't tell us at the time of the call and it took her 3 hours to figure it out. This company has cost us money we now have to pay an emergency call to get someone out today because she failed to let us know last night . The right thing to do for this company was to keep the appointment because it was their mistake. However all she said was we do go out they!! SO unprofessional!

Service went well. Fault was found when checking the upstairs system. Upstairs was taking too long to cool, and when serviced, provider found that there was a leak, and that the coolant was very low. Called to find out if the unit was still under warranty, but, it was not. I arranged to have the coil replaced a few days later, as was going out of town. Technician called office, to have another person come out, and look at the job - that was done the same afternoon. The person who came out to look at the job, explained exactly what would happen, and how long the repair would take, and also the cost. Work was scheduled for a time that worked with my schedule. The team came when they said they would, they took the amount of time that they said they would, and was pleased with the overall service from this provider, and would use again.

They were responsive and came quickly to the house to perform these tasks, however, when they arrived at the house, the work that they did was incomplete and not the best. I have had other companies come for the same tasks, and know what it should be like, so when this company came, I was expecting them to do the same types of things. Let me note that the air conditioning was running fine, I just wanted an annual cleaning and tune up. It started well enough, the person looked at the unit inside the house (in the closet), then the person put gauges on the outside unit. Then he notified me that we had a leak. He then started to close up the unit and I was like oh, aren't you going to clean inside there? He said oh, if I wanted he could, and then asked me to bring the water hose. Well, yes, that is what I wanted. He then told us that because of the leak he wasn't going to be able to put in the freon. So basically, he came and looked at it, and then when asked, he cleaned a little bit with the hose, but didn't do a tune-up or anything. He offered to run a test for $150 to see if he could find the leak and fix it. He ran some beeping thing in the house, and said the leak was in the coil, so there was nothing he could do. So we paid more money, on top of the $69, and basically just got the unit rinsed with a water hose. Very dissappointed. Especially since a week later, the unit had a clog in the drain line and we had to have another company come out to clear it, which, if he had done the cleaning and tune-up, it wouldn't have happened. Also the other company checked the system and it was fine. I feel like a sucker for going for the fear appeal and getting the additional leak test, that ended up not doing anything for us anyway. That is my fault for falling prey to that, but I just want what is best for my unit. In the end I feel like they did not do the services they were supposed to (and they wouldn't refund part for not providing the freon either)...and I had to ask him to do things he should have done as a part of the service. I won't use them again. I took a chance on buying this angie's big deal and I am dissappointed overall.

Took less than an hour, and the technician was very courteous and professional. We were able to get a great deal through Angie's List, which made the value really great.

The service turned out very well. They actually replace the entire AC unit. We got a few quotes from other companies but Precision had the best offer. The technicians were very knowledgeable in their field and helpful. They were very cost effective and had the most robust solutions. They were also quick, quiet and efficient. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they showed up on time.
