The original project (new lawn and flower bed converted to cactus plants and river rock) expanded after suggestions from Jodie, but I am pleased with the end result. I now have a garden that looks more open, tidy and attractive - plus importantly for me, low maintenance. When getting visits and quotes for the proposed work, I sensed Jodie was likely a passionate gardener herself and it was more than a job. One final comment from my neighbor about the guys doing the heavy work, when I apologized for the extra vehicle parking, he commented that they were very courteous and caused no problems.

Amazing service! Absolutely gorgeous deck was installed with flagstone floors. The cedar posts and roofed awning is perfect and so shady. When we asked for a gable last minute, their carpenter said no problem and woodworking was exquisite! They even took our giant dead oak tree for an amazing price and were very professional.

The job that Jodi and her team did for me was beyond what I had imagined. I knew what I wanted, but I didn't know how to make it flow with the space I have. After meeting with Jodi and letting her know what my "style" was she was able to come up with a beautifully stone-bordered space filled with native plants and fruit trees. Her team also removed a dead tree and dead grass and planted drought tolerant sod and large gravel that dramatically changed the appearance of my entire yard! If you have an idea about what you want, but don't know how to accomplish it, it can be done at a reasonable price, call Jodi. You will not be disappointed with her visions for a more useful space and her team's top-notch work.

We are very happy with the final landscaping. We honestly didn’t know what we wanted and relied on Jodie to give us ideas - she was fantastic and the crew was hard working and always on time. The weather was very hot and they worked anyway. It took longer than estimated but the fickle TX weather and our changes caused the delay..We finally have a backyard we can enjoy and it was a pleasure working with Jodie and the crew!!!!

You must pick Morningstar Landscaping for your next project(s)! I am a repeat & lifelong customer. This is now the 4th time working with Morningstar over the last 8 years, and I love everything they have done (I think we’re up to 10-11 projects completed). There isn’t anything that they cannot do! Everything is beautiful with quality craftsmanship and satisfaction guaranteed. Great value. The crew is respectful, always keep a clean site, and finish the job on time. This time around we did a lot! They trimmed my Oak Trees, fixed mortar on my flagstone patio + re-stained my pergola (Morningstar built this for me in 2016 and it has held up beautifully even through our harsh elements), added clear polycarbonate roofing to the pergola, built limestone boarders for my flower beds, created an area for my grill AND put the finishing touches on a little rock garden I tried to start on my own. You will love the owner, Jodi, she’s amazing and one of the best!! And her crew is awesome too! Jodi has been working with the same guys for years-- they make an excellent team!

Finished doing an extensive inside renovation to my second home and was ready to tackle on the outside. Jodi came out and helped design the front and back with great ideas. They constructed a new patio area with beautiful gravel, installed a cowboy pool, deck, built a gorgeous pergola, stained and painted, added landscape lighting, did grading to the land, French drains, and extensive landscaping. Love the privacy trees Jodi chose as well as all the fun plants. Couldn’t be happier and will recommend again.

Finding Jodi and her amazing crew at Morningstar Landscaping was one of the luckiest days of my life. I had complete landscaping plans for my home and the person I hired did a little work and then ghosted me. Jodi came in and exceeded my expectations. Their work was excellent, they were extremely knowledgable, reliable, and communicative. I was particularly impressed with their great balance of being professional AND friendly. Jodi did a great job of executing my vision, while helping guide my choices towards plants that were going to be fairly easy to care for and appropriate for my planting region. I am absolutely thrilled at the result, and since last May, have actually brought them back for a tree-planting and Spring cleaning project. Jodi has incredible patience and has spent hours helping to educate me as to how to care for my new landscaping and seems to always make time for my questions (so. many. questions:-) Thanks Jodi & Crew! Morning Star is a company I’ve used several times. This go round they did a lot of clean up for Spring, powerwashed everywhere, and did extensive sealing and staining of our pergola, pool, and fencing. Jodi recreated a dull, unused area into a very cozy patio area including fire-pit. They installed lights as well and now I have a second area for relaxing. Couldn’t be happier, and also hired Jodi to do estate management on both my properties. Project went smooth and always recommend.

Really well. I invested in the big things like an irrigation system and landscape lighting. Jodi and her team considered a couple of alternatives and made the most of my budget. Jodi and I approached this as the beginning of a long-term relationship where we’ll continue to work together to continue to beautify my property. The work Jodi and her crew did exceeded all of my expectations. The communication was fantastic every step of the way to ensure the project was finished exactly how we wanted. Customer service to the max!! I am extremely particular and detail oriented with my home projects and have struggled to find a contractor in Austin that reciprocates that attitude— until we met Jodi. The entire experience was great, and the finished product was way better looking than I could have imagined. We went from never using our backyard to now being out there every night of the week. If you want a fantastic finished project, great communication and customer service, go with Morningstar. They knocked ours out of the park!!!

Jodi and her team exceeded my expectations! I had a landscaping design done by a company whose bid for the work seemed excessive, so I initially went with an individual who bid much lower. He did some work, then disappeared into thin air:-( Jodi swooped in to save the day! They actually had to undo/redo some things that had been done incorrectly. Not only did she transform my front and back yard into exactly what I had envisioned, working with them was much less stressful than I expected -- it was actually fun! All the work was done as promised, and with exceptional craftsmanship. I was so appreciative that Jodi communicated with me every step of the way, keeping my vision at the forefront while offering her expertise to help me make the best choices for my project. They were always willing to work around my schedule, and her whole team was not only exceptionally talented, they were also very professional, friendly, and respectful of my home and space. We couldn’t be happier with the work that Jodi and her team did in our backyard. She took our newly constructed pool/spa and pavilion and added so much character and life to the project. Brought back Morning Star to do some Winter clean up after the bad freeze and get a plan for Spring plantings. Jodi and her crew did a great job, added winter color, did some light pruning on the trees, and mulched. They also added a few landscape lights and did some interior painting touch-ups. I have used them for large and smaller projects and never been disappointed. Looking forward to landscaping in the Spring as well as new hardscaping. Great job.
