Morningstar Landscaping, Inc. is an award-winning landscape design/build/service company. Our designs range from simple concepts to sophisticated arrangements. Your personality and preferences determine what blend of these elements are used and to what extent. A true signature garden should not look designed and built, but rather natural and complementary to the residence. Our landscape compositions enhance and blend with their natural environment. We are committed to professionalism, originality and quality control from start to finish. This ensures the quality of each complete garden and installation. Every garden begins with a personal consultation where we learn about you, your plant preferences and the style and spirit you want your signature garden to express. Meet Jodi: Jodi is a Certified Horticulture Therapist, Landscape Professional, and Landscape Construction Project Manager, designing and implementing landscape projects in the Austin area for over 20 years. Jodi strives to create beautiful landscapes that enhance the environment and welcome nature in our lives. considering the extreme dynamics of Texas weather she utilizes many native and adaptable species.

Description of Work: Jodi came to our house and walked the yard with us on February 19. She seemed knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She said she would send over a proposal, and it sounded like we were going to have an open dialog about our landscaping needs. Two weeks later, I emailed her asking if she had put together any suggestions or ideas for us. She replied that she would get us a proposal in a couple of days. That was three weeks ago, and we've heard nothing. | |We give a B for punctuality because she was a little late to her appointment with us but let us know she was behind schedule. She gets a B for price because the fee was very reasonable for a personal, in-home consultation. The F for responsiveness and D for professionalism come from accepting payment for a service and not following through with it. We cannot assess the quality of her work because we have nothing to evaluate.

Well this is a bummer �� I'm so sorry I let this get far behind on submission. Y'all are a very sweet and interesting couple who I really enjoyed meeting and talking with. I do apologize for ( to be honest)- not catching this in time. I wish you the best in this beautiful early Spring, and again- apologies. I spread myself a bit thin at times and we strive to make as many people happy with our services. I feel really bad I got back logged. But you are awesome people and thank you for considering us. I do not get any money from the coupon just fyi, Angie gets all that.

Hi- this is a wrong review. We did a patio for this member, very very sweet person whom I just loved working with. I know she had a phase 2 with sod and drainage and was going with another company due to the small size, so this has got to b directed at them. She sang our praises during and finished, paid in full and gave me many hugs. I know there r some medical issues involved ( I'm not a doctor or disclosing anything personal), so I will personally go by her home to see if she undersyand a this was wrong review. She's just a lovely person. Here is one of the many great emails I received but this is the last one- Sad that you didn’t get to stop by later today after all. Charles worked steadily and did a good job until time to wrap. Wanna add good words about Charles. Around here for several days, I saw Charles to be a smart man, with a convivial personality and a good work ethic! Would like to have told you personally how well he reflects on your company! Will put a check in the mail tomorrow (Saturday) for payment in full (in the envelope I showed you — check dated the 26th.) Surely you'll get the check on Monday. Please let me know, if a different plan be more appropriate. Hope all is well with you. If it’s not, know that it soon will be! Have a great weekend! Member

No service was provided.
Description of Work: This provider did absolutely nothing. I sent an email requesting an appointment, specifically for xeriscaping; it took a couple weeks for 'Jodi' to get back with me (via email) giving me two days and times to choose from. I immediately responded but never got a confirmation email. The day before the date I chose, I sent a confirming email but never got a response. The day I chose came and went with a no-call-no-show. Guess business is just overwhelming in Austin right now....

Wrong, wrong, wrong... It took a couple of weeks??? Here's the emails- I responded within our 5 day window, and never ever got a confirmation on which day she wanted. Although we are not even taking landscape clients until late June or July, she lives near a job site we were on and I was going to meet during my lunch. This posting should not be allowed as it is a blatant lie. " April 25, 4:28 AM" Hi (Memeber Name Removed)- thk u for contacting us. Would b happy to meet soon. I'm booked about 2 weeks but we r working South near you so I could break off during lunch. Could u meet next week around 11:00? Tues or thurs? Description of Work: Never received a return call, so they never had the opportunity to win my business. I understand the desire to remain small but close yourself to new business if you're not going to return calls to prospective customers. Interesting review considering I called you yesterday around 5:30 and left a voicemail. You should check it before writing a false report. I really do no appreciate reports that are allowed to be posted based on a voicemail when there has been NO communication involved. This is where Angies List does not help people We hv about 100 reviews so obviously calls are getting returned. Check your voicemail.
