Response from Precision Heating & Air LLC
Dear member, in response to your comment I would like to enlighten you about what an evaporator coil change out entails and why our pricing is very competitive based on the work that we perform. First and foremost we employ highly trained individuals that are expected to meet very high standards in customer service and craftsmanship. By doing this we can guarantee our work for 2 years unlike most companies which only give one year. Employing top notch staff requires top pay for these employees however the work gets done correctly the first time in most cases which save everyone in the long term. We only use factory OEM parts in all of our installations which means you are getting the exact same part that was designed for that particular system and no retrofitting, or rigging, is necessary. In most cases a company would change out your coil, liquid line drier, evacuate your system and top off the refrigerant. We not only do that but we wire in condensate overflow protection switches, that prevent water damage to your home, we change out the secondary pan, which in almost all cases other companies reuse the existing one, we change out the support blocks that level the coil and most importantly we don't top off your refrigerant we replace all of it with new virgin refrigerant! The reason for this is just in case any non condensing substances, such as moisture, exist in your system which can and will damage your compressor and other vital components! Our philosophy is to do it right the first time and not take any shortcuts and this is the reason we have such a great reputation on Angie's List! Please feel free to contact us @ 512-300-7422 if you have any questions at all.
