Jack West made an appointment and showed up on time.  Packed every time with extreme care.  Blankets, plastic wrap, glass tops packed separately.  We ran into some trouble when arriving at the apartment because the carpet cleaners were waiting to get in to do the work they promised to have done the day before  Mr. West unloaded into the kitchen and bath room and agreed to come back in two hours to reposition all of the furniture.  He was very reasonable about the time added to do this even though it had nothing to do with them.  For $85 an hour, I think we got a lot of value in a first class move.  Big truck and excellent service.  No damage whatsoever.  I would use them again.

My husband and I have used an ABF truck in prior moves to temporarily house the majority of our household goods while we looked for and closed on a home purchase.  We have not had the greatest luck in the past with getting these huge trailers packed efficiently and securely.  Then we found Jack West, the owner of Central Texas Moving Co in the Austin, TX area.  He said his guys were fast.  He said his guys were good.  He said he provided a stress-free move.  I thought this was all hype.  I was wrong.  His guys took great care in moving our stuff.  His employee, Ray, is a regular "artist" when it came to packing the ABF trailer.   Jack and Ray were careful to make sure the heavy stuff was on the bottom, that nothing would be crushed, vulnerable stuff was protected, and that they took full advantage of all of the volume available in these large trailers.   The biggest and best surprise of all was the speed with which these guys did their work.  Jack & his guys really did do a stress free move.  AND they were very competitively priced.  We were so pleased with their trailer loading, that we decided to turn over the move of our remaining household goods from Round Rock to a temporary apartment in Carrollton to them.  We were going to do it ourselves via UHaul; but after seeing Jack & his guys operate, we decided to give ourselves a break and let Jack and Central Texas Moving do it for us.  We highly recommend Jack West and Central Texas Moving to anyone who needs moving help in Central Texas Pat Danenberg
